I recommend the hotel. We just returned from there. A wonderful 4* hotel, many times better than those Turkish "fives" in which I rested. Now learn more about the pros and cons.
Positive:
Food: there is a lot of it and it is varied. If you don't indiscriminately sweep everything away, then there will be something new for the whole vacation. There are not as many fruits as we would like. Watermelons were given 2 times in 10 days. The main things were: melons, pears, dates, physalis, bananas.
Staff: all friendly and helpful.
Room: we had a large room with a sea view in the 4th building. To do this, we gave $20 at the reception and it was the best investment on vacation because it was quiet and secluded, unlike the main building, where music is constantly blaring and vacationers are always walking.
Territory: well maintained and large enough. It's nice to take a walk in the morning or evening.
Sea and beach: of course the gorgeous red sea, lots of fish, beautiful reef. Yes, a very small piece of the beach, where only children and their mothers can fit. But there are enough sun beds for everyone. Yes, the pontoon is not stable, but you quickly get used to it.
Now about the cons:
Vacationers: there are a lot of Ukrainians. I have nothing against it, but given the political situation, there is some tension. But without conflicts. Ratio: 70% Ukrainians, 20% Russians, 10% Italians.
Animation: there is almost no children's animation. Entertainment for children in the evening: playground. The children's disco is 20 minutes and very boring. It's obvious that this is a burden for the animators. There is a kids' club, but it is open during those hours when everyone is at sea.🤦🏻♀️ Children are bored in the evenings at the hotel. And adults, too,🙄 animator boys are even more or less funny, but why they keep animator girls there is not clear at all.🤦🏻♀️ this is clearly not their profile and they don't really want to amuse vacationers.
Alcohol: it's really bad here. From what you can drink: beer and red wine. Moreover, wine is served only for lunch and dinner in the main restaurant.
Snacks and snacks: also very weak. They give you French fries, cheese pizza and weird sandwiches.
Otherwise, the hotel leaves only positive impressions.👍
And so the hotel. A good four. You can say 5 with a minus.
It takes about 10 minutes from the airport. They bring it in and pick it up first.
Meals - 5. There is always something to eat. Everything is delicious. But the children's table is so-so. No one really takes anything there. The rooms are also good: they are not new, but they are not dead either, they are cleaned daily. Towels are changed every day. But the bedclothes don't seem to have been changed in 10 days, but that's not a problem for me... We checked in immediately upon arrival, we arrived at the hotel around 12.
The staff is friendly, but it has become more comfortable to relax in Egypt than in Turkey. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the main building to the beach, as well as golf carts to the beach. Towels are provided both on the beach and by the pool, which is convenient so as not to drag.
There are only 3 pools. One is heated, the second is for children and a huge main one. On the second day, rotovirus was detected in a warm pool, although they quickly went away because they had pills with them. There is a small island on the beach where children can swim from the shore, without aquashoos. There kids build sand castles, look for crabs, swim.
The reef is normal, it's on both sides of the pier. At first I thought there weren't many fish, they were all of the same type, but after a couple of days the tide turned and the sea became just an aquarium. We saw both moray eels and stingrays... in general, all of them)))) I do not recommend going on excursions, there are fewer fish there. Also, jellyfish swam to us, huge pink ones, but they somehow quickly sailed away somewhere, thank God.
What I didn't like was the zero animation. The guys still get turned on somehow, but the 2 girls are just not friendly and boring. In adult animation, it's complete nonsense, either drunken contests between mis and Mr. Hotel, or belly dancing is danced by one woman. It's just nonsense. But animation is absolutely not important to me. But the child really wanted to, the age is like that... There is an Arab woman in the baby club and the children do not go to her, probably the language barrier prevents them. But you can go there with your baby, for example, together, the baby club is located on the beach. There is also a playground with swings and a trampoline...but that's okay, my child found friends and they were their own animators))))
Next to the hotel is a 10-minute walk from Soho. There is also a delivery service there.
More importantly, after the eviction, the bracelets are cut off and you can not use the dining room, only drinks and food are on the bar, but this is not only in this hotel, but in many hotels in Egypt. If you want to go to a restaurant, then pay😅. This is a huge disadvantage for all Egyptians.
In general, I would say that this is a very decent 4. I would even give her a 5-. If you are currently choosing whether to come here or not, go ahead and you won't regret it.
