I liked the hotel. The rooms are small, but very clean. There are slippers, a dental kit. Bathroom accessories are replenished daily. Cleaning, towel change is also daily. The linen and towels are snow-white. There is a kettle in the room. Drinking water, coffee, cream, tea, sugar - everything is replenished as it is spent. The breakfasts are good. It was always hot: omelette, French fries, mushrooms, cheese sticks, onion rings. Boiled eggs. Croissants. There are 3 types of cheese. Sausage. Hummus. Olives, olives. There are 2 types of yoghurts. Jam, honey, fruit in syrup. Fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs. Tea, coffee, juice. Some fruits: oranges, apples, kiwis. The reception staff is fluent in English. They don't speak Russian. All very nice people, very pleasant, both in the dining room and at the reception. The breakfast restaurant turns into a pub in the evenings. The food is delicious, and the prices, like everywhere else in Istanbul, are not cheap, but also not exorbitant. Lower than in the establishments around. There is a beer for those who are interested. The pub does not affect the life of the hotel in any way.

Excellent location of the hotel, close to many attractions, shops, cafes. The staff is very friendly and helpful, quick check-in. The rooms are small, but neat, clean, and have everything you need in the room. Cleaning is carried out every day, water, coffee, tea, sugar, detergents are renewed. We missed the small refrigerator a bit. Our rooms had a view of the courtyard, but it didn't bother us, since we hardly ever visited the room, and in the morning and evening it was a plus, since the hotel is located on the street with a tram. We will be happy to stop again.

We stayed here in early April. It was 8-15 degrees outside. The radiator was turned on, the room was very cozy. The location of the hotel is perfect, the sights are nearby. You can take a walk before lunch, eat, relax in your room and go the other way with fresh energy)))) Cleaned every day, very clean. Shampoo, conditioner, body balm in bottles, not in a dispenser. The disadvantage is there is no shower cap))). The plumbing is working fine. The mattress seemed too soft for me, but I think most of them will be fine. We had room 501, a window on the exit from the subway, it was quiet in the evening and at night, but we were not there during the day. I liked the breakfasts. For three stars, it's very good. Buffet from 7.30 to 10.30. Eggs in various forms, vegetables, sweet and unsweetened yogurt, some pastries, cereals, tea, coffee, milk, juices, fruits, several types of cheese, sausages. Maybe someone won't have enough small fridge, especially in the heat.

The hotel is very decent, breakfasts, good mattresses and beds, plumbing, very clean.there is a kettle, coffee, tea, cups, the staff is very friendly, unobtrusive, elevator. The metro station and Marmara are behind the house, there's an elevator to the 9th floor, so you can't hear anything. If T is a stop on the Asian side, if A is on the other side, then one stop and transfer to the airport line.Gulhane Park is nearby, the tram stop is nearby, the cafes are good, tasty and inexpensive, oddly enough, they are also nearby. The hotel has a Red River pub on the ground floor.

Great hotel. The rooms are small but very clean. Bed linen and towels are changed daily. Cleaning for 5+. The breakfasts are wonderful, for every taste. The staff is helpful and friendly. Very good location of the hotel: near tram stops, behind the hotel is the Marmaraya station, a 5-minute walk from the ferry stations and Galata Bridge, opposite Gulhane Park

Excellent value for money and a +100 rating for the perfect location and staff. A very cozy place and delicious breakfasts overlooking the road, where once there were kolestnits or janissaries, and now the T1 tram, popular with tourists, passes. Minus the problems with water - it often did not leave on its own after a shower, but magical fairy maids (sometimes even speaking Russian) during the daily cleaning we solved this issue. After check-out, you can leave your luggage and walk without it to the plane - there is a special place for luggage at the hotel.

the location of the hotel is good, for the first time in Istanbul it is super fashionable to say. It is located on a noisy street with the T1 tram stop almost at the exit of the hotel, which is convenient in principle) The breakfasts were good, there was nothing to be heard from the street in the room on the fifth floor, and they could sleep peacefully at night. The only thing leaking was the shower stall, then the whole floor was wet. The hair dryer dries the hair very slowly (The size of the room is small, of course, but that's how we just slept there and went for a walk again.

