The hotel itself is very nice and cozy, the room is small, but it has everything for life. I liked the restaurant in the hotel and the spa! Thai massage is great. From the hotel, take a taxi very close to the famous Medeu! Clear. The service is excellent.

The beautiful architecture of the building is the main trump card of this hotel. The designers tried to keep it in the Stalinist Empire style and they did it well. The furniture is all cut up, but it's massive.
Breakfasts are normal, but coffee! It's hard to imagine a worse mess, the coffee in the bar helped out, it's already an extra for breakfast. There is no kettle in the rooms, and in winter weather this disadvantage is felt especially strongly. The hotel has a spa with real Balinese women, which adds a zest to this place.

A very pleasant place. And the pool with sun beds is very good. We lay in saunas, in a wet pair with aroma.
The girls at the reception are very nice. And the guards are polite too. The service is fast. Everything is brought to the room at lightning speed.
Our flight was delayed. Our rooms were not given to anyone, although we were decently late. At the same time, we paid for check-in on the spot, and not in advance. And the hotel's workload was high at that time.

The hotel is located almost in the center, close to banks and restaurants (within walking distance). The hotel is old, the rooms are small, but there is everything you need for business trips! But what I came across was a terrible allergy in this hotel. I think the allergy is related to the air conditioner (dirty) and the constant spraying of common areas with some fragrant chemicals. Since I suffered all 5 days of my stay, it never happened! The first night I almost suffocated, from the second day on strong antihistamine pills and nasal sprays. I told the front desk about it, but I don't know if it will help?
Overall, the service at the hotel is good. Cleaning and replenishing water daily.
The hotel has great breakfasts and restaurant service, for 5 points out of 5. The pool is under renovation, sauna and hammam for 3 out of 5 points. In general, the hotel is not bad, but personally I would be afraid to stay in it a second time because of the chemistry.

The room is lovely, the hotel is a bit Soviet, but very well designed in terms of design..it definitely cannot be called a family one..We chose it with the children to spend the weekend at the spa. What was our surprise when we were almost allowed into the spa. And the thing is that on Saturday, entry to the spa for children over 6 years old is only until 15.00, while check-in is at 14.00, and on Sun, entry to the spa for children is generally prohibited. So if you are planning to relax with your children, it is better to choose another hotel. But we went to a meeting and were allowed to stay at the spa on Saturday until 18.00, but in general we had more than enough

A cozy, comfortable hotel in the city center. I attended a conference that took place at this hotel. The hall is quite large and comfortable. There is a large screen, air conditioning in the hall, comfortable chairs (the event lasted from 11.00 to 17.00 with a lunch break) I would also like to thank the waitress girls at this hotel. Polite, beautiful. In a special form. They look like flight attendants. They look very impressive. Cappuccino coffee is very tasty and what you ordered (salad, soup) is served beautifully and most importantly delicious.
The hotel administration kindly provided a hall, everything was carried out as planned.
I advise guests of the capital to visit this hotel. Or residents of the southern capital can hold any corporate event where it is comfortable, cozy, clean and polite staff.

Nice hotel. The location is good, everything you need is within walking distance. The service is good, the staff is helpful. The SPA is generally excellent, the pool is deep 2.5 m. The baths are complete. The rooms are large and spacious, and there is a daily water supply from the restaurant. The breakfast is varied, you can order scrambled eggs or an omelet. The hotel is located in the city center, next to the Ascension Cathedral, Almaly metro station. The hotel itself is tired and not comfortable. Maximum of 3 stars: 1.There are no sockets for charging the phone next to the bed. There are one at a time, but they include lamps, there are no other lamps or main lighting in the room. You turn off one of the lamps - the sockets turn off - the phone does not charge at night. 2.The air conditioner is noisy. 3. The mattress is normal. The pillows are not comfortable, they are stray, the blanket is terribly heavy. 4. I left at 5:30 for an excursion - I did not get hot water. 5. There is no kettle and everything for tea /coffee in the rooms, I asked for coffee in the morning (at 5:30) - they said no. At the same time, I had breakfast included. Only order through the restaurant. 6. There are no blackout curtains - at 5 a.m. the sun looks in the window. 7. The pool did not work on August 4, although the website says from August 3. I forgot to add that I lived in a standard and an improved room - there is no difference in equipment, furniture and set. Except for the bed, it is smaller in the standard. The standard is even more convenient for one person. The hair dryer is terrible. The first hair dryers in the world - you can't dry your hair.

I stayed from December 01-05.
My rating is lowered, for the reception work. There are great difficulties with timely paperwork, provided that the documents were requested from the moment of booking, upon arrival, upon check-in, the day before departure, as a result, the documents were done when I already had to go to the airport.
There are also problems taking into account the mini-bar, it is better to take pictures of what was there when you checked in.
It's nice inside the hotel. The rooms are clean, but there are nuances, I had a cracked sink in my room and cracked tiles at the sink. The big disadvantage of the room is that there is little light, the main light is only in the entrance area to the room and the restroom, there is no light in the bedroom, only lamps, sockets are inconveniently located and there are few of them, plus, when you turn off the light, they turn off, it is problematic to charge gadgets at night. (room 219) (unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the room)
The breakfast is not bad. You can have a snack. The restaurant staff is helpful.
There is a good SPA at the hotel, there is a high and pleasant service. A cozy gym with all the necessary equipment. I'll put 5 for the SPA*
The rating of the hotel is 3-4*, taking into account price and quality.

