Good travelers! About Temirlik Canyon. Charyn National Park has two independent canyons: Charyn Canyon and Temirlik Canyon. Temirlik Canyon has its own separate water supply from the Charyn Canyon - the Temirlik River, which originates in the Uzynbulak ridge (formerly. Ketmen). The Temirlik and Charyn canyons converge into one grand canyon and already continue under one common name - Charyn Canyon. In addition, dozens of smaller gorges - canyons are adjacent to the main riverbeds. Such as; Valley of castles, Bestamak, Moon Canyon, Boots, etc. Temirlik Canyon has its own landscape color, different from other canyons. A Sogdian relict ash tree grows at the bottom. You can take long walks of varying difficulty around the territory. The territory of the Charyn Park, in my opinion, is one of the three most impressive landscape zones of the Almaty region. The stone galleries of the canyons are very diverse in color and texture, with completely different views from different panoramic points. For those who love hiking, it is a wonderful opportunity to stretch their legs on sometimes difficult terrain. To enjoy the beauty of the stone galleries sufficiently, it is advisable to have at least two days, since this is 500 km of the main road and about 100 km of off-road between the canyons. The terrain of the canyons is quite confusing and it is not always easy to find the right road and path to travel. Some sections of the park's roads are passable only by prepared jeeps. It can be hot in summer and it is advisable to have an adequate supply of water. Mudflows periodically pass through the canyons, so it is advisable to choose the right place for camping. Scorpions, venomous snakes and phalanges live in the park, please do not offend them. A big request is to take away all the garbage that you brought with you. There are garbage cans in some camping areas, but wild animals usually get to our garbage faster, which probably does not benefit their digestion. Have a nice trip!

It's a cool place, there were a lot of people this year, they barely found a place to set up a campsite. It's cool near the river, you can swim, and fish.

There is no normal exit to the canyon and no designation on the map. We searched for access to the canyon for two hours.
