Paradoxes of history - the modern shrine of the Incas, the cathedral was founded by their conqueror and founder of Lima, conquistador Francisco Pizarro, who is buried here. The current cathedral (minor basilica) is certainly beautiful. Admires both the architecture and the interior decoration . The rich main altar with gilding and carved wooden images is striking. On the tour you can learn a lot of interesting things, as well as without a tour you will not get to the museum and the cellars of the temple.
