I stayed at this hotel using the Fortuna 5 system with my two daughters, 13 and 20 years old. We really liked the hotel. They gave me a great room with a balcony on the ground floor, with windows to the courtyard. Silence, beauty. I shook the pool on the roof, or rather there are two of them. The food is good and varied. The room service is also good. Water and hygiene products were replenished daily, and two towels per person were changed daily. Excellent service in the bar and restaurant. In general, we were very pleased with the hotel!!!

The shopping center consists of a courtyard with a fountain area, surrounded by shops, there is an ATM where you can exchange dollars for Egyptian pounds. We found a good store here, the seller Ali speaks Russian well, you can choose a lot of things for yourself and for gifts (souvenirs, teas, perfumes), does not impose himself, makes discounts, at first we went everywhere but then bought from him, I recommend.

4 stars- only for the kitchen. Although if we talk only about the kitchen, then the rating is minus one HUNDRED!!! For the first time in many visits to Egypt, we met SUCH food in the top five! But within walking distance of the Old Town, we had to eat freshly cooked fish there, so there is no silver lining ... We also met for the first time such a friendly and diligent hotel staff that we felt like visiting friends! Thanks a lot to Anya and Ahmed, we will probably always remember them - they left such a pleasant impression on us! And our maid is so decorous, polite, diligent, they didn't always leave tips for him, but somehow, even without them, everything was as if he cleaned, rearranged, twisted amazing figures for friends!!! With a smile, without fuss! And also - a very decent SPA! We have never had such a massage anywhere. At home, in fitness, it's not like that! Sports massage, but that's not it! After 5 sessions- a hammam as a gift, with peeling, massage - everything is as it should be! Animation- every day, but 10 of the 15 days were a little sick, but I had to go to St. Petersburg to eat, it was not up to her, but we saw the animators every day, their costumes are beautiful, and in the lobby it always starts at 8-9, we passed by, always different performances, here too- on top! If it wasn't for the kitchen.... It seems that the cooks simply spoiled beef, chicken, fish ... terrible tasteless tomatoes, peppers, all kinds of cabbage.... The eggs are normal. So they were eaten in the morning. Cakes-cakes are impossible! Puff pastry- of all kinds- the feeling that they are always the day before yesterday. The only thing that was even warm was croissants in the morning. Dates, bananas, pomegranates, apples, melons, oranges were edible. Although it is, of course, an individual matter regarding food. But it's better to be prepared ....

We had a rest in Il Mercato from December 5 to December 12, 2023. Much has already been written in previous reviews, so I will highlight only the main ones. Photos are also attached (hotel, room, beach, old town) Pros: Italian Renaissance architecture, the lobby of the hotel looks just great; spacious and comfortable rooms (local plumbing problems are possible); fast and stable wi-fi throughout the building; friendly and helpful reception staff (changed rooms, according to our request was given a room with access to the back of the building without any problems, it is much quieter there, less sun and mosquitoes, they also suggested currency exchange and other minor issues); a wonderful hostess Anna, who will always help and prompt you, will do everything for a comfortable stay for each guest, my low bow; a large and convenient restaurant, a variety of dishes, service in the restaurant (drinks are brought, quickly removed from the tables, there are always a lot of empty tables); excellent room cleaning and towel figures every day; a beautiful sandy beach with a gentle sunset and almost complete absence of wind Bella Vita (taken to this beach since October 2023, round-trip transfer every hour), wonderful animation in the hotel, the guys and girls are really great fellows, they work with their hearts and get high themselves; close to the beach is the old town with a gorgeous mosque, waterfalls and numerous shopping malls; proximity to the hotel is a low-price Mango Market store (not advertising! but there are many things much cheaper than in the old town) and pharmacies with Russian-speaking staff; a good swimming pool on the roof of the building. Of the cons: after all, the choice of dishes in the restaurant is limited, especially for breakfast. It is generally delicious, but mashed potatoes are cooked strangely; there are few fish dishes, side dishes and various drinks (only water, juices, tea and coffee), but fruits and cakes are in large quantities and variety. According to nutrition, there is definitely a place to grow (I compare it with Turkey), although we did not go hungry and did not experience stomach problems. Also, I will take mosquitoes in the room to the cons, they fly, reptiles, even through the curtains, but they did not interfere with sleeping much. For some, the second line will also be a disadvantage, since it is a long walk to the beach or the old town, but a transfer every hour solves this problem. Well, a hotel for a quiet, relaxing holiday, not here for party-goers. In general, we liked the hotel and the rest in it very much, there is a desire to return (if there is the same beach and an adequate price for tours). I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel staff and wish more tourists (when we were there, the hotel was visually filled by 50 percent). Thank you for your attention to the review :)

Il Mercato is no longer the same… The street is empty, even at the height of the season in the evening. But only here we found clothing stores (as many as 3!))) with fixed prices. I liked the quality of the cotton. But the loop at the hotel noticed a small hole on one T-shirt, the next day they went and returned it! With a receipt.

Up to 90% of boutiques are closed. Locks are hanging everywhere. Before Covid-19, there were about 20 shops. It's good that it's stronger here, the coating and finishing of the walls were done at one time, which cannot be said about the opposite side of the street. There are no people either.

Уважаемые, в Dive shop не ходить! Приехали по отзыву и мало того, что переплатили, так еще и продавец недобросовестный. Пол часа торговался, хотя мы сами уходили и сказали нет спасибо, потом добежал до такси за нами и согласился. По приезду в отель обнаружили, что подсунул нам не ту маску, а дешевую! Мы знали, что тут нельзя верить никому, но Джордж переплюнул всех египтян, что нам повстречались в Каире и Шарме! На первой фотке маска которую мы хотели, на второй ту что подсунул. Мы выбирали такую же как наша только синию, а по итогу нам дали синию( которая была у него дешевле той что хотели на 20$ из за количества клапанов и застежек). Возвращаться мы не будем, но может убережем других!

We had a family vacation in February 2024. It's not 5 stars. The hotel is requesting renovation. The food is not varied, but delicious. The hotel has almost no territory of its own. The staff is friendly. If the price is appropriate, then take it , in general, not a bad hotel.

Отель ужасный, это то место,куда ехать не нужно, ресторан под камерами, за Вами будут следить, чтобы лишнего не взяли, сумки нужно оставлять на входе, выносить из ресторана ничего нельзя,до моря очень далеко, автобус полный и если не успели,только такси,пиво наливают в стаканы 50 гр и его никогда нет, потому что сотрудники его продают, весь алкоголь разбавлен.

В целом конечно место неплохое...Но! Днём всё как вымерло, ничего не работает (кроме Vodafon и Macdonald). Есть так магазин Bahus торгующий спиртным и всё! Вечером тоже...особо делать нечего. Все тусоваться едут в Нааму или Сохо. Но в общем чисто, безлюдно, скучно.
