Huayu Resort & SPA Yalong Bay Sanya 5* is a stunning Chinese-style hotel with a beautiful green area, a large swimming pool and spacious rooms.
The cleaning is excellent! The breakfasts are varied! (the breakfast menu consists mainly of Chinese dishes, but there are enough dishes of European cuisine (fried eggs, toasts, fruits, porridges, pancakes, pastries, rice, noodles, potatoes, dumplings, soups, chicken broth, herbs, vegetables) - you will definitely not stay hungry, everything is satisfying and delicious!).
The staff is responsive, all requests are fulfilled very quickly. (The hotel staff does not know Russian, not everyone speaks English either, but the reception staff, waiters and hotel guides use an online translator – there were no problems with understanding)
The room has everything you need (slippers, bathrobes, daily replenishment of drinking water, regular change of bed linen). The windows offer wonderful views of the blooming garden!
Convenient transport accessibility, developed infrastructure, everything you need nearby – shops, supermarket, cafes, massage parlors! The sea is 5-10 minutes away at a leisurely pace. The beach is wonderful! We were very satisfied with the rest and the choice of the hotel!

We had a rest in November 24.
Positive:
•excellent large area, beautiful, green. Upon early arrival, they even allocated a bed in the auditorium on the ground floor to sleep before check-in. It's true that not only we slept there, but also people, but thank you for not having to sit in the lobby for 5 hours.
•Direct access from the hotel to the shopping center and a huge number of cafes. Coffee shops, pastry shops, clothes, massage. Of course, the area couldn't be better in terms of infrastructure. There is absolutely everything. You definitely do not need to buy dinners and lunches at the hotel.
•Comfortable rooms, there are separate ones with a private pool. They clean well. The room has everything. Toothbrushes, slippers, bathrobes, beach slates too.
Minuses:
• the breakfasts are very meager, almost 80% of the menu is Chinese. From the European there were only fried eggs, toasts, potatoes every other day and sometimes it was possible to snatch pancakes) there were only 3 types of fruits and the same thing every day: melon, watermelon and guava.
• The hotel is tired. There are no tiles in the pool directly on the floor and on the walls. Umbrellas and deck chairs partially rotted from humidity.
• Sunbeds on the beach are a separate pain for the whole Sanya. Not just this hotel. There are only a few of them on the beach. There are 20 pieces for the whole hotel. 8 out of 9 days, by 10 a.m., all the sunbeds by the sea were occupied. Well, who gets up at 6, it's probably not a problem) there are no paid sunbeds in principle.
• Beach towels are very often missing, and if there are, they are sometimes in the mud, then in white spots from chlorine. But they are allowed to take towels from the room.
Overall, the hotel is not bad. Now there is a partial renovation, judging by the sign, they were bought by Swissotel. Perhaps some of the shortcomings will be corrected. If you treat it like a good 4, then the hotel is quite itself. Unfortunately, it does not reach the high-quality five yet (or already).

The hotel has exceeded all expectations! A super five for a comfortable price . The rooms are chic and large, cleaning for 5+. We had breakfast, delicious and satisfying . There is always something to eat .
We paid separately for the grill bar with a fan , everything is just very tasty .Convenient transport accessibility , close to shops, cafes and of course the sea!

We had a rest in April. A good hotel, spacious rooms, friendly staff, clean, water and other replenished regularly, slippers, bathrobes, everything is available. The sea is across the street, but it did not work out to swim in it for 2 weeks because of the waves, rescuers are not allowed into the water. There are several pools on the territory, because of the very warm water, they also did not swim much). There are also 2 restaurants where you can have breakfast. It would not be bad for the guys in the Chinese restaurant to know elementary words in English, because they did not even understand the words salt and pepper. It was certainly frustrating, there was a whole quest for explanations. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We went to the longevity clinic opposite the Villa Brooke Stony hotel for a massage, we also did very well.

