The hotel is very pleasant, there is a swimming pool and a bar on site, which is very rare for Georgia, as well as a restaurant. Confidently five stars, adequate cost, a small minus in the location of the hotel in Makhinjauri is not in Batumi itself, but it was convenient for us that we first drove to Shekvetili by car to the sandy beach, that is, we did not have to get out of the city, and in the evening we took a minibus to walk to the city itself for 70 tetris (about 25 rubles) or 7-10 GEL taxi (up to 350 rubles)
Of the advantages, the water in the pool was cleaned and changed, an acceptable price for accommodation with breakfast, near the beach. But the hotel already requires repairs and changes of both furniture and bed linen, towels, pillows. The shower room is combined with a bathroom, there is no pallet in the shower, which is inconvenient, they clean the room only on request, they do not come themselves. The air conditioners are not in good condition in all rooms, the next day they gave another room. Breakfast is an hour and a half, if you come late, then there is practically nothing, if it's early, then there is a queue and not everyone has time to serve ... on the territory of the gazebo with swings.the staff is in contact.
The Georgian supereconomist.
The hotel is located in the suburbs of Batumi (1 hour along the eternal traffic jam to/from Batumi) in Makhinjauri - 1 square, 2 colored singing fountains, 4 shops, 5 cafes and a bunch of stray dogs barking in unison with trains that run at night. Nearby there is a beach with a bad entrance, toilet and changing rooms for a fee, for 1 GEL.
Packs of dogs are free.
The hotel has its own rather large territory, with gazebos, swings, and a small swimming pool. It blooms very often, apparently they save on chemicals for water, the water is drained, then a new one is poured, it is cold, they could use it only 3 times in 10 days. There is a toilet nearby.
The hotel building has 5 floors, no elevator.
It's a little confusing, so going up/down from the 5th floor is a whole quest.
The rooms are usually very austere, like in a pioneer camp.
The bathrooms in the rooms are usually well renovated, but the shower has a scupper in the floor, there are no curtains, so the floor in the entire bathroom is always wet.
The noise insulation is low, you can hear the life of neighboring rooms and floors, including due to the fact that there is a distance of 2-3 cm from the bottom of the door.
Some rooms have access to a shared balcony, which all guests have access to, their broken non-closing doors add intrigue.
Despite the promise of a refrigerator, they are not in the rooms, and the floors are clogged with broken ones.
There is 1 common room on the 1st floor, everything can be dumped there.
Each room has air conditioning, TV, hairdryer, kettle, dishes, etc.
And there are very few electrical outlets, usually 2-3 per room.
Daily room cleaning according to the Georgian tradition is not carried out, only upon request, which is carried out.
There is breakfast, it is very late, at 10 a.m., (apparently the cook sleeps for a long time), but you must come no later, otherwise you will be left without food.
The food is a buffet, although it is plentiful, but cold and tasteless.
There is almost never any fruit.
The porridge is overcooked, the eggs are always there, there has never been an omelet or scrambled eggs.
There is a regular struggle for dumplings and delicious watermelons - they are the most edible.
To remove the buffet and thereby increase the quality of its products - this idea has not yet occurred to the owner ...
The dining room is huge, with huge round tables, which once again resembles a pioneer camp, where the whole squad can sit at 1 table.
WiFi doesn't work well, sometimes it sags, don't count on it too much.
The owner and staff of the hotel are friendly, they always meet you halfway to the best of their abilities.
For this money, this is a good offer, since there is no golden mean in Georgia - either cheap and bad, or very expensive and so-so...
PS
After 3 weeks, Booking contacted me and asked why I did not check into the hotel on the appointed dates and is it true?
The hotel, in order not to pay commissions, decided to accuse me, a Genius tourist of the 3rd level, that without warning anyone, I did not arrive at the hotel on the set dates and they did not receive profit...
