December 2024. The mountains are unusual for us and the fresh lake between them (reservoir). Mountains are like Arafat. Mountains with a yellow tinge.
The cost of a single kayak is 60 dirhams, double 120 dirhams. The riding time is unlimited. There are round swimming facilities for a large company.
It takes almost 3 hours to get from Dubai by bus E16, stop in the Union metro area. It is better to go in the morning, around 8 a.m., so that you can get back before the metro closes. The bus arrives at the bus station in Hatta (29 dirhams were charged), from where you can take the H04 bus to Hatta Dam (1 stop, 5 minutes to go, you can walk), travel 3 dirhams.
There are many cafes near the bus station where you can eat inexpensively. There is also a toilet, very clean. In Hatta Kayak, where kayaks are rented, it will be more expensive to eat.
There is a hiking trail in Hatta that goes into the mountains.
Now money is being invested there and construction is underway: parks nearby, metal stairs - uphill and so on.
