It's a good hotel, it costs 100% for its 3 rooms. Some rooms are noticeably "tired", but generally cozy, daily cleaning. Standard Thai breakfasts: pancakes, fruits, vegetables, rice, sausage cuts, juices. Helpful staff. The cleanest beach with crisp (singing) sand and a warm, gentle sea. Very convenient location of the hotel, near a cafe with friendly staff, nearby (5 minutes on foot) a street with a market, cafes and massage parlors. The beach is quite quiet (sun beds and umbrellas are in 1 row, without piles), there are not many people, as this is practically the end of the beach. Local vendors offer all sorts of things on the beach, from bags and belts made of crocodile and python to local fruits with coconut. We lived on the third floor of a hotel with a view of the pool and the sea, and there was a tired air conditioner in the room, dripping periodically. Bed linen and towels were changed every day, and when we left a tip (20 baht), we were given animal figurines and drinking water. But apparently, we drank too much sea water, and on the third day we caught an infection (we stayed in the room for a couple of days). They drank only bottled water, even brushed their teeth and washed their faces with drinking water, wiped their hands and cutlery with wet wipes. In general, I liked my stay at the hotel, you can stop by and not go anywhere on excursions, stay on the territory of the hotel, as the sea is wonderful. A statue of a large Buddha is visible from the dining room.

It's a very cozy place! There are only 3 floors, respectively, there are few guests at a time. ps well, and a very personal opinion: he lived in room 113 on the 1st floor, he has a secret: he has a room like a glazed veranda, and it overlooks Lake Karon))) For those who like solitude in the evening, that's the thing! let the view go to the service passage / utility block (1.5 meters wide), but beyond that are bushes with a cloud of wildlife, which is pleasant to watch) and then the same path around the lake))) high!

Although the hotel is actually located in a good location and on the shores of the beautiful Karon beach. The breakfasts are typical for Thailand, there was just enough to have a snack in the morning, they even gave mangoes. The furniture in the hotel is very old, and when you open the drawer, it falls off, but this is not the worst thing that can overshadow a vacation. It is very pleasant to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the sea. We ran barefoot from the hotel to the sea. Of course, all pleasant emotions were spoiled by the intestine.

