The horse racing racetrack in Cholpon-Ata is located in a picturesque place on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. It is spacious, designed for 10 thousand people. It occupies an area of 25 hectares. Horse racing, cock-fighting competitions, and various exhibitions are held. The largest event held at the hippodrome is the World Nomad Games.
