A very unpleasant situation has occurred. I left the ring in the toilet 2 minutes apart and didn't find it in place.
I was passing by, I really wanted to go to the bathroom. In the vicinity, it was the nearest institution. I went to the toilet, realizing that it might be unpleasant for the staff/establishment (I don't like that myself) that passers-by only use the toilet, politely asked if I could use the restroom. When I was washing my hands, I took off two rings, one white gold and one brass, because brass deteriorates from water, and put them on the countertop with the phone. I wanted to dry my hands, but the air was very weak, so I didn't put on the brass ring, I put on only the gold one. It seemed that she put it in her jeans pocket along with the phone. I went out, walked with my husband for a couple of meters, realized that there was no ring in my pocket. And immediately ran back in. The ring is already gone, I looked at everything in the bathroom, I didn't drop it anywhere. I asked the waiters and the girls at the checkout, and I asked the staff who cleaned. No one saw, no one contacted. There were several separate groups of guys sitting in the cafe, as if they hadn't managed to use the toilet yet in those couple of minutes. I know for sure that I didn't leave it somewhere else, because the ring is heavy and difficult to remove from the finger, it is always felt on the hand.
Stupid and unpleasant. The ring is inexpensive and not some kind of precious metal, but immaterially it is very valuable to me. Unfortunately, there is only one thought in my head, unscrupulous staff.
