A brand-new hotel. The room is beautiful. Sea and mountain views. The balcony is large, it's good to sit on chairs and admire the views. Clear. Cleaning every day. A hotel with access to the embankment. The smell of the sea and the sound of waves. Wow! The dining room is normal. Heated swimming pool (bathrobes, basika towels are available) with waterfall. Construction work is still underway on the territory, but unobtrusively. The reception offers guided tours, which we took advantage of. We took an individual tour, and in the following days we traveled with the same driver-guide to all the sights of the country. Great vacation. Good people. I liked everything. I recommend it!

New hotel by the sea🌊
The rooms are clean and cozy, there are slippers, soft bathrobes. 1.5 liters of water is replenished every day, which is a big plus because there is a kettle.
The bathroom really lacks a shower curtain, all the water splashes all over the room. Due to the possibly cheap towel rails or poor installation, it sparked and knocked out the plugs in our room - it's not safe!
When asked to change the room, they said that the hotel did not have a room of this category available (they say this in all hotels when they do not want to do anything) and that the master would fix everything, but the situation repeated itself over and over again. Unfortunately, they won't do anything until you raise your voice. As a result, they gave me a new room, higher and with a view of the sea, the heated towel rail was no longer sparking, but I was already paranoid😅
A good Swedish line restaurant. The food is not very diverse, but everyone will find something to eat. I especially want to mention the coffee from the coffee machine, very tasty and delicate taste, it was worth standing in line every time for it.

Located on the first line, buffet three times a day, clean pool, there is a small sports room. The food is good, delicious, you can choose something dietary, for example boiled cauliflower is available three times a day, soup 3 times a day, broth in the morning and evening and at lunch three soups to choose from, a bunch of different confectionery pastries, cakes, juices... The rooms are cool, the walls are glass, lots of light, everything is new, the beds and mattresses are all of good quality, the staff is diligent.

I had a rest at the hotel in November 2024 and was very satisfied. A new hotel, everything is in order. Friendly
and helpful staff. A warm swimming pool, sports activities for those who wish, a disco in the evening. Classes are held with children. It is possible to book excursions directly at the hotel. Each room has a kettle, tea, sugar. The dining room is always in order. Simple dishes, but everything is delicious. 5-6 types of hot side dishes. 3-4 types of salads, 3 types of soup for lunch, buns, mannikins, desserts, 4-5 types of juice, tea, compote, coffee. From fruits, tangerines, persimmons, apples, pears.
It is a pity that there were such characters among the vacationers that it was even a shame for them... All of them were not satisfied with something... Scandals were thrown out of the blue just so that everyone would pay attention to them. They spoiled the mood of the staff, vacationers, first of all themselves!!! I can only give advice, if the Internet is bad and there is no way to sit on the phone - go to the pool to swim, go on an excursion, walk along the embankment, go to the market, sign up for a photo shoot in the tangerine garden!!! If for some reason the towels have not been changed, etc., go to the maid on the floor, remind her that the soap is out, tea and sugar. They will do everything, no problem!!! The hotel is new, some work is still underway, just be prepared for this... I wish you all a good rest!!! I personally expressed my gratitude and wishes to the staff upon departure.

A new hotel, the location is very convenient near the sea, just a stone's throw away. They were in early May 2025. The impression of the hotel is that I want to return. The room was a two-room room, we were having a rest with the children. Panoramic windows, balcony - sea view is gorgeous, you can hear the sound of the sea in the room, so close, dolphins were watched every day. The rooms are well equipped, although the cleaning was done a couple of times a week and a couple of times, they called to clean up or at least take out the trash, they also asked for water to be brought, they say they have to replenish every day at the reception. The numbers match the photos. The pool is warm when it was cool outside and cloudy - we swam anyway, you can get used to it, but it's great in the sun! The hotel is still being completed, repairs are underway next to the pool, the main restaurant. I would like to see the hotel when everything is finished, I hope they will be watching. The food is wonderful, delicious, a very good choice for Abkhazia, the cottage cheese is delicious; one coffee machine did not bother, there are no wild queues, maximum 2-3 people. I think the location is very good, because you can walk along the embankment and walk to the fruit market. We walked from the hotel to Staraya Gagra and took a taxi back. I didn't have enough time for the Dolphinarium, but I could also walk. There is a woman sitting at the hotel - they took a car with a driver from her, cheaper than all the street offers, everything was fine.

