I spent the night in a hostel for the first time in my life, and I was brought to Kharkhorin in April 2025 with a group of tourists. I really liked the hotel, considering that I had spent the night in Bator and Bayankhongor before, there is something to compare it with. We slept together in a 4-bed room. This is a really cool tourist hostel. The portions in the restaurant are huge. The staff speaks English.
A good hotel with breakfast and helpful staff, in the center with walking distance to Genghis Khan Square, museums and shopping centers, good cafes nearby.
Convenient location - close to the center. The rooms are spacious. Delicious continental breakfasts from the French chef. I take off one star for sandwiches (they were given out instead of breakfast at the reception early in the morning on the day of departure) - we received our breakfast only the second time - we had to return from the bus to the hotel for them, apparently the guys at the reception wanted to keep them for themselves...
The hotel is old, dead and shuffled. There is no elevator in principle. I put one star for the availability of free parking, and in Ulaanbaatar parking is just a problem, I put the second star for the proximity to the center. Repair is definitely needed or demolition
Excellent breakfasts. Every day the room was cleaned and towels were changed, cosmetics in the bathroom were updated. There is a Russian-speaking receptionist at the reception. There is a water cooler in the foyer. The hotel is located close to the center, and the old Buddhist monastery is also nearby. I recommend it!
The most family-run hotel in all of Ulaanbaatar.
Cleanliness, quiet nights, cozy rooms, friendly staff - it's all about the Hyde Hotel!
And one more thing - the hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the main square of Ulaanbaatar!
The room is clean, the staff is responsive. I liked the area .

We were checked in late at night, around one o'clock. There was a shift at the reception on the first day - they spoke English well, the second - in general Russian. Our Wi-Fi was stable, but it was number 405 - it's right under the router.
There are 4 floors, there is no elevator, it is inconvenient to go upstairs with large suitcases. But an employee helped us, in general, he brought everything himself.
There's a cooler in the hallway.
There really doesn't seem to be a kettle. We didn't have to.
The bathroom is really not very good, but there is hot water, you can wash, everything is satisfactory. The beds are comfortable.
There is only one chair for a double room.
The employees are positive. The prices are normal. We paid some pennies for two people per night, 1800 rubles for our own ...
I recommend this place. We will most likely stop here for the second time too.
The hotel is not new, it has not been renovated for a long time, the old design. But in order to spend the night completely. Everything you need is there.
Very comfortable and cozy! The breakfast is great!

The bathroom leaves much to be desired: instead of a shower cabin, there is a bathtub with a non-closing hole, when you wash you can easily use it. If it's a bathtub, then add a drain plug to it. Not all the lights are on, there is no kettle, no bottled water and no bar. The vents do not open - the window opens completely, that's the design! The cleaning was fine, but in two neighboring rooms the key did not open the lock the first time. The Wi-Fi is very unstable in the room. The linen seems to be clean, but there are holes.
