Very friendly staff
It is better not to go during the peak season, then you will have enough of everything - sun beds on the beach and by the pool, food, water and even toilet paper in the room). At 25% load, we had enough of everything.
2 times in 2 weeks there was no water for a short time, 1 time there was no electricity, but this is not the fault of the hotel.
The pharmacy is completely missing.
A store with a very poor selection of goods, if you smoke, it is better to take cigarettes with you.
In my opinion, it is better to buy a souvenir in duty free, because there is much more choice.
Of entertainment, only animation and TV in the room. If you are going to visit the disco in Marina, be prepared for the fact that no one else will be there.
Take euros to pay for excursions and dollars for purchases, preferably small ones, because there is not always change.
The water on the beach is muddy from the sand, but this cannot be avoided, because the island of CayoCruz is on the first line of the ocean ...
Otherwise, everything is wonderful.
!!! If you are going to buy rum from the staff, make sure that the bottles are sealed, not opened and artistically rolled up, so as not to get upset that friends at home were left without a gift, as in my case.
Look carefully at which bills the guide Alexander gives you for change, because he will gladly accept any bills from your neighbors and merge them to you, and you will take them home, because even slightly torn ones will not be accepted anywhere, and this will become your problem)
Hello everyone!
From 10/15/14 to 10/30.24 I stayed at the hotel.
My stay here is coming to an end. At first we went to room 1503 with a sea view (as we thought), but it turned out to be a side view and in fact a view of the garden. Therefore, we bought another room, there is indeed a direct view of the sea (as we originally thought.
The nature is amazing, the hotel is clean, the territory is cleaned, the water is beautiful. The pool is of course strongly chlorinated.
Room cleaning ... well, it is, but they quietly leave dirty mirrors, the floor in some places. Washed bed linen and towels. If the safe is open (for example, it did not work for us), they refuse to clean it. We were faced with the fact that we couldn't close the safe, we had to wait for a man, he poked at the buttons and said that everything was fine. A few days later at 7.00 we go on an excursion, but the safe does not open!!! And there's money, of course. And in the end, they waited for a man for half an hour, he came with a hangover and half the time was stupid, thinking what should be done. As a result, they opened it and he changed the batteries (why it couldn't be done right away is not clear).
Everything is of course shabby, old, dirty. I was disgusted. The beach is cleaned 2 times a day. There is beauty, of course (not the merit of the hotel).
The food is very sad. I don't eat all kinds of sausages, fried squid in breadcrumbs. Rice of different variations got tired already on the 6th day. There is no variety. It is also problematic to have a snack in the snow bars. The fish was always made and it was delicious on the grill. Sandwiches (with ham and cheese I always asked for) either in small rolls, or without cheese and with sausages were made with a long bun (I somehow got used to toast). When I ask a question- where are the cheese and ham.... The answer is a smile and a shrug. I thought that if there was a sea, then they would add seafood, but apart from squid rings and white fish, there was nothing. This is strange.
Several restaurants by appointment, with different cuisines: European, Asian, Cuban, Italian. They don't know what these kitchens are and what the difference is. It's the same all these days. I haven't eaten Italian pumpkin soup with pasta and sausages before)) and the wok soup is the same, only without sausages- Asian. There are basically no fruits - sometimes bananas and green watermelon (disgusting taste) at lunch. The staff is friendly. But in restaurants, it's sooo long to wait for an order to be accepted, for food to be brought (they're all very slow).
There were also several times -"Canadian day", Cuban day"- you come to a restaurant to eat at a buffet, and it's closed there. There is no information about this anywhere.
You'll find out in fact. It turns out that you have to go to another hotel and there is (rather a snack, everything is greasy and fried).
In general, I went half-starved or ate a buffet in another hotel (there are more people, noise, din, but also more food). I recommend the island, as nature will not leave you indifferent, but the hotel will not. If only you are in a comatose state here) I don't drink, so I notice all the flaws.
By the way, there are a lot of Mosquitoes and midges that will just eat you in the evening. I need to be careful with this (I was badly bitten at the beginning), the car poisons at 7.30 am and 19.00-19.30 pm.
Great hotel!
We arrived on New Year's Eve on 31.12.24. We met him on the plane due to a delayed departure, but the local New Year was already celebrated at the hotel (the time difference is 8 hours from Moscow ). Pool show- dancing and synchronized swimming . The dinner was delicious and varied- Spanish ham, cheeses, Spanish wines 😋
The animators entertained both by the pool and on the beach, Cuba days were held, dancing, meat was grilled over a campfire, and delicious mojitos.
The hotel is all inclusive - breakfast , lunch , dinner, burgers and French fries were fried at the bar.
Also, all drinks were free, from non-alcoholic to alcoholic. I repeat, we cooked a delicious mojito , brewed a delicious cappuccino, a cocktail with rum - San Francisco. All the staff at the hotel are polite. The only negative is the towels - they sometimes came across with stains.
We lived in the 3rd building , took a room with an ocean view . The bed is big size, the room is big. They ride on a sailing catamaran. Near the beach of the hotel you can meet an iguana))
