Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean, cozy, rooms are clean, room cleaning and towel change every day. There are a lot of reviews about dampness in the rooms and an unpleasant smell, there is such a thing, but it did not spoil the rest in any way, this is Phuket) there's high humidity everywhere, so you shouldn't pay attention to it at all, for me a hotel room is just to spend the night, everything else is to enjoy nature, the sea, architecture, food, etc.
The beach is clean, the sea is amazing, the food is not delicious everywhere, but you need to know the places where they cook heartily and with love.
At the hotel, it is better to check into the building ,,With,, there are good views, but it takes a long time to get to the exit of the hotel, you will have to go through three levels to get out of the hotel)) It gets boring sometimes

The hotel is large, it consists of 3 buildings: A, B, C. We lived in building C.
I liked the hotel right away, it was beautifully made, its location is cool — almost in the jungle.
There is a small swimming pool with sun loungers nearby, where you can have a good time and wait out the hottest peak.
There is also a fitness room: neat, all exercise equipment is serviceable, there is a yoga mat, dumbbells.
Near the hotel there is a gas station and a 7/11 shop, fruit pavilions, souvenirs, laundry, and an exchange office.
It takes ~20 minutes to walk to the beach. There is a free shuttle service from the hotel (6 times a day).
The food is delicious, the food is varied: rice, pasta, potatoes, fish, chicken, rolls, vegetables, fruits, muffins, generally for every taste)
I liked the room: spacious, bright, clean, tidy and beautiful. Cleaning every day: wet cleaning, change of towels, bed linen, renewed water, tea, even put our scattered things neatly.
I didn't notice any flaws in the room at all (considering that I'm quite picky). The hotel is 8 years old, an incredible number of guests have been there for so many years, of course it will be shabby and let's not forget about the climate in this country, it also makes itself felt.
I also read in the comments that they noticed the smell of sewage and dampness. We have not encountered this.

The hotel is great. It's a little far from the sea, but it didn't bother me, there's a free shuttle from the hotel. The rooms have everything you need, daily cleaning, constantly replenished supplies of water, tea, coffee, etc. Special thanks for the breakfasts, they are great. There is everything you want, everyone will find for themselves what they like, rice, pasta, potatoes, fish, chicken, rolls, borscht, fruits, cupcakes, 🥐, well, in general, not to list everything. The pool is very small, you should not focus on it. But believe me, we never swam in it for 10 days, we came to the sea. The location of the hotel itself is not bad enough, there is a developed infrastructure around, everything that your heart desires. And what a window time for the jungle, greenery, sounds of nature. I definitely recommend it, we will definitely come back.

It's a lovely hotel. We stayed in December 2024 for 3 nights. Good breakfasts, a mini bar is included in the room. Quiet, clean. We will definitely come back again. There is a free tuk-tuk to the sea. But walking is also not a problem. Seven Eleven is just a stone's throw away.

This is the 2nd year in Thailand and the 2nd time for 31 days at my favorite IKON hotel, and that's why:
We have agreed with the hotel to pay directly. Peter helped us with this, thanks to him.
We have returned to the sincere people. It's like visiting relatives. This is very important to me.
View. We took an IKON OCEAN PREMIER room with a sea view. Although the sea is far away, there are advantages for couples. Firstly, there are almost no children in the hotel, and secondly, it is very quiet, unlike first-line hotels or Patong. Cleaning service every day, change of towels and bed linen, and a free bar are replenished daily.
The breakfasts are good. There are fruits, lots of salads and omelets. I'm not a foodie, so I don't have many requirements.
But dinner is separate, and here I always wonder why people are looking for food somewhere else.
We ate for 30 days in the evening in a cafe. Always large portions, delicious, not spicy, as we like.
Steak, eggs benedict, pizza, club sandwich, caesar salad with chicken. Thanks to the chefs for all this. Including the chefs who work in the evening — Sam and Fern. In the evening, we regularly ordered salmon steak, and it tastes much better than in the nearby Mama Jean cafe, because it is prepared with love.
Girls who create a cozy atmosphere in cafes in the mornings and evenings. Yes, that's right. When they treat you like a beloved guest, they always smile and instantly come when you just look, where can you find such an attitude?
The girls' favorite smiles are Ao, Kik, Theen, Biw, Anis, Aleenta, Fifa, Manda, Bam. Thank you girls for the gifts and attention, sincerity and care, you are the best.
Reception desk. People who are always in touch. Peter met us and presented us with fruit plates and certificates for 1000 baht for returning to the hotel. Nice. Unfortunately, I do not know all the names of the girls at the reception, but they are also cool. They always greet you with a smile.
It takes about 17 minutes to walk to the beach, there are cool massages nearby, and fruit stalls.
A convenient point for excursions.
I'd love to come back here again. It's like home here. Cozy and loving.