Excellent rooms and service. Cleaning two times a day. Each villa has its own swimming pool. It takes 3-4 minutes to get to the sea at a leisurely pace if you don't want to drive an electric car. A great place to relax in peace, choose Dadonghai for parties. The sea is clean, there are private sun beds. 10 minutes from the hotel there is a street of food for every taste and budget. I really liked the hotel. We had a rest from May 15 to May 24. Very beautiful well-maintained territory. There are several pools, even there is a warm one in which it is always 28 degrees. There is plenty of space for children: a free playroom, a playground. Cool, large rooms that have everything you need: from toothbrushes that are brought every day to a beach bag. By the way, this is one of the few hotels on the beach that has its own sun beds. I would like to say separately about the food, as it is difficult for Russians in China. It seems that there is a lot of food, and it is not all specific, the child 3 had something to feed. In the morning, fruits (watermelons, melons, papaya, Dragon fruit), all kinds of porridge (terrible), pancakes, pastries, chicken broth to which you can choose noodles, potatoes, fried dumplings a couple of times, French fries, not spicy noodles, rice.
For dinner:meat (duck, lamb, pork, beef, chicken) grilled, seafood was, but the choice was not like in Thailand (fish, octopus and some strange crap, but delicious), rice, noodles, something like tom yama, fruits, vegetables, generally without frills, but hungry They weren't. By the way, there is a free unlimited beer for dinner. It's very tasty. When we were on the plane, people said, "Oh, at least for the first time it's okay to eat," we didn't have that. There is a street with food and entertainment nearby. Apart from kfc and McDonald's, we did not dare to try, since everything is written in Chinese. So we recommend the hotel. By the way, the reviews said that 70% of Russians. When we were on vacation, it was the opposite, 70 percent were Chinese, 30 percent Russian-speaking (Kazakhs, Russians, Belarusians). It is not clear what the Chinese were looking for, what global capitalist conspiracies they were looking for. 2) I want to tell you about one advantage right away - it's nature - the greenery is lush and beautiful, and the cars are generally clean, almost all electric. 3) we arrived at the hotel at 4 a.m. - we were kindly offered to rest and sleep in some kind of rest room - as a result, we went down two floors underground on a shabby staircase, where we were offered to lie down in a completely dark, stuffy room with strange snoring people nearby. It's a kind of shared bedroom and it's not known who slept on this bed before and who sleeps next to it. They said it with such a face, as if they were offering 10 kg of black caviar for free purely for their own. 4) the Chinese are, of course, very, very strange people, (they are called friends of course) no one speaks English, Russian, Spanish or German, they don't understand any gestures of the simplest kind. It's just unimaginable, how can you not understand anything like that, my dog understands more? 5) about the hotel: there are no sun beds by the pool, (a huge hotel and 10 sun beds at most), there are no beach towels (also 20 pieces who will have time to grab in the morning), he called the manager and said "well, no, no, what now", I wanted to talk like a man, but they talked me out of it- for this They put me in jail. forks, spoons, cups, if you come in the middle of breakfast, lunch - no, glasses ran out for New Year's Eve dinner, people went up to the bartender and said where the glasses were, she answered with a translator "glasses are out, where am I going to give you a wax" as a result, tourists made a scandal and called the administration, and while they went to get glasses in the rooms, the wine ran out. During rush hour, at dinner or breakfast with a queue of 10-15 people, a Chinese man stands with a straight face and roasts one pancake on one plate, when everyone in the queue is boring 2-4. Isn't it possible to treat the coast?? Amazing!! Some Chinese woman brought a child to pee almost to the sea next to people lying down, according to the principle "children's urine is God's dew." I felt like I was in a madhouse during my entire vacation. 8) after New Year's Eve, at 10 a.m., the janitor knocked on the door - the most incomprehensible person in the world. I couldn't explain to him in any way, either by gestures or in any language (the phone sat down) so that he would leave and come back later. In the end, he left, I went to bed, and half an hour later there was another knock- the same Chinese man says we need to clean up. 9) I went for a massage- well, a massage is like a massage, but while I was doing it, a Chinese woman loudly found out something for 20 minutes with a friend who came in. There was no pleasant music or atmosphere, just an ordinary painted room and a medical bed. 9) Hainan cuisine is a special part of the trip. Absolutely everything is not delicious. There is no salt or pepper on the tables. Not only is it difficult to explain how to bring salt- they don't understand gestures, but they also look at you when you ask for salt as something amazing. 10) everything is very expensive- it looks like the Chinese have decided to make the most out of tourists in Hainan. 11) fruits should be searched for in back alleys and dark alleys. Where they sell closer to the hotel, it's usually mega expensive and not sweet. The name of the hotel is by the way, I have a friend now. Renamed it. We went because there were good reviews... in general, I'm tired of writing, I still have a lot to remember. In short, I am completely disappointed in Hainan, the Chinese, and the Chinese... This is a three-bedroom apartment with a beautiful territory, tired of life and in need of renovation.

There are a lot of residents from Russia. I have nothing against my compatriots, I am glad that they can afford to rest. But it changed everything in a coordinated way! Breakfasts have changed, there used to be a variety of meat and seafood, now there is none of this. Rice, noodles, soy meat, a very poor assortment! There are no beach towels from the word at ALL! There are not enough sun beds for such a number of guests. It is unlikely that I will come to this hotel again. The hotel management has lost a more solvent contingent.

The hotel needs renovation, it is already far from 5*.
The room was cleaned every day, cleaned well. A small gecko lived on the balcony, went out for a walk on the ceiling in the evening)
Breakfasts are focused more on the Chinese, there was a choice of dishes, but more often they took the same thing. The coffee is delicious, a good selection of juices, grape and mango I recommend.
The location of the hotel is in the center of a shopping street, all cafes and restaurants are within walking distance.
It takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the beach. There are few sunbeds from the hotel on the beach, they are always busy, there is not enough for everyone. There were also occasional shortages of beach towels.