The room is clean, daily cleaning; breakfast at the red river bar; small selection of dishes, but everything is delicious and satisfying. when checking in, they really asked for a room with two beds.. For several days, they only promised that tomorrow; as a result, they told me to move the day before.. But there was no point in moving things for one night.

The location is excellent, the whole old town can be reached on foot, near the train station and the marina. The breakfasts are very good for three stars. Our window looked out onto the tram, it was noisy when the window was open, but they didn't walk from midnight to 6, and they got enough sleep. The room has both a battery and an air conditioner. You can turn off the faucet on the battery if it's hot. Cleaning, change of towels and linen almost every day. Nice hotel!

We chose this hotel using the "poke" method. Last time I came to Istanbul, we lived on the next street, I liked the area. Overall impression: very pleasantly surprised. The level of service is just super for urban treshki. Well done to everyone, from the reception to the maids. Not a single comment. And the area, as I said, is very convenient for walking and logistics. There are incredibly many cafes and other delicious enticements. If there is an opportunity to come to Istanbul again, we will not choose another hotel. Good luck to you, Ilkay!

We rested at the Ilkay Hotel with my husband and daughter in October 2024. From the first minute we fell in love with the hotel, the area where it is located and the whole of Istanbul! The location is very convenient, in the heart of Istanbul. All the attractions are very close, the tram stop is nearby, it is easy to get to remote areas. The street where the hotel is located is very busy, there are many shops and cafes, everything is open until late at night, adding a special oriental flavor!!! The hotel staff is very polite and attentive, the rooms are modest but very clean, there are absolutely no foreign odors, cleaning and changing towels every day, bed linen every three days. The room is small, but very reasonably arranged, everything is convenient and comfortable. Water, tea, and coffee are replenished every day. There is a kettle, a safe. The windows of our room faced the street. The noise did not bother us, on the contrary, we were only glad that we could look at Istanbul at any time of the day. The breakfasts are excellent. They are very satisfying and varied. There are hot dishes. You eat so much that you have enough before dinner, which of course is very convenient and saves time if you want to see a lot in Istanbul. There is only one conclusion: a great hotel for a good price. Fans of intense travel programs, come here!!! The perfect combination of low price, comfort and convenience of location!!!

The hotel is excellent for this price and three stars. The entrance is through the neighboring hotel, the restaurant is downstairs. The breakfasts are normal, super for three. The rooms are clean and small, of course, but why spend time in a room in Istanbul?) Cleaning is regular. Bed linen is not changed in 4 days, but we did not need to. The neighbors are almost inaudible, it was important to us, it's a big plus! It's a little noisy outside, but what a vibe

For the first time in Istanbul, we chose this hotel and did not regret it. The location is very good: near Gulhane Park, within walking distance of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Galata Bridge, Bosphorus, Suleymaniye Mosque. Upon arrival, they asked for a quiet room, our wishes were taken into account (room 202, courtyard view) . In the morning we were woken up by the cries of seagulls, but otherwise complete peace. They don't speak Russian at the reception. The room is small. The room is clean, cozy, the battery is working, but somehow periodically. They weren't frozen, but it wasn't particularly warm either. There is no heated towel rail in the bathroom. In the room: slippers, hair dryer, shampoo-gel soap, kettle, cups, bring water, tea, coffee, sugar, milk powder. There is a safe, there is no refrigerator. They clean every day, change towels, make the bed. The beds are comfortable. Buffet breakfast in the bar on the ground floor: delicious, varied, there is always something hot, snacks, croissants, fruits. I will recommend the hotel to my friends.

A great hotel for the unassuming tourist. Location near the Gulhane tram stop. 5 minutes to Aksaray Station and Eminenyu Pier. 10 minutes to Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet. Getting to any point in Istanbul is easy. Breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10:30. We always went at 8, there was a full set of dishes. Vegetables, cheese, sausage, fruit, hot, honey, jams - enough for half a day. Room cleaning every day. Despite the fact that the windows of the room faced the street with the tram, I slept fine. I highly recommend the hotel if you need a good place to explore the city.

