A great mini-hotel! Everything you need to stay is there! We stayed for two days, the room is nice, the beds and pillows are comfortable, there was always water in the bathroom and warm too! They gave me a hair dryer, I returned it to the reception at the check-out! There's always someone from the staff there! People are responsive, there is tea, salt, sugar, vegetable oil in the kitchen, and all the dishes! We talked with the neighbors, drank tea, exchanged impressions! If necessary, you can wash your clothes, there is a washing machine in the kitchen, buy a capsule for 5 rubles and wash it! And most importantly, we came to see the Brest Fortress, which is a 10-minute walk away, and Sovetskaya Street is also a 10-minute walk away! We liked everything! Nice mini-hotel! Thanks to all the staff!
Mini-hotel Gogol is located in a residential area of Brest, from the window of our room we could see a cozy courtyard with a playground. It took 15 minutes to walk to the Brest Fortress memorial complex at a leisurely pace, as it was necessary to cross several highways and wait at the crossing. There are very pleasant receptionists at the reception who are ready to help, tell you the necessary information, even give you a map with the sights of Brest. The hotel has a fairly large communal dining room where you can prepare your own meals and use the refrigerator, microwave, kettle, convenient! One of the disadvantages is that the floor in the room is either not cleaned at all, or it is cleaned, but poorly, with long hair and dust everywhere. Since we stayed for one night, I limited myself to talking to the receptionist upon departure... There is no cafe or restaurant very close by, which is also not always convenient, you have to stomp for 15-20 minutes. Of the pleasant and tried-and-tested food, I recommend the restaurant "By the Lake", which is located in the city park, which is almost half an hour away, and the cafe "Forget-me-not" near the entrance to the Brest Fortress, also at 20 minutes. Overall, the hotel is not bad and budget-friendly, it can be used for a short stay.
The hotel is in an apartment building, so there were no problems with parking. The room was quite strange: 1. The living area is small, we two adults were not comfortable. But the bathroom!!! He is big, BUT, in my opinion, stupid. With a huge size, a small shower cabin. While taking a shower, the curtain stuck to the body. There is no hair dryer in the room, so if you are without your hair dryer, then run downstairs to the receptionist.
TV. This is a separate topic. It is suspended from the ceiling, it is unclear how to look at it!It looks like only standing up. If you decide to watch it from the bed, then this number will not work for you, The one who weighed it did not even consider it necessary to observe the angle of inclination comfortable for viewing. So, there seems to be a TV, but it's not there. You can listen to it like a radio, in the background.
2. Kitchen. A large room with two two-burner plates. One electric kettle for all rooms. There is no cooler! They say (the administrator) that you can drink water from the tap!! They didn't take the risk. There is a washing machine. One wash - 5 rubles, 1 capsule - 5 rubles. They didn't wash it. There is one common refrigerator, the shelves are divided between the rooms (signed).
