I was in Semipalatinsk on family business, and stayed for a week.
The hotel in Semipalatinsk (Semey) has a very cozy, warm atmosphere. The people at work are wonderful, kind and helpful. And what delicious breakfasts. Yes, it's not rich, but it's simple, fast, and all dishes are always served with a smile.
Of course, the hotel's room stock is tired, although when I was there (February 2025), the elevator was repaired. The rooms are small, cozy, warm., wi-fi file catches on each floor without restrictions.
Transport and walking accessibility are free because the hotel is located in the city center. You can walk to any place you need, at a brisk pace in 10-15 minutes. Of course, if you need to go somewhere far away, then a taxi is called through the Yandex Go (Kazakhstan) application and a car arrives, you can track it on the map and a friend takes you where you need to go. Payment is made in cash only.
I am attaching photos of those around the hotel within walking distance, as well as photos of food. Everything is very tasty and beautiful. There is something to please the eye. After all, my homeland.
I recommend the Semipalatinsk hotel. The people there are wonderful. I work with all my heart.
The hotel is from Soviet times, the floors creak, the rooms are below average if you just close your eyes and spend the night. It was on May holidays, why were all the hotels occupied, I had to spend one night. The building itself has potential, of course, but it needs an owner who will put everything in order, make the necessary repairs, and throw out the old sofas, but by the way, their mattresses are surprisingly very decent. The staff is polite, but a little indifferent or something, the girl at the reception was sitting and watching the video, which
