Such a service and such an offense in tourism can only be in the East Kazakhstan region. We were in VIP room 401 from March 21st to March 22nd, 2025. We paid 100,000 tenge for 6 people. with lunch and breakfast. The package includes only breakfast and lunch, so I immediately asked how we could arrange a dinner. The sales department told us that either we buy dinner separately, or we can grill a barbecue we brought with us. The barbecue and gazebo are free for those staying in the rooms. We have agreed to these terms. They even wanted to sit at the table in the gazebo in the evening. But that was not the case. As soon as we entered the hotel, we immediately started shaking. Parking, they said, is paid separately, and so is the gazebo. But if we didn't ask a question about parking when we took the ticket, then we were clearly told about the gazebo that it was free for us. But the receptionist ran after us all day and asked us to pay. They say we can sit for free if they are free, but supposedly many people have already booked and paid the money. And it would be better for us to pay too, otherwise we will be left without a gazebo at all. Then we refused to sit down and said that we would just roast a barbecue and go to the room. As a result, they did so in the evening. When our men went to the room with a barbecue, she started demanding 4,000 tenge for using the gazebo again. By the way, no one occupied any arbors, they stood empty all day and all evening. But for some reason, they urgently asked us for money. I had to argue with the administrator. The mood was completely ruined. And so we paid dearly for a vacation, which is not worth half of that money. An old, shabby hotel building with an inconvenient staircase, lunch of buckwheat and pea soup, gov..but throughout the territory, etc. Dogs run around the territory unbound. But we love dogs, but gov..but it could also be removed. And it's everywhere, even on the children's slide, everything is strewn with dog shit. And there's also a broken electrical cable lying on the territory. It's just outrageous, how can such prices be set under such living conditions?You either raise the level of service or lower the prices. You can't do that, guys.

We visit the Izumrudny sanatorium every summer, without treatment, we just go out for 3-4 days in the summer to take a break from city life. In general, we like everything: beautiful nature, good enough cuisine. Yes, the rooms are already tired, but we know where we are going and therefore there is no negativity. I would like to say thank you for the fact that the administration takes into account taste preferences. My son and I do not eat mutton, after learning about this, we were offered beef, for which many thanks. A few years ago, it was possible to familiarize yourself with the menu in advance, now this is not the case, but I would like to. People have different tastes, it is still necessary that there be at least a small choice. This year, we noticed that there are more young people, not only middle-aged people and pensioners. There is animation, but we were not interested in it. It's good that there is an opportunity to go out and relax near Ust-Kamenogorsk!

The Abilmazhinov family from Astana thanks the friendly staff of the Izumrudny sanatorium for the warm welcome and service. During this week, we breathed in the mountain air, enjoyed the silence and, most importantly, took care of our health. We enjoyed all the wellness treatments. We thank the entire team that takes part in the life of the sanatorium, especially the nurse Elena and the manager Larisa Arkadyevna. Her advice as a medic is invaluable. Her communication with clients (they are very, very different) suggests that she is a good psychologist, organizer and the human factor is not alien to her. Thanks to such people, the rest is memorable, and who knows, we will gather here again.
Of course, we wanted to travel and see more nature. Make a small heated indoor pool, as it was announced on your website, then the children will not be bored.
We thank the chef and her assistants for the healthy and delicious cuisine.
Come to Izumrudny for health, breathe healthy, thick, fragrant air! Here, nature is almost in its original form. You have to see it with your own eyes. Health to the whole team and let the list of services of the sanatorium grow qualitatively!

The memories of visiting the sanatorium "izumrudny" are only positive. As there are no identical people and opinions may differ. But I really, really liked it. The nature around you gives you so many positive emotions. The staff of the sanatorium is very attentive, I liked the range of medical procedures provided, very tasty cooked and varied food.

We were traveling from Semey for the weekend, with the children. The administration did not warn that the pool was not working this year. The territory is beautiful, the air is gorgeous and the scenery is beautiful. There is a small trout pond. You can catch it and they won't cook it right away.

Another object from the Soviet past! Nothing has changed, only the building has become decrepit and the ruins of a funicular and apparently an old garage. An ideal place for the development of tourism, but only modern with eco-friendly hotels, paths, walking corpses. I rested for 10 days from 25.07 to 04.08. 2022 at the Izumrudny sanatorium, had a great time!!! The rest was great!!!
The staff is great!!!! I would especially like to mention Orlovskaya Larisa Arkadyevna, Kisyanova Aliya Sagidullayevna, Popova Larisa Dmitrievna, Orlova Tamara Grigoryevna, Korotkova Oksana Petrovna, Semikina Lyubov Vasilyevna masseurs Olga, Boris and of course animator Petrenko Galina Nikolaevna she very skillfully organized our leisure time, thanks to her we were not bored.
The chefs fed us well and deliciously, the girls Veronica, Dasha, and others served us flawlessly. In general, we had a great rest, we really liked it. And if it works out, then of course we will come again!!! 👍👍👍💯

The first time I managed to visit this sanatorium was on a weekend in February 2022. The main purpose of the visit was the Altai Alps ski resort (located 5 kilometers from the sanatorium).
I chose this place for the night, as there are free houses (for 6 people) It was already impossible to find at the Altai Alps ski resort 2 weeks before the planned arrival date.
Like it:
A quiet and peaceful place (it is worth paying tribute to nature and those who chose this place to build the former N.F. Gastello pioneer camp).
Delicious food (with a daily room reservation, 2 meals a day are provided).
The interior of the rooms is not bad for the level of East Kazakhstan.
It was a little disappointing
In two rooms of room 301 (suite), there were cold batteries throughout the entire stay (the electric heater slightly corrected the situation). In the adjacent standard room 305, the batteries were hot.
When entering the territory by your own car, entry is allowed only after paying 1000 tenge at the checkpoint (perhaps these requirements are standard for this branch of tourism).
When moving up the stairs inside the building, you had to look carefully at your feet and, just in case, stick to the railings, since in some places, parts of the tiles were kept on "honest word".
