We took the 2016 Prius with left-hand drive. There are no special complaints about the car. It goes smoothly, low consumption, except that it pulls slightly downhill. But this is not essential.
The company also has a big plus - the car can be picked up in one place and returned in another. We took it in Sukhum, returned it in New Athos. It was a matter of principle for me, so respect is here. This is a unique service that I have not found from other landlords. For a fee of 500 rubles. they can even pick up themselves at any address. For 700 rubles. the car can not be washed at the time of delivery. Respect for such a set of services.
Now about the unpleasant.
No one likes to lose their money, even small ones like 5000 rubles or 1000 rubles, especially on vacation. And certainly no one will complain or sue over this money, especially in a foreign country. You'll just get a little upset, and if you're not too lazy, you'll write this review.
As usual, when booking a car, a deposit is paid in advance, which will not be refunded if the car is refused. I must say right away that this is just such a company that really does not like to return money to customers. Including the deposit. The calculation, apparently, is for a one-time service, and I don't care what impression the tenant will have.
Well, I made a reservation in advance, paid 1000 rubles. deposit. We agreed to get a car in Sukhum in the evening. We stopped outside the city ourselves. On the day of receiving the car, we decided to take a walk and walked so much that by the evening we were only thinking about how to get a car as soon as possible and get home. There was no thought of any refusals, especially then you will lose 1000 rubles. collateral (it will not be returned) and you will look for a new car, which we definitely were not set up for.
The manager arrives in the promised Prius, and suddenly it turns out that he not only has a left hand drive, but also in the best American traditions - a speedometer in MILES and a thermometer in Fahrenheit. And no one warned about this.
Another surprise was the condition of the agreement that the landlord deducts 2,000 rubles from the deposit for each speeding above 99 km/h. You understand, right? The speedometer is in miles, and the threshold is in km. And there are several reasons for outrage at once. First of all, you need to WARN about this IN ADVANCE. Secondly, why the hell is the Landlord taking my money if I didn't get on camera and he didn't get a fine? This is also a UNIQUE option that other landlords do not have. Therefore, you can start looking for another office right from this place. It's not even that I like to exceed the speed limit. Not at all. I did not exceed it, and nothing was deducted from me in the end, although they gave the deposit with obvious reluctance (including with special predilection they tried to find new scratches on the body). The fact is that I'm on vacation, and I don't want to worry too much about the slightest speeding. And since the speed in the car is in miles, I had to bother. By the way, this is inconvenient not only because of the fine from the landlord. In Abkhazia, in general, the signs of restriction are strangely placed. After 90, it can immediately be 30. And every time, in order not to violate, I had to either look at the speed on the navigator, or convert miles in my mind to km. It's easier with Fahrenheit, but it's also a pain in the ass.
The second jamb - unlike other offices, the car was brought with half a tank. Accordingly, you also need to return half of it. But how to measure it exactly? As an experienced person, I advise you to be a little short in this case, since no one will pay for the overflow. They literally twisted my head when I offered to forgive me for washing the 700r car off the overflow. They said: well, I poured a little (there were just 10 liters there), we didn't ask you, this is your gift, if you want, go, roll it out. I didn't argue, what's the use? Just spoil your mood.
In general, if I had known about this in advance, I would have taken the car elsewhere, as I will do another time, which I wish you.
By the way, I know firsthand about good landlords. For example, I previously rented from Timur in Pitsunda. When returning the car, he shook hands, thanked him for careful driving, and wished him a good rest. I didn't look at the car through a microscope. And even earlier we rented a car in Gagra. So there the owner could help even in case of problems with traffic cops. I want to say that when a company is customer-oriented, the customer feels it and returns. But this is not about cars.
Read other reviews. With fines for excess and undersupply of fuel, it is stable here.
At the same time, the biggest problem, I repeat, is that they do not warn about this in advance.
