A great modern airport! Located in the city of the same name adjacent to the shopping center, there are many locations for shopping and snacks. There are WaPass terminals where you can generate a card to pay for services and goods by investing any currency there, except rubles, unfortunately.
It was in April... we flew in from China, quickly got off the plane and very easily and naturally ran into a giant queue at passport control. About 6-7 control windows were working and there was even a woman pushing everyone to the border guards on purpose ... but for all that, they stood for 1 hour and 35 minutes. Everyone was standing-Chinese, Japanese, Filipinos, Russians, Americans, everything. There is a queue in the corridor of ribbons. The photo shows the cherished red monitors far ahead ... take bottled water and a snack from the plane, stand for a long time, there are no shops inside. When they approached the window, they began to fuss and get KETA, hotel reservations, travel plans - they all say it is necessary. But in fact, the border guard takes and checks only the KETA and your passport. They don't ask anyone any questions at all. Okay. Then they found an ATM (there was a choice of two) and withdrew cash just in case (they came in handy for a deposit amount at the hotel and for souvenirs). We tortured the ATM for five minutes, by default everything is in Korean and we poked for a long time to find English, and when we found it, Russian turned out to be there! We activated Uber and ordered a taxi, 26,500 KRW went to the center (the Palaces district). In general, this is an old and small airport, a little tired, almost not automated for passport control, queues everywhere, there are several shops and cafes inside. One undoubted advantage is that it is almost a city line and you can get to the center in half an hour. There are buses to the metro, to the center, and taxis. A giant queue at passport control is a minus.
