Positive:
There is a cozy place on the roof with tables to drink a cup of tea and enjoy the view of Istanbul.) Wonderful and delicious breakfasts.
Friendly and helpful staff: there was a response to every request.
The rooms are cleaned daily with a change of towels.
Drinking water is freely available: there is a cooler.
Cons:
There may be faulty technical devices in the rooms (we had a problem with the TV).
I do not recommend taking rooms on the ground floor: there are no windows there.
P.S.
The hotel is not for the fastidious: a normal, good place; it just fits the money.

We stayed at the hotel in October 2024. The building has been renovated, the rooms are clean, the plumbing is new, the bed linen is snow-white, the elevator is working. This means a lot for hotels in the center of Istanbul. Whoever lived here will understand me. The room is small, but all amenities are available: hot water is always available, kettle, refrigerator. There is an air conditioner, but we did not turn it on. Upon check-in, we were pleased with the information that there will be free breakfasts. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. A choice of 5-6 dishes plus dessert, the kitchen is right at home, delicious and quite enough. Of course, the first time we were directly scared by the descent on which the hotel is located. But then they got used to it, since the whole of Istanbul is a continuous ascent and descent. You can walk not immediately steeply up Chamberlitas, but along a more gentle street that leads to Sultanahmet Square. We recommend only sneakers from shoes, since the brought sandals remained in the suitcase. But there are a lot of attractions around! There are many bakeries, cafes and restaurants nearby

Among the advantages: location - near Sultanahmet, tram tracks, embankment, large, spacious room, good sound insulation.
Of the cons: short sheets, not the size of the mattress, a meager breakfast, a cockroach was met in the bathroom on the last night
