We stayed at this hotel in February. Very convenient location, within walking distance of all the attractions. Wonderful breakfasts, and most importantly, a very warm, homely atmosphere! The owners of the hotel and the administrators pay a lot of attention to the guests, thank them for that! Of course, there are small 2-bed rooms, there are very decent family rooms with a huge balcony.
Pros: excellent location, within walking distance of Sultanahmet Square, tram stop T1. The hotel has central heating.
Cons: it is unclear where the hotel got such a rating. They gave me a room for three, completely tiny, as if for two, and I put another bed in there. The furniture includes a cabinet and one lamp stand. There's nowhere to put my things or my suitcases. It is impossible to pass, the passage is 30 cm between the beds. The sockets are loose, the furniture is old. Out of 5 nights, 2 days did not clean at all and did not even enter the room to take out the trash. There is no kettle or mugs in the room, and there is simply nowhere to put them. Breakfast is NOT a buffet, but a plate is served with 1 piece of sausage, cheese, 1 tomato, half a cucumber, one cookie, and a lettuce leaf. The staff is completely inhospitable. The woman who served breakfast always did it with a displeased face, as if we had interrupted her. The man at the counter asked 2 times when we were leaving (and we had 2 more days paid for), as if they wanted to send us out.
In total, you can spend the night for one night, but no more. I do not recommend the hotel. It is better to choose another decent hotel for the same money.
This hotel was very pleased with the hospitality of the hosts, the excellent location, and the comfort. A very authentic, pleasant place.
There is air conditioning, clean bed linen and towels, fresh breakfast, shower, of course.
Those who care about the atmosphere and the feeling of relaxation will like it.
However, it is worth saying that, of course, this is not 5 stars and you need to treat the hotel like a house visiting your grandparents. Especially for such a price)
I'll give you a solid four for the location and breakfast, which is included in the price. I also note that the room is warm in winter. If it weren't for a small room with a tiny bathroom, then you could put 5. Polite staff. They helped me call a taxi. 3 minutes to Hagia Sophia, 3 minutes to tram stop T1. 2 minutes to Basilica Cistern. I recommend it!!!
We booked a Double room for two for 2 nights 07.12.22-09.12.22 for 45 euros with breakfast.
We liked the hotel very much and exceeded our expectations. The main advantage of the hotel is its location: a few minutes from Ai Sofia, tram stop, exchangers. McDonalds.
The location of Sirkeci is always a win–win - there is a tram nearby, all the main attractions are within walking distance. To Sabiha airport by marmaray + metro 1.5 hours for 15 liras (50 rubles), to the new airport we got by public transport for 30 liras (100 rubles) in 2 hours (tram and 2 buses - Google maps will tell you exactly how to get there).
It's also a plus that they settled in ahead of time, at 10:30.
The room is small, on the 2nd floor, but everything is clean and fairly new, according to reviews, the worst was expected. The room had a working refrigerator, a TV including a Russian channel. There is no hair dryer and kettle. The only thing in the shower was that the water was not regulated – either very hot or cool.
We had a view of the courtyard. It is quiet at night - unlike other hotels in the Sirkeci area, the cries of seagulls and early prayers of the muezzins did not interfere.
The breakfast is continental, but very good (from 8 to 11): boiled egg or omelet, a couple of pieces of cheese, cucumber, tomato, sausage, olives, tangerine, a piece of sponge cake, portioned honey and jam, a basket of bread. A choice of tea or coffee.
We recommend the hotel, it is the most inexpensive option in your favorite Sirkeci. We will definitely come back.

+: clean linen, hot water is available, air conditioning is working, proximity to attractions.
That's where the advantages end.
-: an old shabby room, very cramped, there is no kettle, mug, water even in the room. We met: we looked at the passport, handed over the key, did not even bother to show it. No hello, no smile, nothing at all.all reviews on the Internet are registered. Hole. For the same money, the hotel near Istiklal is much more decent. I will never come here again
We stayed with a friend at the hotel from March 15th to 19th. Cozy, homely, with friendly staff. The breakfast is delicious, enough not to get hungry before lunch, every day is the same. But this is not a minus and does not get boring in five days. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Sultanahmet.
About the room: it is very small, so there is no table or chair, the door to the toilet does not open completely, rests against the toilet bowl. It was not important for us, as they only came to spend the night. It was not comfortable to take a shower, it was cold in the bathroom.
They lived alone in the hotel, apparently all the rooms are like that, otherwise they would have been given spacious ones. The stairs are narrow, steep, it was hard to go down with a suitcase, they did not understand why they settled high (214 rooms), the hotel was empty. Nevertheless, if I go to Istanbul, I will stay at this hotel.
Cosmetic repairs are required. But the location is good. Almost parallel to the main street, quite quiet. The hotel is small, there is Wi-Fi. The hotel has small restaurants where delicious food is served at reasonable prices. Personally, I liked the hotel. The hotel owner and some of the restaurant staff speak a little Russian. Breakfast is small, probably it will be a little meager for someone. The rooms are small, but this is the norm for Istanbul. It's enough to spend a few nights.

A small cozy hotel. Some things need to be repaired. Everything is in progress. But the location, the attitude towards the guests and the price/quality ratio decide everything.
And how cozy it is after dinner in the cafe at the hotel (with a discount for guests) to sit at a table outside with a cup of tea / coffee and a view of Hagia Sophia ...
Or on the upper terrace...
We vacationed in Istanbul from September 4 to September 7, 2019, chose the Han hotel, specially chose a small hotel. We liked everything about the hotel: the location, reception, service, breakfast, the hotel staff helped with the transfer to the airport. We recommend this hotel to everyone.
An awful lot of cockroaches, cramped, not the fact that you need to stay there. Although the staff is quite hospitable, the choice of hotels in Istanbul is incredibly huge. The choice is only in favor of the budget - inexpensive. It's like in the good old shuttle days on Laleli - you wake up and see a mouse on the bedside table, which eats your cookie and wishes you good morning....

I really love this hotel! We have stayed in Khan twice already! An atmospheric hotel! A stone's throw from the Hagia Sophia. For tourists without pretensions, but with a sense of humor.
