Irene is one of the best hotels in Pitsunda and the prices for accommodation are very reasonable! In July 2017, I vacationed there with my wife and two children (accommodation is free for children under two years old). We really liked the hotel and are going there again this summer.
The territory of the hotel is quite large, perfectly maintained, many different trees and plantings (it is nice to sit on a bench surrounded by large pines). There is a playground, which is always full of children in the morning, everyone is playing with each other, having fun. An animator also works with children. Next to the playground there is a cafe-bar with its own veranda. In addition to drinks, they cook a very tasty barbecue. The entire territory of the hotel is guarded around the clock, video surveillance is conducted, there is its own parking lot - you feel completely safe. Wi-Fi in the hotel catches everywhere, in rooms from the 3rd floor and above it is bad (but in the corridors it is normal).
The food is excellent. The buffet. Varied and healthy cuisine every day. They cook right at home, it will be difficult to follow a diet))
The rooms in the hotel are also very comfortable and clean. Wet cleaning is done every day, the linen was changed every three days. For small children, a playpen bed is immediately offered, and for older children, a euro pad. Very nice girls work at the reception, friendly and helpful. The staff is very good. You can sign up for any tour at the reception, the prices are almost the same everywhere. There you can also book a transfer to the airport (or railway).
The beach is close (150 meters), pebbly, well-groomed, sparsely populated, equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers. The passage to the sea is through a park pine grove. The air is just super! In general, we were very satisfied.

We had a vacation in July 2018 with a family with children, the youngest was 9 years old at that time. I really liked it, it's quite comfortable. Almost everything was fine.

A good hotel, but not worth the money that is required for it! We stayed in a suite.The sofa is old with a very dirty mattress, the air conditioner did not work, the shower stall is old with mold, and the maid cleaned very badly, get off! We stayed without food for several days, then we were told that they would extend the reservation only with food, but we need to pay an additional 5,500 per day for food.What? Are you going to serve lobsters there? According to the reviews of other vacationers, the food is delicious, but not the same amount of money to give! The girls at the reception are all very polite and friendly, thank them for that! The most memorable thing is the territory at the hotel, it is very beautiful, it is pleasant to walk in the evening, animation for children and adults every day, so-so, but at least something. Convenient access from the hotel to the beach, but sun beds for 100 rubles, and then on the beach for 25! In principle, I liked everything, but we will not go any more, since the price and quality do not match!!!!

The hotel is relatively new with simple finishes and low ceilings. The rooms are clean enough. Nice beds, white linen, beach towels. The rooms are cleaned. Good location, away from the center, you can walk in 10 minutes. There is a shared beach with a dozen umbrellas nearby.
It feels like they are saving on everything. There are no hoods in the bathrooms. On the upper floor, the entrance to the bathroom is through the corridor. There is no elevator. WiFi is only available up to the 3rd floor. The buffet is the usual table food to choose from, but you can eat. Meals in the basement are strictly by the hour. Sometimes not all residents are accommodated in the dining room, queues form. Instead of sun beds, they give some kind of synthetic folding beach bags that smell terrible.