A wonderful hotel. I came to it for my birthday. The room has a magnificent view of the sea, spacious, clean, bright, stained glass Windows. Towels were changed every day. The food is a buffet, it is impossible to stay hungry) On my birthday, I received a compliment from the hotel - I returned from a walk, and there is champagne in the room. 🍾 ♥ In the evening, in the dining room, the staff was solemnly presented with a very beautifully and unusually decorated fruit slice and solemnly congratulated everyone present to the applause... A great new hotel, with a good location to the sea and infrastructure. We had a rest from 12/26/24 to 12/30/24. The warm pool is the cherry on the cake. Large rooms. Excellent food. Good staff service. I'll be back out of season again. I hope they don't have time to spoil the hotel (as we usually always do!) Abkhazia itself is back to the USSR! I'm kind of freaked out, but I don't know how to spend my vacation here. Prices are Moscow, there is no service in the country. What's the point? Although the attitude of the locals is friendly. We really enjoyed our vacation here!!!! We were at the end of March. The pool is really very warm, the staff is very friendly. The food in the dining room was delicious, and the amount of food made the balls roll. The waiters are very polite. The hotel itself is right on the beach, at night we listened to the sound of the waves. The room was clean, cleaning was done daily, towels were changed, and bathrobes were provided at the request of a larger size. Nice hotel, I really liked it. We had a rest with the children in December, the pool was no longer working. The food was delicious, homely and varied, and we didn't go hungry. We stayed at the hotel in October 2024. The hotel is new, clean and this is the main plus, the food is homemade and everything is delicious. The hotel was full and the elevators were always overloaded, there was animation in the evenings, karaoke night or mafia games, another plus is a very warm heated pool. In Abkhazia, the lights are often turned off, the hotel has generators, so always be with the light on. The Internet catches perfectly, all over the territory.
Nice playground. Rattan furniture, benches. Of course, the sun beds are quite simple, but they are there and it pleases.
The only negative is the elevators at the time of our rest, all 2 elevators were working, and during rush hours (breakfast, lunch, dinner) it was possible to get into traffic for a long time to wait for an empty elevator, but the hotel has 2 more elevators they will be launched soon, I think the problem will be solved.

We arrived with 3 families, we bought vouchers in advance, asked to be placed on the same floor, as a result, we were placed on the 5th, 8th, 10th floors, which was certainly not convenient for us. I still don't understand why there are different rooms, since there were a lot of rooms available for both 5 and 8. The pool did not work on the 1st and 2nd, they promised to take us to the pool at the Nart hotel, since apparently they have the same owner, but not one of the days we did not get there because we sent 2 buses a day and there were not enough places for us, although we came to register daily. We have been to many places and this is one of the fantastic views from our room to the sea, coast and mountains. 2-room suite, 56 sq.m. The room has a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, towels, beach towels, shampoos, toothbrushes, tea, kettle, water, mugs. There is not enough room filling in the form of decorative trifles. Iron and ironing board in the lobby on each floor. Baby cot 600₽/day.Room cleaning is formal: taking out the trash and replenishing consumables, that's it.

There were 3 elevators working, the 4th elevator was installed, but did not go.
The pool is cool, the temperature is +30, the children's pool is 90cm deep, the child was swimming unattended. The hotel's beach by the sea is free of charge: sun beds, umbrellas 100m towards the Ferris wheel.
The food, The first 3 days were very tasty and varied in dishes, then there was a major arrival of guests and the food did not change for the better, both in terms of assortment and quality, it became somehow monotonous, for example, out of 6 meat dishes there could be 3 chicken, the coffee machine stopped working. After a major check-in, the same applies to the pool area and elevator traffic jams during rush hour. Be prepared that there will be no place by the pool during the day, the "guests" went to sleep in the room until the evening, but the deck chairs were booked with things for the whole day.
There is a shopping center nearby, it has a food zone, a supermarket where the WORLD of contactless is accepted. Wine in the store: there is a high probability of running into a surrogate, regardless of the cost.
In general, it's not a bad hotel, but it's not designed for 100% occupancy, and if I were taking it now, it would only be with breakfast, and then I would eat in the shopping center or the city.

