I want to share my experience of visiting the Grunwald cafe! This place is simply amazing! 🍽️
First of all, the kitchen is a real godsend! The dishes are incredibly tasty and varied. Each treat was prepared with a soul, and we were completely delighted with everything we tried. 😋
It is also worth noting the beautiful interior. It creates an atmosphere of comfort and style, ideal for both a romantic dinner and a friendly meeting.
We recently held a banquet in Grunwald, and we were very satisfied! All our guests enjoyed everything - from the delicious food to the attentive service. We recommend this cafe for events, because you will definitely get an unforgettable experience in Grunwald!

If you want to have a nice and delicious weekend in Minsk, then start your morning here! By 9 a.m. on the Moscow morning train, we walked 900 m from the railway station at a leisurely pace and came to a pleasant entrance decorated with a garland of flowers and comfortably illuminated by table lamps in the windows.
The entrance group is very spacious, the photos are beautiful. The halls are small, clean, carefully designed and incredibly enveloping in warmth and hospitality. We were greeted early in the morning, already in beautiful uniforms, by trim, well-groomed waiters, inconspicuous and fast. Besides us, young people were already having breakfast, with glasses of sparkling wine. An excellent morning menu, any gourmet breakfast, from avocado with poached egg on brioche, etc., to any delicious porridge.It is very convenient that there is a bank opposite, where it is convenient and profitable to change money, because there were many places where they were needed. You can pay with a card. The service is beyond praise. Clean, stylish bathroom. There is an outdoor veranda. There is a high demand, and reservations are required in advance in the afternoon and evening. There is a smoking lounge. By the way, we decided to end the trip here. A leisurely delicious dinner -back on the train.

We were here in early January with a group of 7 people. The food is not bad, some people liked the dishes, some did not. The staff is not the most polite, the person who met us and escorted us to the table seemed sullen and rude to us.
But most importantly, unfortunately, we saw 2 COCKROACHES. One on the dresser opposite the toilets, the other on the wall right by our table. Unfortunately, we were very tired and no longer had the energy and time to look for a new place. When we showed the waiter the cockroach, he smiled very casually, nodded and left. Then 2 waiters sometimes looked at the cockroach, which made a circle around the walls of the hall and ran away somewhere.
For this "incident" we were offered to remove 3 portions of shingles from the bill.
Naturally, I do not recommend this institution to anyone and never set foot there again.

I visited this place for the first time more than ten years ago, and the fact that during this time the tavern remained in the same place under the same sign speaks volumes.
Well, now, years later, I can't say anything bad, only good things.
The cuisine, the surroundings, the service, the musical accompaniment - everything is at a very good level. Plus, apparently, due to the fact that the restaurant is located a little away from the "salted" tourist spots (really, who needs a historical museum nowadays?), the check comes out significantly lower than in more well-known establishments north of the avenue.
Separately, we are pleased with the very representative breakfast menu, there is plenty to choose from.
There is a good selection of homemade tinctures of good quality and an "honest" low-grade fortress, without weak twenty-degree half measures.
In short, I recommend you to visit both just to eat and to have a drink or snack.

We had breakfast here, and the bacon frosting wasn't very good: the bacon was overcooked and dry as chips. Coffee is an amateur, of course, but I've drunk it in other places and tastier. Plus, they cooked the glaze for too long in my opinion. The interior is nice, there is a small summer porch. When the waiter asked his wife to bring a blanket, because she was cold, he just turned down the air conditioner a little! He still hadn't brought a blanket. It certainly didn't help. Another employee of this establishment, seeing that my wife was wrapped up in her clothes as best she could, silently turned off the air conditioner without asking anything. Here's a lot of respect for her! I don't think we'll come here again.

I have been spending my free time in this institution for several years now, this place in Minsk is iconic, almost iconic. Very colorful, pleasant, high-quality. The only disadvantage is that it is often impossible to sit on the terrace - the incoming contingent of customers smokes cigarettes so that it is not possible to enjoy food and atmosphere in such "flavors"; of course, this is a question for guests, not for the institution, but it becomes a problem literally every time.
The place is really worth a visit. It is ideal for all those who like to enjoy a high-quality meal.
A separate respect for Chateaubriand and Ribay, as well as cottage cheese donuts, is something for which you can return there many times.

