We visited the restaurant on 09.05 and were incredibly surprised that in Polotsk there is such an institution where the food is incredibly delicious and the service is above all praise.
We came from St. Petersburg and we can say for sure that even some of our restaurants need to learn)
The guy and the girl waiters were as polite as possible, they told us about all the dishes and drinks. They recommended that you try it. The pitch is so fast that it is beyond all praise.
Now, every time we visit the city of Polotsk, we will look into your cozy and beautiful restaurant. We wish you further development and prosperity.

The restaurant is still one of the best in the city. The service is excellent. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. Each visitor is offered clean water, regardless of the order. Used napkins are removed "before you know it".... The dishes are delicious, they taste like home, or even better. They prepare quickly, you don't have to sit and wait for an hour. Draniki and beef cheeks are my special love in this establishment. And the dessert is pistachio!!! Clean, tidy, the price tag is affordable (but not cheap, of course). If it were possible to put 10 stars, then I would put all 10 in all parameters.

The restaurant is still one of the best I've ever been to! The service is excellent: the waiters are friendly, attentive, everything is brought quickly, without unnecessary reminders.
Food is a separate delight! The dishes are prepared quickly, and you don't have to wait long. Desserts are also beyond praise.
The restaurant is clean, cozy, tidy, and the atmosphere is conducive to a pleasant evening. The music is unobtrusive, the service is attentive but not intrusive.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Polotsk, it is located in a historic building, a hall with many windows, very bright and cozy. Decent classic menu, good wine list, interesting cocktails. Highly recommend it!

We were a family during the trip on the recommendation (my wife read it somewhere). A very pleasant and atmospheric place in the center of Polotsk. At the entrance, they meet, help, undress, you can hand over an umbrella (it was very useful to us, we got into the rain that day). The staff is helpful. An interesting interior, muted calm music was playing. We were satisfied with the cuisine, not oversaturated, but quite diverse menu - for almost every taste. The return of the dishes during our visit is quite fast. It is worth noting that the institution was about half full. I took a fireman's cutlet with mashed potatoes, my son - spaghetti, my wife - pancakes. Everything was cooked very tasty and it felt like the dishes were not heated, but "under the knife" (only cooked). We plan to visit Polotsk in the summer in the future, without a doubt this restaurant will be on the list!!!

I'll say 5/5 right away. Excellent cuisine, great staff, a large selection of drinks. Except beer. !Grand! !THE PUB! A pub with no particular beer selection. Grimberg is something simple, uninteresting, run-of-the-mill like everything Carlsberg does, and so is Cronenburg, only it's also a beer drink with juice. Well, even if you bring hopi lager and wheat from Lida, the same Robim Goode probably produces interesting other lines (I've probably never tried them). But the choice is quite sad.

We were with my husband and daughter for the first time on 08.03.2020. I booked a table through Instagram. Very convenient. They called me back, clarified, and confirmed the order. There were three of us, so we tried an impressive number of dishes). I am glad that there is such an institution where it is about eating, and not about having a snack! The food is really good, high-quality, thoughtful and in a modern trend. The chef's salted salmon salad is delicious, but the berry sauce is too much for my taste. Hummus is delicious, which is amazing for me with shrimp). The shrimps are wonderful! But hummus is very tender, I would add cumin, but I understand that the spice is not in demand in our region). The meat is fried as ordered! There was a glitch on the hot one. She asked me to make veal without mushrooms. The sauce was replaced, but there was a mountain of mushrooms on the veal! I'm not allergic to mushrooms, I just don't like them very much)! But for someone it can be vital! The girl who took the order seemed to say that there were no mushrooms, so it was strange that the mushrooms were on my plate after all. The grilled hot cheese was delicious. The kataifi shrimps are delicious, and so is the spaghetti. Desserts and wine are good)! Shall we go back? Absolutely! So far, this is the only institution in Polotsk-Novopolotsk where we really plan to return. It's like being in a castle inside. The waiters are pleasant, polite and go to the meeting. The place is popular, even the guides recommend it, it is better to book. We ate borscht, porcini chowder in bread, very tasty and beautifully served, the bread is very tasty. We tried Draniki with trout and machanka (very tasty gravy). It can be safely attributed to the main attractions of the city. It is absolutely mandatory to visit. It is worth mentioning the staff separately - they meet and see you off like a dear friend or even a family member. Thank you for suggesting a very scenic route to the Mound. It's difficult to rate restaurants in a city where diversity is a bit lame... On the one hand, I want to evaluate without handicaps, but on the other hand, I don't want to overly find fault with what the location can forgive.
Borscht: good, rich. I would add more meat.(It's there, but it wasn't enough for me) Serving with onion and garlic is excellent.
Draniki (tried with sponge and salmon) - they didn't come to me... The texture of the potatoes in the pancakes was almost gone, which made them look like pancakes...
About the fillings: there were a lot of gray pieces in the salmon (the binding tissue between the skin and meat) which went badly, I would have removed it.
The washcloth was like a fricassee...
Tea is delicious.
The service is good, the staff is attentive.
The interior is a little tired, but overall - no complaints.

