The hotel is located in the very center of the city, so all the sights and beauties of the infinitely beautiful and beloved Old Town are within walking distance. But the Hotel itself is a historical and architectural landmark of Ljubljana! This is a great example of the Vienna secession! The interiors are distinguished by elegance, you get sincere aesthetic satisfaction from them, my wife and I even try not to ride elevators, but to walk down stairs of extraordinary beauty. In terms of the convenience of living, the Grand Hotel Union is, from our point of view, in all respects extremely adapted for a wide variety of categories of a very demanding public. There is an underground parking lot where your car is taken and then, if necessary, taken out by special employees. The rooms are varied and more than comfortable, there are even apartments in the style with their own kitchen)) The last time we had a room with an exercise bike, and on the serving table there was a dish with fruits and sweets, with water and glasses, with a serving set with snow-white napkins)) The room has everything you need for life - bathrobes and slippers, a safe, a large set of high-quality toiletries, air conditioning, a coffee machine with capsules, a kettle with a set of different teas, a corkscrew)) and much more. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant. And one important advantage is that breakfast starts at 6 am! My wife and I always get up very early, such an early breakfast makes it possible to go for a walk around the city or on a further trip without wasting time. Breakfast is great, any, the most picky customer, will find food to his taste there - from buckwheat porridge of two types of cooking and pancakes with pancakes, to two kinds of omelets, fried bacon and sausages, I'm not even talking about vegetables, mushrooms, cottage cheese. In addition, tired of the day, you can relax by spending the evening in the wellness center on the top floor with a swimming pool overlooking the Castle, with a gym and saunas. All this is included in the price! The hotel has extremely polite and helpful staff, ready to fulfill any of your requests. And despite the extreme occupancy in the season, we never had any problems with noise, it was always very quiet on the floors. At the same time, the street in front of the hotel is closed, pedestrian, only special vehicles occasionally enter there. Thanks to the Grand Hotel Union for our annual comfort, we hope to stay there next year

Excellent location, well-maintained rooms, courteous staff, plentiful breakfasts.
The disadvantage is the low pressure of hot water on high floors.
