A wonderful place, a real must as to landscape, with the Southern Karelia lakes and bushes of northern trees, where the promises are perfectly integrated.
Very good and roomy accommodation with unforgettable views in the western alley. Very good breakfast and pleasant kitchen, with an economical offer by lunchtime.
Several open air spaces served by the restaurant and bar. The indispensable sauna, of course.
The staff is exceptional for sympathy and availability.
The quiet and relaxed atmosphere is ideal for enjoying the pleasures of nature, whatever long the stay is.
A very decent motel. Excellent location: on the steep shore of the lake. Saima. Far from the border and the large (for Finland) city of Lappeenranta. The rooms are small but cozy. Many with access to the street: "terrace". The food is quite decent. Of the features: swimming pool and beach on Saimaa. Nearby is the landmark of the 2nd World War: a fragment of the Salpa Defense Line - the second line of defense of Mannerheim, built in 1944 for defense against the USSR. It didn't help: unlike 1939-40, it was taken by our troops in a few days! Glory to our victorious ancestors!!! I recommend the hotel for a short stay: 3-5 days.
A great place to relax before or after the border. Gorgeous views, nice sauna, swimming pool. The lake in the summer after the sauna is generally super.
The hotel is located 24 km from Lappenranta on the shore of a picturesque lake. In the morning, they are treated to a full PP breakfast (porridge, sliced cheeses and sausages), muesli, coffee. There is a sauna and a swimming pool.
A very nice hotel. We visited 4-5 times - the staff is always friendly, almost everyone speaks Russian. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Those with a lake view were especially liked, despite the bunk bed (it has metal round stairs, it is not as easy for an adult to climb as for a child), but the view from the windows and the opportunity to go directly to the lake compensate for everything. The hotel has a swimming pool, sauna, wonderful breakfasts and a shared kitchen where you can cook yourself. There are greenery and clean air around. In general, a good place, I recommend it.
Very beautiful nature, mushrooms grow right along the path that runs along the lake. The water is clear, the bottom is sandy.
The hotel is roadside. The food is good, but there is not much choice in time. Sauna, swimming pool, Jacuzzi bath, in fact, that's all. To spend the night, no more and on the way. Yes, I also didn't really like the fact that locals, apparently, regulars, are sitting on the veranda and in the evening in the restaurant. The rooms are clean. A man was sitting at the reception desk and speaking Russian. The Monergain line is nearby. That's all there is to say.
The hotel is located on the shore of Lake Kiviyarvi. The room has everything you need. The breakfast is not great, but you will definitely not stay hungry. It is not convenient to take a shower in the bathroom, because there is no pallet, everything flows down to the floor, you need to clean it yourself. There is no curtain either, instead there is a small glass on one side of the wall. We had a view of the lake from the room. There is a personal exit to the street. There is a shared kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, dishes and kitchen utensils. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel entrance. For a fee, you can rent a boat or catamaran.
The place is beautiful as everywhere else and close to the border. The rooms are small, the single beds are narrow and not comfortable, the breakfast is bad!
Very beautiful nature and lake. The motel is modest, but there is a spa with a pool and Jacuzzi.Finnish sauna, you need to take a towel and slippers with you, otherwise you will have to buy, there is a restaurant. The rooms are different, both small and large, we lived in a large one, overlooking a clearing, a forest and a lake. The staff speaks Russian and are very friendly. The breakfasts are modest and a little buffet, but you have to go earlier, because hungry Russians make endless approaches for food, and Fins look at it with surprise..Therefore, the food runs out quickly. ))In general, it's a good place!
A good place to stay for a couple of nights. 3 stars due to the fact that the ad indicates the possibility to use the kitchen, in fact they even refused hot water.
An excellent hotel at a reasonable price on the shore of the lake among the pines. The price includes accommodation, buffet breakfast, sauna and swimming pool. You can roast meat on the grill yourself in the fresh air on the territory of the hotel. We have been going there for the third year now.
We celebrated the New Year (2020) at this hotel and really liked everything. We thought for a long time where to celebrate the new year and accidentally stumbled upon an offer from this hotel and took a chance, went with two families. Russian Russian is spoken by all the staff, the holiday was organized very well, everything was focused on Russian-speaking tourists and Russians living in Finland. There was a gorgeous presenter from St. Petersburg (unfortunately I don't remember the name) thanks a lot to him, the guy behaved so intelligently and at the same time with great humor, it was obvious that he was improvising, but everything was top ten, it was a lot of fun, we just seriously decided to celebrate there again next year.
Now about the hotel: everything is very cozy and neat, without much pomp, but everything works, everything is thought out and original, the rooms are spacious, there is a separate kitchen with everything you need (stove, kettles, microwave, dishes and dishwasher, refrigerators, washing machine, etc.). Breakfasts for 4+, there are all the most popular, you can even bake waffles yourself, literally 2 minutes, as well as omelets, sausages , eggs , sliced, tomatoes, cucumbers, porridge, cereals, tea, coffee, juices, soft drinks.
The hotel is on the lake, right on the shore , there is a swimming pool with a sauna, a hydromassage in the pool, a view through panoramic windows to the lake , there is a Jacuzzi with warm water on the street.
In general, a very nice place 20 km from Lappeenranta, cool for both winter and summer holidays, and for spending the night if you come shopping in Lapa.
An inexpensive hotel. It is suitable for both rest and overnight stay. There is a beautiful lake nearby. Sauna with swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi - everything is at a high level. Friendly staff, good breakfast.
Very nice hotel, not far from the border. I liked everything: the price, the service (pleasant and helpful staff), the breakfasts, the pool (I would like a little warmer water). See you later, after the opening of the border. Thanks!
An excellent place, quiet and secluded, there is a sauna, a swimming pool and an ice hole. The room is warm and cozy, there is an exit to the terrace overlooking the lake. But you need to get there by car.
A great place, quiet and cozy! The room is small and comfortable. There is a kitchen. It is almost ideal for holidays with small children! I think it's even more interesting there in the summer!
We were a family in December 2018. I liked the hotel. Everything is simple and neat. The staff is friendly. The breakfasts are good. A sauna and a swimming pool are included in the room rate. There is a billiards table, a gym. A picturesque lake is visible from the windows. It must be very beautiful in summer. We will definitely come there in the summer.
Clear.A well-maintained hotel in Finnish. There is a slot machine for those who like to play. The swimming pool with sauna is at an altitude. The outdoor jacuzzi smells very much of bleach.(I do not recommend it) The breakfast is hearty.
In good weather, a great vacation. The rooms have access, including to the street. Since the hotel is more like a dorm with a shared kitchen, Finns and Russians live in different buildings. Another oddity is the location of the TV, you need to watch it at the door to the room. You can't see from the bed and the table.
Russian-speaking staff, 24-hour check-in. If you arrive after the reception has closed, the key will be left in the mailbox. Comfortably. Access to the lake. You can rent a catamaran. There's nothing special for breakfast.

Like the American motels from the movies. He drove up to his door. Exit from the room to the nature with a view of the lake! A wonderful concert by a Finnish rock band. Swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna. There is a barbecue area and an equipped kitchen. A cafe, of course. Boat and catamaran rentals.