I stayed at the In On The Beach Hotel in Phuket, Karon Beach in December 2024.
I would rate it as a good 3* considering Thailand. There are pros and cons. But there are fewer disadvantages, so I recommend the hotel for a relaxing stay.
I'll start with the pros.
1. Excellent location. It stands off the road, there is no noise and exhaust from cars. It is located on the right side of the beach, where it is no longer so crowded, there are many sun beds with umbrellas. 200 baht per day. You leave the hotel and you're already on the beach, no need to cross the road or walk through noisy narrow streets.
2. You can sit on your litter on the green lawn in front of the sandy beach area under the shade of large trees.
3. Beyond the lake, 500 meters along the road along the beach, there are many cafes, makashnits, a clothing market, a 7/11 supermarket, fruit stalls, massage parlors, etc. There is also an exchange at the first intersection, which has always had the best dollar exchange rate.
4. Wide and long beach with clean, crisp sand. A clean seabed with a gentle entrance, without shells, corals and algae. Clear azure water. There are large stones only in the extreme areas of the beach on the right and left. But it's kind of fun to climb them.
5. A quiet, peaceful hotel, no animation and loud music (maybe this is a minus for someone).
6. A kind, smiling hostess who often attends the reception. They babysit the small children of the vacationers while the parents leave the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. They respond quickly to our problems if they arise. There was no light bulb in the sconce, they immediately brought it and screwed it in. There was no hot water in the shower when checking in. They told me about it at the reception, they immediately came and set it up.
7. Spacious room on the 2nd floor with lake views. Cleaning every day. Linen change every other day. The linen is always clean, without holes or stains, and the quality is pleasant. The room has a small clean refrigerator, hairdryer, safe, TV with one Russian channel. Air conditioning and ceiling fan. A large wardrobe with a lot of hangers (30 pieces!). The bed was wide, but the mattress was too hard for us, it felt like you were sleeping on planks. Comfortable pillows for 2 pieces. Other furniture includes bedside tables, two armchairs, a table, a cupboard with necessary utensils: plates, glasses, glasses, tea mugs, knives, forks and spoons, a can opener, a slicer. A teapot and a container in which bags of sugar, tea, and instant coffee were replenished. Every day, 2 bottles of 0.5 liters of water were placed in the room. There is a spacious bathroom with a shower stall, washbasin and toilet. The tiles and plumbing are clean. There are 2 dispensers of shampoo and gel in the shower stall. There is liquid soap in a bottle and pieces of soap, cotton pads and sticks, paper napkins near the washbasin. On the 1st and 2nd floors, the rooms have balconies with a table, armchairs and a clothes dryer.
8. A small clean pool with sun beds. It was possible to hide by the pool when there was a strong wind on the beach.
9. Large beach towels can be taken at the reception every day, clean and dry.
10. Clean dining room. No queues, with enough dishes and free tables. The staff immediately cleans the dirty empty dishes. The breakfasts are modest, no frills, monotonous. Fruits included watermelon, dragon fruit, pineapple, and papaya.
11. Upon check-in, there is an announcement at the reception that you need to leave a deposit (deposit) of 500 baht or $ 20, which is refunded upon check-out if nothing has been damaged. Two more couples were staying with us. We all said we'd give it to you when we exchanged the money. But the next day, no one asked us for a deposit, and we didn't offer it ourselves.
Now there are disadvantages that did not critically affect our vacation.
1. Not all rooms are the same as we found them. The two couples who came with us moved into rooms on the 1st floor with windows to the backyard and a landfill. According to their stories, the room had mold and a terrible smell. The room was not cleaned. They refused to move in, and were given rooms on the 3rd floor. They were satisfied. But the rooms on the 3rd floor have no balconies, which is not mentioned in the description of the hotel.
2. On the 1st floor, with balconies to the courtyard to the pool, families with small children who often scream live. And when they're moody or sick, they cry incessantly almost all night. Therefore, I think it's better to ask for rooms with lake views. It's quiet, peaceful, you can't hear the noise of people by the pool.
3. The bed linen was good. But towels used to be given with holes and torn, but at the same time snow-white clean. We didn't pay attention to it, because they were changed daily.
4. The furniture in the room is "tired". It's scratched somewhere, there's no handle, doors don't close properly and drawers slide out.
5. In our room in the evening, there was a noise behind the closet, some kind of crunch. When we pointed our phone at it, we realized that it was a mouse that had stolen a bag of breadsticks from our table and was crunching them there. We went to the reception again and told them about it. They asked for a mop with a long stick. Immediately, the employee came to our room, took out this package with a stick, swept up the remains of the chopsticks. I was afraid to go to bed, what if she climbs on the bed? But they reassured us that they would sort everything out tomorrow morning. And when we returned from the beach the next day, we saw Dostochka with something under the bed, probably poison. The food began to be put away in the refrigerator and in the cupboard. We haven't seen or heard from anyone else.
6. While staying at the hotel, I had a birthday with an anniversary date. Upon check-in, the receptionist noticed this on her passport and said that the anniversary was beautiful. But no one congratulated me on my birthday from the hotel. Of course, this is not a mandatory option, but I would be pleased to receive some kind of compliment: a flower, fruit, drink or the like. But, alas...
I've been taking guided tours for several years on the phuket-tropic-tours website. Favorable prices, good discounts, easy communication, convenient payment. I advise you to take a boat trip to the islands of Racha and Coral. Tireless, close to the port, 25-30 minutes to the island by boat, snow-white sand, turquoise clear water. It's like I've been to the Maldives. And there is also an unusual and amazing rhinoceros bird that lives on Coral Island.

We had a rest from 5.03 to 17.03. Its biggest plus is its proximity to the sea. Breakfast is fine when you get used to it. The rooms are the freshest on the 3rd floor. 2 and 1 are already quite old. But the cleaning is good, with a daily change of linen and towels. We lived first on the 2nd floor in room 207, then a week later I was so shocked in the shower, it was the watering can and the mixer, it was very painful) and scary. They moved to the 1st floor by the pool. Of course, these rooms are the best to live in, it's just convenient! But since the 1st floor is visible, there was a smell in the toilet.
It's a 10-minute walk to the Caron center. It's very hard in the heat, it's normal in the evening. Massages, restaurants. I really liked the Russian restaurant, it's behind closed doors, and inside there is a candy bar. The borscht was served very tasty with black bread, bacon and sour cream))
Yes, compared to the whole of Caron, we had the least people, and that's great. In general, the hotel is a top for your money, the main thing is nearby!