We rested from November 21-27, 2024 in the standard room, on the 6th floor. The Wi-Fi was fine, the TV was also set up and we watched movies and Russian channels without problems. There was everything you needed in the room. For us, the downside was that there was no threshold in the shower, and when bathing, water was everywhere (thoughtlessly by the builders). The maids are good, they asked us what we needed, they brought it right away. Since we got into rainy weather, it was not always comfortable to go to the dining room in the rain, but this is no longer a claim to the hotel). Many people are worried about waiting for the elevator, we didn't expect it for a very long time, maybe we were lucky. On the first day we went to the canteen for the opening, of course this is some kind of quest... They run away as if from a hungry land). In the following days, they started walking an hour after the opening and were very happy. Freely, quietly, they don't jostle.. The workers bring the dishes which are over. The food is very good, without frills, but homemade delicious food, a large selection for all tastes. The fruits are seasonal, we had persimmons, tangerines, apples, pears, bananas. I really didn't understand why they started peeling bananas at some point? Maybe because they were green (I took them, but I couldn't eat them). Instant coffee, several types of drink, dried fruit compote, tea. I didn't like the coffee in the coffee machine, it's not delicious for me.
The sea is nearby, but as I realized the beach is not equipped yet, perhaps they will do it by the season. We swam in the pool once, but again because of the weather, then it was a little cold to run to the room. At the departure, the girls called a taxi. The only point is that there is little entertainment in the evening. The main thing is the mafia game. I think it still depends on the season, of course. In general, we are satisfied with the rest. We were with my daughter from 13.11 to 19.11, I'll start with the pros:
The hotel is really new, everything is very nice and clean. The room has a kettle, refrigerator, tea bags and two bottles of water for a day. There is a great hair dryer in the toilet, it's just super, you don't need to hold this stupid button to dry your hair.There is also a large TV, by the way, it does not work from the Internet, but cable, if you can not connect, leave a request and they will set it up right away.At the reception, the girls will always help and tell you, thank them for that. The food is excellent, we are not picky, we always found something to eat. There were tangerines and persimmons, apples, bananas. There was never anything sour, thanks a lot to the kitchen staff for that. Do not count on coffee from the coffee machine, only instant. The only disadvantage in the restaurant is that they do not keep up with such a stream of people and there are no tweezers to take a lemon🙈Some people pick at it with their hands, some with spoons, there are small tweezers for such things, otherwise everyone climbs into this plate with lemon. The pool is really clean and warm in it, we are from the Urals, we are warm, of course we want to be warmer, but I think they will come up with something. In comparison, the pool at the Europa hotel is green, no one cleans it, does not change the water, and every day the uncle cleans the Emerald.
Well, now the cons:
They've never written about elevators, it's just some kind of scribe. Standing in line to get to the 14th floor is still a challenge. And it's not likely to go down, as a result, sometimes I had to walk down.
WiFi is also one of the scribes, if anyone expects to rest and work, then this is not your option. You stand at the reception and catch, step to the right or to the left, consider yourself lost everything. At the end of the rest, the people decreased, so the connection began to catch even in the room. It turns out that there is not enough communication power for the number of vacationers.
Who said the girls do the cleaning? We even did an experiment, weighed the sign to remove the room, we come and nothing has changed. The trash was taken out, the bed was made without a blanket, towels were not brought. We haven't changed the bed linen once in a week. No one touched the toilet, no one washed the mirror, and so it was all these days. If the owner of the hotel reads this review, then I hope they will take action, I would not like such beauty to be spoiled simply by cleaning and communication.
By the way, they gave me a carbonated wine drink for my doctor, a trifle, but it's nice, thank you.
There is no animation, well, there is none throughout Abkhazia, and it is designed here that you will drive and admire the beauty of this beautiful country. Speaking of excursions: we went with a travel agency that offers its services at the bottom of the hotel, I want to say the following: if rizza, then it's better to chip in with someone for a car with a local driver than with a travel agency. They will take you on tastings for half of the tour, and the most basic beauty for which they paid the money will be driven around Europe by holop.

The hotel is within walking distance from the sea, from the balcony you can already see and hear the sea. If your windows face the side of the cafe, then you will hear the noise from the events. The food is varied, there is a taste and color that someone likes, I can't say that everything is delicious, there was soup on the water, there were vegetables that were frozen several times. Upon check-in, the room was relatively clean, someone's toothpick and napkin were lying around.
THE DISADVANTAGE is that there is no coffee machine, only a freeze-dried substitute. You can come at the end of lunch or dinner, but there is already no food. Naturally, what do we want for that kind of money? But then why call the service a buffet?
Room cleaning is a different story. During cleaning, the bed linen was never changed, besides, the duvet cover was on the wrong side (I was too lazy to change myself) the cleaning service cleaned twice in 4 days and twice they pissed on the rim of the toilet bowl (the second time they already dealt with the administration- they no longer pissed at us, but maybe the neighbors decided to relieve themselves)Of the cons, as I wrote, the soup is unobtrusive, but on the water. The local Abkhazians have fun throwing firecrackers at everyone's feet. There was someone's hair in buzhenin... it's pi.....c! The kitchen staff cook without caps, nets and without gloves! There's only one excuse for everything - we've only recently opened…

Of the disadvantages, there are two elevators, two elevators in the plans, I dragged the stroller to the third floor, constant queues.They wash the dishes very badly-HORROR! Wi-fi in the rooms works disgusting, respectively, and there is no TV. Next to the cafe, they have music blaring until 00 o'clock, and my child is small, in general, not bad.

