The location is top-of-the-line, the view from the terrace is just fire. The rooms are clean, moderately spacious, and all the accessories are there.
The breakfasts are typically Turkish, arranged on the ground floor, there are several tables, there is no crowd.
The hotel is located in an alley, not crowded, not noisy. There are a lot of attractions and transport stops within walking distance.
The staff is friendly, responsive, different on shifts, and we spoke Russian a couple of times.
Those who are not used to hearing calls to prayer in the early morning may not like it, because Sultanahmet is right under the windows.
We would come back again, but the prices...
The hotel is authentic and atmospheric. The rooms are small and there are some very small ones, but for historical Istanbul this seems to be the norm. The price is good. They paid 9,000 for 2 nights. We booked on the Island. They paid with a Russian card.
The room was clean. They cleaned up . The linen is sparkling white and the bed is nice. The plumbing is in working condition. The water was hot without interruptions.
The views from the terrace are amazing. Both the mosque and the sea. There were several hours left before the flight, we were already tired of running. We gathered food, went up to the terrace and sat there enjoying the views and seagulls). It seems to me that even in summer there are no breakfasts. Just a viewing terrace. There are chairs and tables there. Snack breakfasts. They offer to cook an omelet or scrambled eggs for 40 lire. That surprised me. As a rule, this is included in the breakfast. We are not particularly lovers of omelets, so we did not order, we already had enough. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Everything is within walking distance, without (up/down) and in a quiet alley.
Great location. The rooms are clean. Cleaning every day. Soap, shampoo, slippers are available. Delicious and hearty breakfasts on the roof terrace with stunning views of the Sultanahmet Mosque and the bay. All major attractions are within walking distance. Nice restaurant next to the hotel. We bought Turkish sweets from them, fresh and delicious at an adequate price. The seller speaks Russian. I recommend.
The perfect location!
If you want to live in a wooden Ottoman house, a 2-minute walk from the Sultanahmet Mosque, you are welcome here!
We are very happy with our vacation here. And the view from the terrace to the Blue Mosque, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, is a special bonus!
Of the cons: this is, as stated, a 3* hotel - there is no need to wait for bathrobes and a luxurious breakfast here. Breakfast is quite modest. But we read the reviews in advance and knew that you can order an omelet for breakfast for 40 lira. I was quite satisfied with this option: I am glad that the hotel has such an option at all. For 4 days we ordered omelets for breakfast, and on the fifth day we were treated to them for free :)
A great hotel for a tourist:
Just the perfect location behind the blue Mosque, on a quiet street where no one will disturb your rest.
At the reception you will be helped and prompted with any question, everyone is friendly and not intrusive (I assure you, you will understand how important this is in Turkey).
The only thing for which you could lower the score is for cleanliness, because the hotel itself is old, and bed linen and towels... it can be seen that they are not new.
But I don't want to. Just because the advantages of the hotel personally outweigh the disadvantages for me, and unfortunately there are problems with cleanliness everywhere in Turkey.
A great hotel for your money. Good location. Attentive staff. Good breakfasts. There is a sense of attention to the guests , any issue is resolved . We checked in at the end of February, it was cold, we were very cold after walking, the manager brought a kettle, tea and cups to our room to keep us warm. Great view of the mosque and the sea. The sea was also perfectly visible from our room on the 5th floor. I recommend it!
The best hotel in the area! Friendly hosts, close location to the historical center, excellent breakfasts 👍🏻
Without luxury and novelty, but very cozy, clean and calm. From the terrace there is a beautiful view of the blue Mosque and the Marmara Sea.
The hotel is family-run. The host greets the guests and helps in all situations, recommends where to visit, where to exchange currency, where it is tastier and better to have dinner. The administrators and the owner speak Russian well.
Thanks to Ugur and his wife, Maht and Rovshan for the wonderful impression of Istanbul!
A pleasant hotel, we were greeted by a fluffy receptionist. The very center for walking and hell for a taxi driver. They book through booking, payment is made on the spot. The audibility in the rooms is good, but we were lucky with the neighbor, he only chatted for hours. There is a lot of noise from tourists from the street, windows do not save. There is a beautiful terrace at the top with a view. Breakfast for 3. The toilet smelled like sewage. In general, it's very good, they don't be rude, they don't be rude, it's a great place to stop and walk around Istanbul
The hotel is located between the sea and Ayasofia. In front of the hotel there is a college where children make fun while studying. There is a playground on the roof of the hotel from which you can admire the sunset and listen to the faithful being called to prayer. It's very beautiful there!