We stayed in a room with a sea view, but because of the distance it is not particularly visible. The transfer interval to the sea is two hours, which is not very convenient. There's a 7 eleven nearby. The hotel has three buildings, and it takes a long time to get to the far building. There is a dryer on the balcony, as well as a good table and chairs. The balcony railing is glass, so it does not block the view. The bed is comfortable. The hallway floor is often wet due to the air conditioner running on the lower floor, which is not very pleasant. Don't save money on the view from the room. Here we were at the sea and the sea was perfectly visible.

Good afternoon! The kettle is leaking, one outlet is working for the whole room. We charge the phones one at a time. They also used a hair dryer here . The safe did not work at check-in. Cleaning and changing of towels every day. There seems to be everything for breakfast, but except cheese and bacon. The beach is 15-20 minutes away, in 2-3 days it will seem that it is not so far away. There is a free tuk-tuk from the hotel if you are too lazy to go.

We rested at this hotel on 16.04-04.26.24. The hotel is a complete delight! The only disadvantage is that it is far from the sea. And even then, a free tuk-tuk to help!

Tourists are always greeted with a smile, although no one speaks Russian, they communicate in English, if there is a translator to help. The room got a chic, 6th floor with a view of the pool and the city. The evening lights look very beautiful, the sea is visible in the distance. The room has two huge beds, snow-white linen, a tea station, two 0.5 bottles of water, a TV (not included), a refrigerator, a safe. We didn't have slippers or bathrobes. The towels in the bathroom were changed every day. If cotton swabs, shower caps, shampoo dispensers, shower gel. A chic shower cabin, as well as a hygienic shower. Everything is always clean. Cleaning every day. Nothing is missing. The water is replenished every day. Beach towels were received at the reception under the signature, handed over after returning from the beach and signed again. Pool towels are always freely available at the reception. That is, you can safely use it, then throw it in the trash. With regard to breakfast.. the breakfasts are very good. There is always yogurt with breakfast cereals, eggs, omelet with any filling, two types of rice, pasta, chicken, sausages, vegetables, herbs, fruits. And also baking. Croissants, muffins and rolls. As well as honey, maple syrup, jams. Tea, coffee, cocoa. We always went naked. We had enough of everything. The sea is 20-25 minutes away, depending on your speed. On a tuk-tuk 4 minutes with a breeze. There will be many cafes, shops with fruits and clothes along the way. 7 eleven shops are also nearby. The hotel is gorgeous!!! Thanks for the reception!

Responsive staff, you rarely find such in Thailand. The hotel is located on a mountain (far from the sea), wild monkeys can be heard in the evenings, the breakfasts are excellent (even sushi is cooked), but there is a "BUT" - the hotel and all rooms smell damp, I have not yet met this.

The hotel is great. The furniture and decoration of the room are a little tired, but this is not critical. The room is large and spacious. The bathroom too. Everything worked well, there was no foreign smell. We booked the highest sea view (these are the 5th and 6th floors of building C). We made a reservation on the website, the payment was not made with a Russian card, we wrote to the hotel, we were allowed to pay cash on arrival. Despite the fact that in the reservation it was a non-refundable tariff with instant payment, and even a promo code for a spring discount, they left the amount fixed. Thanks a lot for that!
The breakfast is always the same, but very varied. You can always choose.
And another incredible plus: a free mini bar in the room. Every day two bottles of water, two 0.33 cans of beer :) chips, nuts, oreo cookies and cola with sprite. And all this is free.
Nearby there is just a gorgeous massage parlor Sweet Lemongrass. We went there every day, but we have to sign up, it's very difficult to get there day in and day out.
The fruits to the left of the hotel for 7/11 are the cheapest in the area.
If you want to take a break from Thai food, the hotel cooks very well. We took caesar and carbonara, everything was delicious.
They rode a bike to the beach so as not to melt along the way. The beach is gorgeous, we went to the left side (if you look at the sea). There are rocks at the end of the beach where they snorkeled. Fish of all colors and sizes, starfish, sea urchins. They burned down in all places while they were looking at everything.
Overall, the hotel is cool. Karon Beach with its squeaking sand is also great.
There is a Twinseafood restaurant on the shore, we were there almost every day. It's very simple, but it's delicious! Tom Yam and Tom Kha, mmmm