The hotel is great!
Suitable for family holidays!
A minute walk from the beach. No one comes here from other parts, so it is always free and clean. Cleaning every day, breakfast in the room, Wi-Fi throughout. Near the hotel there are all shops, cafes and necessary shops, with adequate prices and good discounts. Free parking is available near the hotel. In the evenings, after 21, the territory is quiet, everyone either goes and leaves, or has a rest. You can go to the beach with your own music and dancing. For a peaceful rest, sit by the pool.
The rooms on the ground floor are more interesting, since everything is at your disposal everywhere at once.
Everyone is friendly and helps if necessary. There are vacant places, mostly foreigners are settling in.

Well, our trip has come to an end, and while my memories are fresh, I will write a review about the In on the beach 3* hotel.
The reviews are contradictory and once again I became convinced that very strange people write bad reviews, but about the hotel guests a little later.
The advantages, and there are objectively more of them:
1. The location is closer to the edge of Karon, silence, grace, no cars, mopeds and crowds of tourists, a kind of oasis in Thai chaos. The first line, we went to the beach immediately in a swimsuit and barefoot, 20 meters.
2. A cozy courtyard with vegetation, the pool is clean (but quite heavily chlorinated), there are a lot of sun loungers by the pool.
3. We got room 301 on the ground floor, with a view of the pool immediately in the middle, entrance through the balcony, large bed, bedside tables, mirror in the wall, wardrobe, plasma TV, safe, large refrigerator, bathroom, shower. Everything is old, of course, but everything is working, including plumbing, and there is always hot water. Surprisingly, there were no crawling insects in the room. There are holes in the linen/towels, but I don't see it as a disaster, everything is clean. The cleaning is of high quality every day and every day they sculpted amazing figures out of towels, just a work of art! She left tips every day, and in the end, the cleaning lady gave the boy Russian chocolate. He made an already gorgeous vacation even more positive with his towel art. 😍
4. Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., excellent! Omelet, eggs, sausage, bacon, sausages, vegetables, nuggets, something else fried in the assortment of chicken, pancakes with toppings, breakfast cereals, 2 types of fruits (watermelon every day and alternating dragon, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, oranges). Tea/coffee is not delicious. Orange juice, as it seemed to us, is natural. The toaster. In general, it's hard to go hungry.
5. Beach towels are provided every day
6. Every day they put 2 0.5 bottles of water (even if the old ones are not open yet), tea, coffee, dry cream, sugar. There is also a kettle, dishes, and appliances in the room. There is a microwave at the reception.
7. There are very few people on the beach compared to the center of Karon. Wonderful singing sand, just an incredible tactile pleasure to touch the sand. 2 deck chairs per day 200 baht.
There are rocks at the very end of the beach, where you can swim with a mask, colorful fish are swimming, crabs are roaming, a Thai fisherman pulled out an octopus 70 centimeters in front of us. Interesting.
8. Very good sound insulation in the rooms
Of the cons:
1. There are small mosquitoes in the room, but I took a raptor with me and the reception said they would treat mosquitoes every day.
2. Very questionable tap water, sometimes it runs straight brown, it's better not to brush your teeth ...
3. About the numerous reviews about diarrhea and vomiting... In general, our whole company and everyone we talked to were vomiting and crying, but I can't say that the hotel is to blame for this... Our friends were vacationing in Ramada 4*, the situation is the same there. In general, sanitation in Southeast Asia is bad and our stomachs are not adapted. You can get poisoned anywhere and the hotel has nothing to do with it... It is better to have smecta and loperamide with you and buy a local miracle remedy "white flying rabbit"
About the contingent:
Several older Europeans, and 90% Russians... And where ours are, there's swearing/shit and shitty music... Some people consider it their duty to cockroach a speaker to the other side of the world and turn on disgusting pop music from the balcony... Someone is swearing because of the noise by the pool, someone is hysterical because of a hole in a towel ...
Separately, I would like to tell you about a couple of middle-aged gopnik from the suburbs... Always drunk, they willingly got acquainted with vacationers, immediately fantasizing and telling lies about what millionaires they were and that they "DROVE" a Lexus for 7 million, rented 3 apartments and always rested exclusively in a 5-star luhari, and then the three-piece just so happened... Then they try to come to you for free, so as not to buy booze, during the day there are no victims yet, to whom they can get hooked on the ear, they drink the cheapest beer in a large container, and in the evening they are looking for someone to drink for free... That's horrible... For 3 days we politely tried to avoid them, then we had to send them to their destination in their language...
But again, this is not a disadvantage of the hotel, you can run into this anywhere.
About Phuket and prices:
To eat - prices in simple cafes and restaurants are almost the same, rice with seafood costs 150 baht on average, dorado / sea bass / shrimp plate 350 per fish, padtai 100-150, delicious tom yam has not been found - from 170 to 250 per serving, smoothies 60-80, ice cream, which they make 80 with you, song som 155 rum is small to 470 liters (by the way, in duty free on departure a liter costs 420 baht), Chang beer is 149 baht for a spike of 4 cans 0.33.
Sim cards for tourists range from 400 to 700 baht, but there is Wi-Fi everywhere, we did not buy it.
On 7/11, there is a very large selection of ready-made food, everything will be warmed up with you, a lot of people eat there, we wanted to try it every day, but we never got there, we ate in a cafe. We only tried dumplings, a serving of 5 pieces with sauce with different fillings is 32-37 baht, very tasty.
Mango Cambodia 40-50 baht, Thai 80, mangosteen 180, passion fruit 100. Quite expensive... The most expensive green mango is 100 baht, but believe me, it's worth it, it's very tasty!!!
Excursions
Tip: since you are 99.9% likely to have diarrhea in the first few days, do not buy or book in advance, all excursions are non-refundable. All the bloggers and Russian groups selling excursions are taking you into their lap, saying there are few places, keep up. You'll make it in time, don't worry and don't risk losing money. And payment to Russian agents takes place in rubles at a very unprofitable exchange rate, for example, a popular Vk group, I won't write the name - in baht, the price for Phi Phi 2 days is 5000 baht, you're like Wow, great price tag!!! But they don't have an office, payment is only by transfer to a card with 100% prepayment, no refund, and 16180 rubles, which is very much not 5,000 baht, but in no other way ...
The streets are full of travel agency offices where 100% of the same excursions are sold for cash baht on any day convenient for you. Ask for a discount.
We went to James Bond 1300 baht, Coral Island and Racha 1000 baht. We had tourists with us who bought in Russian groups, and their price tag was at least 300 baht higher.
Old dollars are accepted without problems. I changed it in 1996, one exchanger offered a lower exchange rate, I went to the second one, they took it there without any problems.

