Great hotel! Good location - the balcony can see the sea and the promenade right next to the hotel! There are many small shops nearby, not far from the railway station to travel to Barcelona, which is just over an hour away!
I came on vacation alone, booked and paid for a standard room, settled in a single storage room, where one person can fit without a suitcase. 417 room without repair, refrigerator, hair dryer, and generally without anything. They demanded payment of 20 euros for a safe + 10 deposit, 3.50 euros tax is charged upon check-in, 30 euros are asked for a 4-hour extension of the room, a TV remote control is 5 euros. Upon check-in, the passport is taken away for a day to pay the tax, returned with torn pages. Breakfast - there are no yoghurts, there are 4 types of bread, pastries, 4 types of sausage/ham, sausages, fruits, tea and coffee. Dinners are also so-so, there are plenty to choose from, but the taste of food is the same for everything. There has never been a cleaning in 7 days, the bed linen has not been changed, only towels and then not every day. Shampoos/Gels/Lotion - reported every other day. The hotel staff sticks to the residents, to the girls who came alone on vacation, pulling their hands, and not to be afraid of anything. The air conditioner practically does not work either in the hotel or in the room. View from the room to the garbage dump, parking lot, and greenhouses. Everything that happens in the next room you will hear, all the oohs and other sighs.
I left my things in the suitcase, because it is not possible to disassemble them in such a kennel, and left for the whole day. Upon my return, the things in the suitcase were turned over...
The old town of Malgrad is beautiful, you can walk around and admire it. There is nothing to do in the tourist part. Walking crowds of people back and forth, noise. dirt... Music from every hotel, cafe every evening. In general, you will not get silence here. And you won't get any rest from the noise.
