Positive:
- Staff! One of the administrators speaks Russian very well and suggested some cool places.
- location. In the very center of the tourist movement. There's a tram not far away.
- daily cleaning service
- tea and coffee are always available in the lobby
Minuses:
- there was no shower gel, shampoo. But there were slippers.
- there is no refrigerator or hanger in the room. Just one outlet and an extension cord.
- room (5) is so tiny that there was nowhere to put even a clothes rack. Our jackets spent the night in the closet in the hallway.
- there is no heating, we were heated with a split.
- you can see the view from the window in the photo.
We booked through Tinkov, I chose a room with a BEAUTIFUL VIEW, when we were checked in, of course, I asked the administrator where the view was, to which he told me that they did not have such a thing at all. Sea view only.
Breakfast is neither a plus nor a minus. In the morning, a girl comes and collects plates for everyone: two pieces of sausage, two pieces of cheese, several olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, jams, bread. Sometimes eggs (boiled or omelet), croissants or muffins were added.
A lovely hotel, with very pleasant staff and host. The view from the room is simply amazing (see photo, Panoramic Room), delicious breakfast, tea/coffee around the clock. Everything is within walking distance. The room has air conditioning, and we were very comfortable in the cool weather. I definitely want to come back here and recommend this hotel to everyone)
We stayed with a friend at this hotel in early March. The staff is wonderful and very empathetic! The hotel owner speaks Russian well and always helped if there were questions about the hotel or places in the city.
We were very lucky and got a room with a terrace with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus, the Asian part of Istanbul and the Sultanahmet Mosque, which is located a few minutes from the hotel. It would be great to return in the warmer months to have breakfast on the veranda!
The room itself is small, but there was everything you needed — air conditioning (on cold days and nights it helped a lot), cleaning every day, towels are changed, shampoos.
At first, there was nowhere to hang the jackets, we wrote to the owner about it and after a few minutes he came and hung the hangers on the door, it was incredibly nice!
I liked that breakfast is included for this price. Breakfast is portioned, monotonous, but in 6 days we generally did not have time to get bored. A couple of slices of sausage, cheese, cheese, olives, bread and, if desired, a very tasty omelet. For dessert, jam and sweet rolls/croissants. We ate too much! Delicious tea and coffee around the clock.
There are flyers with guided tours in Russian right at the hotel, you can order them at the reception and pay in dollars (new).
There is also a menu of the nearest restaurant on the ground floor, from there you can order food and pay through the hotel staff. Large portions and delicious! It saved us a lot on a rainy evening.
I know that the owner is trying very hard and investing in this place, so I am sure that it will become even better in the future! Good luck and prosperity to the hotel! Thank you very much! We'll be back🤍