Breakfast standing up is such oriental hospitality.
Kazakhstan is the 31st country I have visited.
I've been to different levels of hotels, but I've never eaten standing up!
The number is 38,000 tenge per day.
At breakfast, all the tables were occupied, and it was at about 8:30, breakfast until 10.
I turned to 3 (!) waiters.
I was offered either to ask for a busy table myself, or to sit at the bar.
Such issues should be handled by the staff!
There were 3 single travelers at the counter.
And everyone was just as "delighted" as I was.
And there was 1 man sitting nearby at an 8-seater table.
Not only is the hotel not suitable for the number of guests who were there, but the staff also made the situation worse.
I do not consider it necessary to describe anything more.

I really liked the spa, excellent massage, large swimming pool,separate saunas for men and women, clean,attentive staff. The Deluxe room is nice, especially liked the mattress, blankets and pillows, super comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, there is plenty to choose from. The room service works perfectly, cleaning, changing towels and hygiene supplies, drinking water, everything is as it should be. We found a beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby of the hotel, it's a pity that all the decorations were removed a day later
Among the disadvantages, they noted that there is a decent audibility of everything that happens in the corridor from the room, the cards (keys) from the room are demagnetized, you have to go down to the reception and woke up at night from a strange sound coming from the card holder🤷
In general, the hotel left a positive impression, we will definitely visit again!

The room stock is a little outdated, but the service smooths out all the points. I would like to mention the good attitude of the staff towards the hotel guests, but I also want to mention the hotel itself! Of the advantages, a good location opposite the park, not a bad lobby, but further in the room it was something! Instead of an interesting view of the city, I had to watch a cellophane film stretched over the window. Looking at the wallpaper in the room, it is clear that he has not seen the renovation for a long time! Almost all the joints on the wallpaper have parted, there are dark spots near the ventilation, under the ceiling. There is a separate story with sockets! If you want to turn on the phone for charging, you will not be able to find a free outlet! They just don't exist! They are occupied by connected lamps (there is no central lighting under the ceiling in the room). When the TV was turned on, the picture was visible by 30-40 percent. After the arrival of the repairmen, it improved only to 50-60%. At the same time, the installers themselves said that they have a very weak signal! Conclusion: this number is not worth the money. When booking and checking in, no one warned about the "gorgeous" view of the cellophane. I think that these shortcomings definitely carry reputational risks for the hotel!

A recent visit to the hotel left a wonderful impression, which completely ruined everything in the end. The fact is that your concern for visitors during the Holy Month of Ramadan, where you took such great care of your visitors by organizing early breakfasts in the room, was beyond praise. Good location. A hotel with a claim. But it feels a little tired) This is especially true for key cards, which are constantly demagnetized (away from the mobile phone and other gadgets). And the receptionist confirmed that "our magnets are weak"
The staff is friendly, always ready to help. There are no questions about cleanliness at all.
The rooms are not very large, there were deluxe and standard single rooms. The furniture is the same in quality, the difference in area and additional chairs. And the deluxe has a bathtub (although a shower would be more convenient). Weak TV (interference on most channels). The neighbors didn't bother (most likely, the sound insulation was good, because the hotel was almost full).
On the ground floor, a children's room is being completed (well, it seemed so according to the furniture).
A restaurant with a standard set of dishes. The breakfasts (included) are not too varied.
There is a cigar club on the third floor. Very cool surroundings! To sit there, you need to take something (coffee, wine....).
Separately, I would like to mention the SPA on the ground floor. There is a swimming pool, a gym (my husband visited, was generally satisfied). Cool masseuses (not a word in Russian), the booklet on the types of massage is very clear and describes in detail the features of each type and who can / cannot do it. For inexperienced users, this is the most important thing))
Overall, a good impression. The hotel justifies its 4*.

Convenient location, the hotel has SPA treatments (swimming pool, baths, massage), the receptionists understand Russian well, although they themselves are not verbose. The room is spacious, clean enough, although the renovation is no longer fresh, but the cleaning was carried out regularly. The breakfast was a buffet, the variety of dishes and the taste pleased. The windows faced the street, so you could hear the hum of cars. The impression remained positive.

There is a large selection of food for breakfast, but in fact there is not much to eat, because even the scramble that they bring was cooked a few hours ago. It is difficult to adjust the temperature of the water in the bathroom — it jumps all the time and tries to scald. It was not possible to smoke in the cigar room — the staff did not allow it, which is strange, they smoked outside. Otherwise, against the general background, it is quite a normal hotel for a couple of nights.
