The hotel was built in 1929, then it was just Cecile, and it was immediately recognized as the best in the city. Since then, of course, a lot has changed, but it is still gorgeous by local standards. There's a retro interior, a stunning open (lattice cabin) elevator, and a very atmospheric bar on the second or third floor. Solid Egyptian four stars!

The hotel is located in the heart of the city of Alexandria, on the waterfront. It is suitable for exploring the city, but not for a seaside holiday. The most illuminated building on the embankment. It's nice and clean inside. An interesting elevator. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and the room has everything you need. The breakfasts are normal. The prices in the restaurant are much higher than in the city, but the food is good. On weekends there is a disco on the ground floor.