We rested at the Ikon Hotel in October 2023. Nice, clean hotel. The rooms are spacious, everything is fine with cleaning, too, the only thing that sometimes smelled of sewage in the room. We lived in a building that is closer to the road, so we used only one elevator, i.e. there were no additional crossings.
The breakfasts are good, there are omelets, vegetables, croissants, different cereals, yogurt, tea, coffee and much more…
In my opinion, the hotel is a confident 3* and is suitable for those who rent a car, moto or scooter, because of course it's a long way to the beach. There is parking for scooters, cars are also parked. The hotel has no territory, but there is a view of the green jungle) we had a view of the hangar, the road and the jungle)

The hotel is located on line 2, walking to the sea is not very convenient, but there is a free tuk-tuk several times a day from the hotel to Karon beach. The hotel itself is gorgeous, cleaning every day, new rooms, excellent breakfasts, friendly staff. There are several cool cafes near the hotel where you can have lunch. We visited this hotel in February 2018! And in a week we will again enjoy the rest and service of this hotel! Wonderful! New high-quality renovation, spacious room, gorgeous balcony overlooking the green jungle, large beds, new linen! The breakfasts were very tasty and varied! The distance from the sea is 1.5 km, but we rented a bike (opposite across the street), and we often walked on foot too. But it will not be convenient to settle here with small children. There is a cafe nearby, a supermarket is located closer to the beach. We hope that the Ikon Hotel will leave the same impressions on our new trip ?😊

We went with colleagues, settled here for a couple of weeks. After a couple of days, the negative aspects became obvious, namely:
1) The smell of mold. It is almost everywhere, especially in the showers, where it is also visible
2) The rooms are tired, they require cosmetics, whitewash the ceilings there, wash the shower, wash the curtains ...
3) Service, namely a change of bed linen. They should obviously be changed more than once a week...
One of the obvious advantages is the staff. Friendly and ready to help if you need anything. For example, our bike was dented, and the administrator immediately gave access to the parking cameras to study the recordings.

I sincerely do not understand such a high rating of the hotel)
In 2 weeks I could not get the curtains ironed for me, they hung up, it felt like right after washing, they were terribly wrinkled.
The room smelled of sewage. The glass has some kind of indelible white coating.
On the balcony, everything is covered in ashes from the smoker from above.
No one cleaned it either.
The culmination was the air conditioner "spitting" dust.
The ceiling, walls and the entire nearby area from the collector were covered in dust.
Well, after the street, the smell of dust, respectively, was felt very strongly in the room.
Cleaning is regular, it's a fact.
The breakfasts are very meager and monotonous.
An objective score of 5 or, at most, 6 out of 10.

There is a small gym, a non-working spa area, and a nice pool area with very few people. This is a great hotel! Modern, new, more suitable for a couple's vacation.
The hotel on the mountain, if you take rooms with a view of the jungle and in the upper buildings, creates a feeling of complete privacy.
Positive:
- comfortable, spacious rooms, with a large bed,comfortable mattresses and fresh sheets;
- excellent variety of breakfasts (it's worth waking up) , lovely floral arrangements on the tables, spacious, there is a terrace;
- pleasant staff, speak English;
- I recommend the spa at the hotel, it's more expensive than on the street, of course, but it's worth it;
- there is its own Parking, opposite there is an excellent rental salon with an adequate kind host and a good selection of bikes /cars.
Minuses:
- it is one, but significant.
Ikon is far from the sea and not close to shops / cafes, but you need to walk along a road without sidewalks. For a vacation with a child, I will choose a hotel with a more comfortable location.
And of course it all depends on the price for which the ticket is purchased.
He is really good in his segment, his eyes are resting! Frangipani on the balcony, juicy greenery, nice to remember)).

The best hotel in Thailand, which we came across during 3 times of stay in this beautiful country. It's a little far from the sea, but this is more a plus than a minus, since there are fewer party people there, it's quiet and peaceful! The breakfasts are delicious and hearty! The hotel has a decent view from the room. The building itself is perfectly integrated into the mountain. It is made in three levels, the first one is still empty. The pandemic must have had an effect.
On the second floor there is a reception, a lounge area, a restaurant and a swimming pool nearby. I liked the all inclusive breakfast.