I chose the hotel simply based on its location and budget price.
I didn't expect that we would be so lucky with the room, 112 on the third floor.
The room is clean, more than a decent repair for a threesome.

I rarely leave reviews, I come on vacation to relax, swim, and not sit in the room. But I decided to write a review about this hotel, because staying there is a danger to your health and can ruin your entire vacation experience.
As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were checked in on the ground floor next to the staff room. The room was terrible, there were tiles on the floor, dirt, mosquitoes, a trash can outside the window, fans, the road, and the worst part smelled eerily of mold. I didn't understand how we could be given such a room, because we arrived at this hotel for 11 nights. We immediately asked the reception to change our room.
The next day, they changed our room and gave us a room on the third floor, the windows faced the road and the river sewer, we again, very politely, asked to change the room, but this time we were refused, citing the fact that there were no available rooms and the nearest one would be free in 6 days (This turned out to be untrue, we personally we saw how someone was evicted every day).
Now let's talk about the sewage river nearby. Our entire company of four people was poisoned in this hotel. I had to activate my insurance, my blood was taken and an intestinal infection was confirmed. It is dangerous to have breakfast in this hotel, because the water in the hotel stinks of sewage. The toilet in our room had no ventilation and it also smelled terribly of sewage. The water in the shower and from the tap stank of sewage.
I do not recommend this hotel for recreation, even though it is located on the first line. Health comes first and being sick on vacation is very unpleasant.

The hotel is located right by Karon beach, you can go swimming right from the room in bathing accessories, but there is almost no greenery around the hotel. I stayed at this hotel from April 11 to April 21, 2024. The main advantage for me is a relaxing stay and the location of the hotel.And he justified himself, except for the last day, when local vacationers stopped by and did not let everyone sleep until 4 a.m. Many thanks to the owner of the hotel for the festive free New Year's dinner. Otherwise, everything is there: even a small kitchen with dishes. Cleaning is daily, the pool is clean. If it works out, I will definitely come back!!!