It's not bad, the windows of the rooms overlook the street where the trams run, there are very thin walls between the rooms, no sound insulation, and the furniture is not right, there is a bed in one room against the wall, and a TV on the other wall and you can hear what the neighbors are watching, you can't sleep

This is the second part of the Lalahan Hotel in Istanbul. Small, cozy. It is located on the street where the tram T1 goes. The audibility in the hotel is high, both from the street and from the neighbors. We had a 2-bed room facing the street perpendicular to the trams. Fortunately, they do not walk at night, but their dilinkan caused us emotion. The building opposite our windows was very close, no one lived there at that time, but we closed the windows just in case) The breakfasts in the cafe in the same building are simple, but we had enough for half a day. The hotel is clean. The staff is polite, friendly, but not Russian-speaking. A little English, gestures and everything is normal.

We had a rest in July 2023. I liked the hotel, the room was small but cozy. The windows overlook the street with the tram line, but the noise was not noticed. Cleaning every day, water was left in the room every time. The breakfast is wonderful, we went out at 8 a.m., in the restaurant under the hotel, hot food-eggs, sausages, puff croissants, cereals, vegetables, fruits, sweet cupcake, tea, coffee - we ate everything with pleasure and went for a walk all day with such a hearty breakfast. Of course, the best location is the hotel, 5-10 minutes from all the main attractions, while on a beautiful well-groomed street! There is a tram stop nearby, a 5-minute train station and a ferry to the islands. We have never regretted choosing this hotel.

I don't understand the bad reviews. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The most courteous staff, a nice room, excellent breakfasts. The filling of the room is better than in many 5* Antalya beach hotels: air conditioning, hairdryer, kettle, bathroom accessories and even slippers. The bed is comfortable, the mattress is new, the linen and towels are clean, new. I stayed in winter, in February, the room was warm. Daily cleaning service. I didn't even expect it to be so good. As for audibility, reading the reviews, you might think that thin walls, and you, are lying and envying the neighbors. But no. There is audibility, but only from the street, there is a tram running under the windows. But this is predictable if you look at the map before choosing a hotel. The location of the hotel is "never better". Everything is nearby: metro, tram, attractions and cafe shops. The hotel staff is always ready to help, prompt, and advise. I recommend the hotel.

Excellent budget hotel in the very center. There is everything you need. Of course, there are small disadvantages like an air conditioner blowing on the bed or some noises, but for such a price in such a place - it's gorgeous. The bed is comfortable, the linen is clean. They let me in at 5 in the morning without questions. Coffee and tea in the room, water is added every day.

I really liked the ilkay hotel. As we wrote earlier, ILKAY and LALAHAN are two hotels in one. They have combined corridors and an entrance to the hotel building itself. The rooms were cleaned every day, but at different times. Sometimes they could come at 10 o'clock in the morning, and sometimes later. There was no hearing from the neighbors, but the tram and the reading of "Namaz" could be heard a little from the street. The second was much worse, because every day at 4-5 in the morning I woke up because of these frightening howls. The hotel itself is cool! The hostesses are very friendly and helpful, but they speak only English. Our breakfasts took place in the cafe "Red River", you could get into it directly from the hotel without going outside. The breakfasts were quite varied, in general, they did not bother.

A hotel is a big word. As well as the service of pegasus who settle in it. There is no sound insulation, they moan in the rooms to hear everything, they walk along the corridors to hear, they rattle plates in the kitchen to hear. They do the cleaning when they want and may not clean up. I don't advise anyone. And don't take sightseeing tours from pegasus - it's a waste of money. Take individual tours, it's much cheaper and I show and tell better. They will show more and it will be cheaper. Example: A tour of Top Kapy, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, hippodrome square, German fountain, a walk along the Bosphorus costs $ 50 per person. At the same time, you will not be taken to Irinia and Gorem in the top caps (you will then have to buy a full ticket to visit them) A tour of the Bosphorus costs 25 rubles. Moreover, they have "restaurant dinners" with a maximum price of 20-40 liras per person. And everything else is free))) but you will be charged money. Don't get fooled. And take an individual transfer. Good luck to everyone.

No sound insulation!!! The feeling that the windows are always open! With this arrangement, there should be good windows, not aluminum ones with one glass. Even all the smells penetrated into the room through them, let alone the sounds! The furniture is old! You buy a tour to Lalahan from Pegasus, and they settle in Ilkai, like it's the same hotel. What are the 4 stars?! Where? The photos on the booking are lying specifically. The breakfasts are sooo modest, it's the same every day, only melons are made from fruits. The staff is friendly, yes.