The hotel is very close to the main attractions. The hotel is a little tired, but cleaning every day, clean. The breakfast is standard. The view from the terrace is excellent. There is no elevator. There are 15 rooms in total.
We were in 2024 with the whole family.
The staff is helpful.
The location is excellent.
The prices are affordable.
The rooms are clean, the condition is average.
Breakfast in the morning.
I liked everything.
I recommend.
This is a great hotel. We were in 2019 before the pandemic, I booked on my own, there is no elevator-so I asked for a room on the ground floor in the comments. A super room for two, there is an exit from the room to the terrace with a sofa, in the evenings they smoked there. Cats came and fed them. There was a Russian speaker at the reception, the attitude was wonderful, they helped everything they could. Breakfast was included, monotonous, but delicious, you could always eat enough. There are tables on the roof and a great view of the mosque and the sea. There are good cafes nearby. If the price is acceptable, only there. There are no photos from the phone, if I can add them later. I advise you!
Great location, great view. The breakfasts are a bit monotonous, but it doesn't spoil the impression. Good staff, all issues were resolved very quickly and simply.
Great location, small but very comfortable rooms, a terrace with a view, a good-natured host and his assistants, especially I would like to mention the Tripod), cleaning and change of towels daily. Breakfasts are jams, bread, simits, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, cheese, sausage, yogurt, thoughts, water, orange and cherry drinks, tea and coffee. I liked everything.
The hotel is not bad, the location is good, the breakfast is modest, but you will not stay hungry, the reception is nice guys who speak Russian well. The rooms are cramped and the light is very dim, but that's okay)
a clean, cozy hotel in the very center. beautiful view from the roof terrace of the Bosphorus and Sulaimaniyah. breakfast is OK.
special thanks to Rovshan :)
Excellent staff, helped to book tickets to Cappadocia and told in detail how to get to the bus station. They speak Russian well. The hotel is in an authentic style. The room, by the way, is not small for this area. This is not the first time in Istanbul that there is something to compare it with. There is an outdoor terrace on the roof with views of the Blue Mosque, the sea and the Egyptian obelisks. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance and close enough. The breakfasts were also good . In general, I recommend it)
I liked the hotel! We went with a friend to the old building, built in 1870 in the Ottoman style, renovated in 2006. The rooms are small, but bright and cozy. Clean, clean and change towels every day. Nearby, within a minute's walk, Sultanahmet Mosque, Hippodrome Square, Ibrahim Pasha Palace, Hagia Sophia, Basilica cistern, etc. It's just a pity that the Blue Mosque is currently under restoration. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Ali provided us with transport cards, linked HES codes, and took our suitcases to the room. Special thanks to Elnur, who speaks Russian and helped us in everything.

The location is beyond praise, almost behind the wall from the Sultanahmet Mosque. The hotel itself is an old building with a wooden saddle on the facade. The rooms are not large, but in the city center, this is a common thing. Cleaning is weak, there is a new life under the bed, which has been there for more than one year. Mattresses creak, there is a lot of dust, wooden windows, respectively, the audibility from the street is excellent. Makhtum is a receptionist, very responsive. Breakfasts are weak, but as they say, you won't be hungry)
A wonderful hotel. Good location, reasonable price per room. There are Russian-speaking staff. The breakfasts are normal. There were no interruptions in the water supply. Overall, it's great for the money.

Wonderful! Excellent Russian-speaking guys are working. The breakfasts are standard, I won't say anything to taste - I don't have breakfast, but it doesn't look very bad. There is always something new.
The rooms are not bad. They are cleaned well, cleanly. For that kind of money, it's just a gift! I will recommend it to my friends!
Some shabbiness and crowding of the rooms is compensated by cheapness, while the central location remains a net plus.
I recommend a terrace overlooking the Bosphorus, seagulls, bulk carriers and that's all, and take the rest with you!
Thank you very much for the warm welcome. A good hotel for a reasonable price. The staff is very pleasant. The location of the hotel is excellent. Attractions, transport, restaurants, everything is nearby! I plan to definitely come back! 👍❤
Location for 5. Breakfast-0, roof terrace- 5 in good weather. Repair and pr - 3+ (repairs were done a long time ago and not very efficiently. Suitable for 1-2 nights