We were in the restaurant twice passing through. (We returned on purpose for the second time)we liked everything so much. The kitchen is great! The portions are large. (It is for the restaurant quite)) we tried both the Belarusian menu and the classic one, everything is very tasty!!! The horseradish deserves special praise.
The service is impeccable.
(For comparison, we were in many popular places in Minsk, many positions are tastier in the grand pub)

Let's be honest. Today, among so many leisure facilities related to public catering and fine cuisine, there are few that can rightfully be proud of their purpose and have the right to afford it. Among the leaders of the HoReCa sector in Polotsk, there is no doubt that there is a restaurant, the highest level of service, and a Grand Pub.
How does he differ from his other "brothers" in nutrition? Firstly, the special atmosphere from the entrance to the exit, secondly, the convenience from the wardrobe and the restroom (which I am definitely delighted with) to the table, the accuracy and punctuality of serving dishes, gentle, attentive service, a wide range of dishes, drink and wine lists, highly professional staff of the cook staff – all this, combined, only a small part of those ideal sensations that deserve special attention. It's so delicious and beautiful, in our city, only Voichenko, Shemit and the Grand Pub can feed.
As for the pricing policy, before judging it, it is necessary to take into account the fact that units of cafes and restaurants have the opportunity to hire and train staff at the "premium class" service level. Why will they go to the Grand Pub? Because every ruble spent and the guest's expectations are justified and compensated.
My appreciation is high not only for the dishes, but also for their presentation, for welcoming the guests, and for the sincerity of the joy of this meeting, for the desire to serve and offset the anticipation of a conflict situation.
I wish the rest of you to grow, follow the example of the best, do not hesitate to admit your mistakes and be ready to change.

Wonderful meeting, attentive service, the cuisine is beyond praise. An establishment for sophisticated and discerning guests. I definitely recommend it. The check for dinner for three was in the range of 100 €. The staff rightly deserves a tip.

We were here on Saturday, April 5, 2025. At lunchtime. We ordered borscht, Caesar salad, croutons, beef tartare and barbecue ribs. Borscht is served on a wooden stand with a rye baguette with chopped bacon spread on it, as well as a clove of garlic and a few green onion feathers. The soup is rich, the meat is enough, the consistency is neither liquid nor very thick. Salad without comments, everything is classic. Tatar seemed a little dry, there wasn't enough gas. The ribs are perfect. Sliced new potatoes and fried vegetables, everything is delicious. The meat is very soft and properly cooked in a marinade. The dish consisted of three ribs, and only one rib had a bone, which pleasantly surprised me. The portion is quite large. The borscht and ribs were very satisfying for me and the ribs even remained a little. I lowered the star for the fact that all the dishes seemed too salty. That's probably why the waiters immediately poured everyone a large glass of water :)) the waiters did everything promptly and not intrusively. The dishes were prepared quickly and brought in the order we requested. The interior is pleasant. If it weren't for the salty dishes, it would definitely be 5 stars.

We read the reviews and went in..It seemed very expensive and pretentious..A girl greets him warmly, takes his outerwear to the wardrobe.There are glasses on the tables, and water is served before ordering dishes.The dishes are served very quickly and everything is SO amazingly delicious that you want to lick the plates. ➕Advantages:
atmospheric,
friendly staff,
very tasty (beef cheeks, mashed potatoes and artichoke in the photo),
beautiful,
live music (the girl performed) is wonderful,
the dance floor is taken out to the bar room, you can watch dancing from TV screens if you don't dance.
Cons:
the hall where we were sitting is located almost as soon as the door opens, so it was cold on the back,
the music was not according to the atmosphere, we actually danced willingly only to live music.
I would have come again.

Absolutely hyped reviews, I didn't notice anything good except the design and cleanliness, the advantages ended there. Long wait, the burger is better at mac than here. I didn't get the second course, so I had to cancel it because of the long wait. Wasted nerves, money and time. I had to go to another normal place, after this diner, there's no other way to call it. The employee was rude, I hope they will be reprimanded. 10.05 after lunch, unfortunately I did not remember the names of the employees.

This is the best food of all Belarusian restaurants. I have been to Minsk, Vitebsk and other cities. Both the cheapest and the most expensive. But I have never seen such an attitude of the chef to the dishes. As for the chicken pate, if there is a pate on the menu, I always take it to understand and check the level of cuisine. So I had never seen such a paste anywhere before - neither in France, nor in Italy, nor in any French, Italian or any other restaurants in Moscow. I've been to different countries and restaurants of different levels, including Michelin-starred ones in France. But their pates were worse, and much worse. Your pate is great!!!
It was May 9th, 2025, so I personally send my regards, thanks and respect to the chef and all the chefs of the shift who prepared these dishes! You guys are beautiful! Keep it up !!!

At the entrance, they warn that dishes from the main menu are prepared for 30+ minutes, from the lunch menu it is faster. In fact, the lunch menu was prepared for more than an hour. Yesterday we visited the Grand Pub for the first time on the advice of friends. After reading the reviews about this institution, we couldn't help but leave our own. A wonderful place for our city!!! Attentive courteous staff, cozy rooms, cleanliness, very tasty dishes, for which special thanks to the cook, all the dishes just melted in our mouth, we took ribs in honey sauce and meat plateaus. Separately, I would like to mention a variety of liqueurs and crusty bread on stones with various spreads. A nice bonus was a birthday cake from the establishment, which was presented by a cute waiter girl. I would like to pay tribute to the fact that the table was always tidy and with filled glasses, thanks to her and her pleasant young colleague. We will definitely visit again, and hopefully more than once. We wish the whole team prosperity and success!

The dishes are expensive and very small.
We were served by a nice and respectful girl and everything seemed to be fine, but when the girl left and a guy named Maxim came to her place. And so he immediately began to be rude and treated us in every possible way disrespectfully, to the point that he almost started kicking us out of the restaurant, and all because he saw that the girl had eaten her candy and because of this he made a scandal saying you can't eat your candy. It's just terrible what kind of respect. And it was seen and heard how other employees of the restaurant giggled and discussed us around the corner, which made it even more unpleasant to be there. Then we asked for the bill and left. We don't set foot in this restaurant anymore.

The prices are absolutely consistent with the level of the institution. It's a very beautiful pitch. Maybe the waiter's involvement was a little lacking: they asked questions about the kitchen, personal recommendations, but did not receive active feedback.