Wow, I finally got to the review!
If it were possible to put 0 stars, I would do it. The facility is completely unsanitary, and the sanitation department should be sent there to sort it out. My friend and I ordered borscht, we ate, it was delicious, then I bring another spoonful to my mouth and see it there... THE COCKROACH!! Naturally, we called the waiter, he cursed and took the borscht as if nothing had happened, which means cockroaches are the norm in their kitchen. While we were waiting for the order, we saw a cockroach on the wall, we told the waitress and she just put it away with a napkin without reacting in any way. Then they came up and apologized, saying, understand and forgive, the building is old, we poison cockroaches, but we can't exterminate them all. The borscht was not included in the bill and they gave a discount on the food that had been eaten before, dessert and a drink, and asked to pay in cash. The next day, my stomach hurt, I vomited terribly, and then I was taken to the hospital with an exacerbation of gastritis. That's how I went to this place, and now I walk around for miles.
Before this incident, I went to this place a couple of times, although I sat on the flight, it was delicious, but after this incident I only go to proven places and Grunwald does not enter there anymore!

A great place in the very center of Minsk on the "Minsk patriki". We have lunch here on weekends after the bath. It is better to book tables, because usually everything is busy, especially in the evening. Very tasty borscht, you only get enough of it. Mutton with prunes is good, but the portion is large, for two. The service is good, but borscht was once carried for 30 minutes. It's a little annoying that payment is only in cash and they don't always warn you about it. I know, but others don't. I'll take off my star for this. It's not a business in the 21st century to carry cash with you.

I would like to leave a review both positive and not so much. The excellent staff of the hall, waiter Fedor, Vitaly, are positive, smiling but also fast. A good-natured and responsive director who knows how to resolve a conflict, explain and still cheer up. What can not be said about the boss of the institution: incomprehensible behavior and alcohol consumption in front of our eyes. A lot of dishes were refused, and they were still waiting for a long time.
I hope it was just force majeure. I haven't noticed this before. I wish the institution only good reviews. I'm going to visit it anyway.

Disappointment of hopes is the name that can be given to this institution. Hoping for an interesting menu, a good work schedule for breakfast and the proximity of the location, we wanted to have breakfast there (the restaurant was opened the night before). Now for the points:
1. Waiter service-5, very friendly staff willing to help, but unable to do anything with the receptionist and the chef.
2. The chef's rating is 1. Why:
- especially your understanding of tastes. And it doesn't taste good
- the utter impossibility of making a change in a simple, knife-ready dish
- unwillingness to listen to the client!
3. Administrator— assessment 1. In the presence of a client request and a difficult situation, unwillingness to understand and communicate with the client.
Now the facts:
1. Buckwheat porridge with mushrooms and truffle: you will have buckwheat with fresh, onions, finely chopped onions, no taste of mushrooms, but truffle oil is only on the menu pages. In fact, you are not breakfast, in the morning you turn to the aroma of onions. It was impossible to eat onions with buckwheat at all
2. Brioche with poached egg and guacamole - if the client is allergic to garlic and onions, which we warned about, we were informed that guacamole is ready in advance and with garlic. And they refused to replace it with just sliced avocado and a slice of bread. This means that everything is prepared from blanks. And the boss does not want to hear the customers and their peculiarities
3. Croissant— guys, this is not a croissant either in taste or appearance. We ordered a croissant with berries and cheese, but they brought it with cheese and sliced pears. Interestingly, it was in this dish that, without warning, the chef allowed himself to change the dish.
Result:
Complete disappointment from the breakfast, the boss and the administration.

truly one of the best places my picky ass has ever been. Here everyone will find their own corner: there is a smoking area, main halls, with warming tables on the veranda. Bohemian atmosphere, courteous and courteous staff. Cleanliness and well-groomed can easily be compared to a luxury hotel. The kitchen and bar deserve special attention: the same items that I order always and everywhere in Grunwald are prepared in such a way that when you mention the most delicious food in Minsk, by default you remember your favorite gru. I was most surprised when I found out that this is a cafe, not a premium restaurant. They only give out prices: everything in restaurants would cost twice as much. But I still do not recommend you to visit this place. I do not recommend it, but I insist that you spend the evening here. That's all I wanted to say.
