Dirt and mold!!! Furniture and plumbing are broken. The horror is terrible 🤢
Those photos on the website were probably taken when the hotel was just opening, and then in their suite... Do not risk your health! Black mold ruins the body... And she's up to the ceiling....
A modest hotel in the historic Avlobar district. The Internet is good, a bed and a shower will be provided for you. The guests and the refrigerator are a bit noisy. But there are many attractions within walking distance. And a subway with an exchange and a SIM card.
We didn't like the hotel. The room was given a small one, and the most unpleasant thing was smelly. The toilet didn't just smell, it stank. There are no windows in the room.
The toilet door is broken, there is no soap, etc. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.
It was just terrible. We paid for the accommodation in advance. We arrived at the time of check-in (14:00), closed. The phone number is not available from the app. From the maps too. After 10 minutes, they started knocking on the door, and a girl living in the hotel opened it. She said that no one comes here, only cleaning in the morning. They called the number indicated at the reception. The administrator arrived at 14:45. He took us to a room of about 7 squares (as booked), but there was no double bed, no window, and even more so there was no view of the hill (as indicated in the booking). The light in the room was turned on in the common corridor. There was a smell of old age. There were other people's things everywhere. It was terribly dusty and dirty. The bathroom is shared, although this was not indicated in the booking. There was a pile of dirty linen and towels on the bathroom floor. It was very dirty everywhere. While we were recovering from what we saw, we noticed that there was no administrator. They called him, he left. When we told him about the dirt and other people's things in the closet (including socks, underpants and empty alcohol bottles), he was very surprised. But not to the fact that it's lying there, but to the fact that the closet is open!
He returned about 10 minutes later. They refused to relocate us, they say, we have such prices, what else do you want. We showed him the photos in the application, where other rooms were performed, everything was clean and tidy. To which the answer was that these were old photos, and in general they are not in OneTwoTrip. We started calling the owner of the hotel. He said that the hotel is old, what do you want, and in general we have the price of a hostel.
I wonder how the presence of dirt and other people's things affects the construction period of the building?
They agreed to relocate us only for an additional fee. But 4,200rubles for 3 nights in such a hotel is already a lot. Because a week before we were staying in another Tbilisi hotel, cheaper, and with good conditions. They didn't want to return the money either. We called the police. After about 5 minutes, they changed their mind and moved us to another room, where there were no other people's things, but it was dirty and smelled of mold and sewage. There was a spider in the bathroom and there was no cold water. But they came and did it. The TV didn't work, they promised to fix it, but they never did. We canceled the police. Linen and towels are no longer white and with different stains. There are streaks on the walls too. There is a window, but it opens into the communal garden, as if it were a makauto. The carpet has never been cleaned. It's funny that they cleaned up there before we moved in. Only there was someone else's long hair everywhere, and there was garbage on the floor. We stayed there for three nights, and it was the nastiest three nights of my life. It was unpleasant to even stand in the room, not to sleep, wash or eat. We ate in the garden because the room stank terribly. And they walked around the room in shoes, because dirt, crumbs and leftovers from the carpet immediately stuck to their feet. It is a pity that OneTwoTrip could not solve our problem in any way when we called them, but only sent a request for a refund. After such calls, access to reservations at such hotels should be blocked forever, unless you check the accuracy of the information provided by the hotels
A few more little things in the form of cold in the room, a double bed is two single beds pushed together, the hair dryer did not work in the room, but lay at the reception (if I may say so) another hair dryer that dried worse than an air conditioner for heating. But then the hair dryer disappeared and I walked with wet hair for two days at +12
The first four photos are the original room and the shared bathroom. The last two are the room we were moved to
NEVER COME HERE!
Arriving at 8 pm, I came across a locked door. I sat at the closed door for more than an hour, no one answered the phone specified in the booking. The residents who returned from a walk helped, let them into the hall, and gave them the phone number of the owner of another hotel from which they were moved to Isakiy due to the lack of places in the hotel where they had reserved seats. After 30-40 minutes, a person came and checked into the room. The number had nothing to do with the photo on the website, but it was all the same after a day on the road. I just wanted to lie down and fall asleep. A few days later, the light in the room went out, which was critical in the practical absence of a window. The electrician who came found that the wires were shortening and repaired the wiring for two hours. I have read thanks to him for that. But after the repair, the entire floor was covered with concrete dust. As for cleaning, there is none at all. During the 5 days of stay, no one went to the room of the bottom at all.
I want to tell you about my experience of staying at the Isaka Hotel, which I do not recommend anyone to repeat.
Yesterday, upon check-in, the hotel administrator asked to cancel the booking at the booking office, because they have a very large commission. We agreed without a second thought and made the payment in cash (yes, there is a terminal there, but only cash payment) for all 15 days of stay. We regretted the cancellation and payment very much and very soon, but more on that below.
They settled us in room 7, right next to the reception. Immediately, a not very pleasant smell (somewhat similar to cigarettes) rushed into my nose, which did not disappear after airing. Dirty walls are streaked, furniture from the USSR, the room is poorly heated, cold drags from the room from a separate exit to the street. Gritting our teeth, we decided to stay, as the situation is not the best with free hotels right now.
In the evening, it turned out that the shower cabin was leaking very much in the room and all the water from the bathroom was flowing into the room. Apparently it has been flowing for months, since we found mold under the wallpaper that had moved away due to moisture. But the reason for the bad smell in the room immediately became clear - DAMPNESS. And a little more about the wallpaper in the place where the water flowed out. There is an outlet there and it departs from the wall along with the wallpaper. Is it safe, I don't think?
We called the receptionist in the evening and asked them to send someone to clean up the flood in the room. To which they received the answer: "There is no one, everyone has left. Look for a rag in the kitchen." We searched, we didn't find it, we put it away with napkins.
The next day, we tried to negotiate a refund with the administrator and leave for another hotel, but we were refused a refund. We offered to leave them money for their stay at the hotel + pay GEL 100 on top for the penalty. I still do not understand why it is impossible to return the remaining money deposited yesterday in cash.... But we were offered to change the awl for soap and move to another hotel with very dubious reviews.
We said goodbye to the owners without returning the money. We won't be impoverished, but they definitely won't bring them happiness. Yes, and to argue with scammers