The hotel is new, all the furniture is new, the staff is responsive , we rested at the end of August 2024, there was a free lobby bar ( chacha , wine, coffee on the sand), but friends went in September - the bar became already paid. The food is all inclusive , the breakfasts are delicious, varied , but lunch and dinner were not always satisfactory, there were sour cutlets , sour salad, olivier did not like it at all, we had breakfast at the hotel, and the rest of the meals were in the city.... But the hotel itself is beautiful , the views from the room are gorgeous, it's a pity the small area. Nice, clean beach (1st line from the sea) sun beds are free, there are a limited number of people. Of course, the price for 2025 is very high, but it will change , we rested for 28 rubles per person for 5 nights.

We had a rest at the end of April, I don't know where the 5-star rating came from, but one of the advantages is that the rooms are clean! The food for Abkhazia is quite tasty. But!!!! If your room does not have a sea view, then you are buying a tour to the construction site! Of which there are two nearby ! No one will hurry to change this nightmare for you! From 7 a.m. you'll be listening to jackhammers, grinders, and workers' screams. The pool is sooooo small and very cold and for some reason it only works until 19.00, as well as the gym. The staff are boorish Abkhazians! Of the 4 days, there was no light for almost a day, respectively, and no hot water either! The generator is humming so that you can hear it for two blocks! In a triple room with an extra bed , for which , by the way , they charged 600 rubles each for renting a cot , they put two shower gels and two shampoos . Each time you need to go down from the 12th floor to the reception and ask for gel and shampoo . Entertainment is zero! The 16-storey hotel has one tennis table! That's all. There is no territory as such ! The animator's form does not entertain either children or adults in any way! The disco in the corner of the lobby under the phone is just chic. Overall, it's a three. We'll never come again.

Entertainment program - aqua aerobics , water polo, mafia for children and adults, aqua grimm, mini disco. The food is excellent - every day something different , 3 types of side dishes , French meat , chicken chops , all kinds of cutlets , fish, vegetable salads , olivier , sliced vegetables , grilled vegetables , casseroles in the morning, omelets, scrambled eggs , pancakes , Viennese waffles , generally you will not stay hungry.

The hotel itself is good, the rooms are spacious, everything is new, beautiful, cleaning every day, the girls are well done, the pool is good, this is probably all the advantages. The trouble with the elevators, there were not enough two working elevators for a fully occupied hotel, there were always queues, but I think the situation will improve by next season. As for the food, I don't know who liked it, we were in other hotels in Abkhazia, there is just table food, mostly one chicken, pork was from meat and then not every day, and I was very surprised that fish was served, fried capelin, pangasius and twice pink salmon, is this the menu of the Grand Hotel? Dumplings and dumplings in one lump, porridge at breakfast is not tasty, if something is more or less edible, it was sorted out instantly and it's not a fact that they will bring more, who is faster and in time. The same thing happened with fruits and drinks, the coffee machine was constantly not working, drinks were quickly running out. No entertainment, complete silence in the evenings, there were three times children's animation, if you can call it that, and so people just sat on sofas in the yard and listened to music from a nearby cafe. For the amount that we managed to buy the tour, this is probably fine, but for the amount that was already indicated at the time of the trip, it's not worth it.

We visited in April 2025. The hotel is clean and new. The rooms have a pleasant smell. Three meals a day (if everything is included). The hotel has a dining room, a swimming pool, its own access to the beach, a playground, etc. The staff is polite. They are not allowed to carry food from the dining room to the room. The only exception is the excursion (they let you put food in a container). The food is simple but delicious. Great for families with children.

We rested at the end of August, the hotel is cool, the staff is very attentive and polite (although it seemed to us that the locals outside the hotel were not particularly friendly, there was a big difference right there), room cleaning every day (they left a tip of 100 rubles, cleaned well), towels are changed regularly, even beach towels, the food is delicious, there is always a choice, it's nice that there was a nurse at the hotel-she helped out a lot when they got sick (she came to the room to give an injection), no extra charge is required for services (this is generally a surprise, this service is always overprice abroad), the pool is clean, an animator appeared at the end of the vacation, every day wonderful musical accompaniment by the pool and in the restaurant - for this special respect! The music is terrible all along the coast, and here is honey for the ears. One of the disadvantages is that the elevator breaks down periodically, but 2 out of 5 are running, as the rest will run, I think the problem will not be relevant. The renovation is cool designer, the furniture is comfortable, the bed linen is excellent, water is brought to the room daily, if there is not enough, you can ask at the reception. Another of the disadvantages is that for some reason the water in the taps is rusty, it does not interfere with living, but the plumbing seems to be going bad soon, and the Internet was good in the room at first, and then stopped catching, in the lobby at the reception it catches well.
