Ambience was good but We asked for a specific window side table but it wasn't given at starting but later they combined a small and big table but we had inconvenience to eat there due to sizes of table differing and food was ok not bad
I visited the GRG restaurant, which serves Belarusian cuisine, and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and the atmosphere.
The shingles are, perhaps, the star of the menu. They turned out exactly what they should be: crispy at the edges, soft and juicy inside, with a rich potato flavor. Additionally, they could be taken with sour cream or meat filling — a combination that will definitely not let you down. The portions are good and hearty, so one dish can be a full meal.
I also tried machanka, a thick meat gravy that is traditionally served with pancakes. The dish turned out to be hearty, as it should be. The meat is soft, fragrant, and the pancakes are thin and perfectly complemented the gravy. Great for those who like solid home cooking.
The atmosphere in the establishment is pleasant: modern design combined with elements reminiscent of Belarusian traditions. The staff is polite and knows the menu, ready to suggest what is worth trying if you are not familiar with the cuisine.
**Bottom line**: GRG successfully transfers the taste of Belarusian traditions to Uzbekistan
Great place!
I was here for breakfast today, I was very pleased.
First of all, the food: The Belarusian breakfast (pancakes with egg and beef bacon) was incredibly delicious, and the coffee was rich and fragrant. The menu is varied, you can choose a lot.
Secondly, a pleasant atmosphere: the interior is beautiful, there is a children's area.
We will definitely come back here!
An honest review of this institution. We came to have lunch with our family. We ordered a Greek salad, a baby burger, and bacon pancakes. They are prepared in this institution from semi-finished products and blanks. The draniki were cold inside, and the amount of dough in these draniki generally leaves much to be desired, with a large amount of flour in them. The salad had zucchini rolls with ice, very cold and obviously not the first freshness. The burger was brought to the child in a huge bun, and the cutlet was very salty (this is a children's burger, the recipe must be followed) . There was a lot of pulp in the apple juice, for some reason they didn't bother to pass it through a sieve, so instead of juice we drank smoothies with lots of apple cake). In total, 280 thousand in the trash. The price tag for this level of establishment does not match at all. The service and waiters are friendly. The portions and serving are completely inconsistent with the menu and Instagram ads.
Disgusting service.
They didn't bring our order. We decided to take what we brought, but the food turned out to be disgusting. The pancakes are half-burnt on the outside, and half-cooked inside:)
They asked to replace the dish, the staff apologized and brought pastries as an apology. Everything would be fine if it were edible)
As a result, our draniki were replaced, but new burnt and unsalted ones were brought)
In the final of this gastro miracle, the guys checked the prices not as in the menu. It should be a shame.
Incredibly delicious and the best pancakes in the city. And they are also very satisfying. For the price, it is one of the most inexpensive in Tashkent. I strongly advise you to come here.
Overall, a pleasant place, good cuisine. However, I came to have breakfast at 9:00, as indicated in the opening hours of the establishment, and on the door there is information that the establishment starts at 10. We'll have to find another place.
