One of the most beloved theaters in Minsk. A large selection of productions of various genres for every taste. The general atmosphere in the theater leaves a pleasant aftertaste. The acting is always at the highest level. I've been to many performances, some even several times, and I've never left disappointed. The only drawback is a long queue in the women's toilet before the performance and in the questionnaire

Today, on December 29, 2024, at 14:00, we attended the play "At the Behest of the Pike" at the Central House of Officers.
What a wonderful performance!
Bright, lively, cheerful, positive!
Harmonious in everything!!!
The artists played amazing! They believed everyone. Alexander Girenok as Emelya is definitely good. I worked with the gym (with children). And how easily and naturally he danced in a modern style! Tsarevna Nesmeyana (Elena Stetsenko) and her scenes when she wants something, but definitely not what her Mother offers her, are so immersed in our ordinary life with our ordinary children and their "I want/ I don't want, but I'll scream a little!" - this is beyond praise! We were laughing, thank you! How the Princess's Mother danced (Veronika Plyashkevich) - delight! Complete dedication. Applause! All the actors played great!
I really liked the costumes. Solid, new, modern. It is clear that they are made "with their heads". The colors are perfectly matched. There is no feeling of "I made it out of what it was." Thank you so much - these are the best costumes that I have personally seen. In this performance, in general, everything is fine with the color! A very pleasing performance to the eye! The scenery is lovely. Everything is done competently and with taste. A furnace of magical beauty and a royal throne too. There was no overload, there was enough of everything, and no more was needed. I got an aesthetic pleasure from the picture.
In terms of duration, everything is fine, not too long, not boring. Lively and diverse. There were enough songs (calm ones alternated with cheerful ones), dances, and dialogues. They sang live.
A performance with modern elements and they were appropriate. There was no overkill. I'm fine with jokes, too, and I wasn't ashamed of them either.
My husband said after what he saw that he would not go to the cinema anymore after such a performance by actors! It's worth a lot)
The performance "At the behest of the pike" surprised and pleased us! Let's make it our annual family tradition for the New Year. It gives a festive mood. Definitely better than any New Year's play. It's much more interesting!
And yes, Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden were there too, playing with the children.
For all ages, the performance will appeal to everyone. Go boldly!

I really like the theater. The performances are wonderful! Especially the musical "The Count of Monte Cristo", I watched it several times. And I would like a wish. Since the theater is currently "gone" for major repairs, I would like the stalls to be redone. It's just terrible!!! A very gentle slope. And, if you are not sitting in the front rows, unfortunately, you will only have to listen to the performance. Do it like in a Youth Theater, rows of seats are on high steps. Everyone can see everything from any point.
I hope that the management of the theater will listen to this proposal. And we, the audience, will be even more pleased to visit our favorite theater.
