Many who have visited the Maldives write that these are paradisiacal islands. It's possible if you're vacationing at a luxury resort. We were vacationing on Diffusha Island. Unfortunately, the locals don't care about the cleanliness of the island. There's trash everywhere. In general, it's a good island (with beautiful flora and fauna), which can be traversed in 2 hours. There are two beaches on it. First : shallow water and you 'll have to go deep . Fish swim in the seaweed not far from the shore. There are few people. It's a little dirty (algae, leaves, leftovers). The second one: you don't have to go far to swim. A lot of people. It's clean because it's being cleaned. We stayed at the Isla Dhiffushi Hotel. Advantages + Not big, cozy + The room is clean + Friendly staff + there is air conditioning, hairdryer, safe Cons the monotonous menu is not on the first coastline the inability to open the curtains, as the room was on the ground floor and the Windows faced the courtyard (where the staff walked) Lack of cosmetic kit (shampoo, soap...)
It's not the first time in the Maldives, it's clear that it's not a resort, but it's the first time in such a smelly barn!
Dirty, stinking, food is a separate quest. One cook is worth a lot, unwashed in dirty clothes, always complaining about something. In short , it 's creepy . Everything is bad in this hotel. Don't believe the good reviews, the tour operators probably write. If you want to spoil your vacation, go to Isla Def.
I had to move . There are cool hotels on the island, these are Stone and Sky
Checked personally .
Good luck to all
