In the summer, I drove the bmw z4 to fix the bumper + paint. The fix was to solder the broken part from the donor bumper onto the original bumper.
I stopped by for the first time in order to evaluate the work and the approximate amount of repairs and deadlines.
Everything was arranged, they promised to do it in 3-4 days. In principle, the standard time for such work.
When I gave the car away, they asked for a deposit.
I didn't bother with calls for the first 4 days. At the end of the 4th day, I called to find out how the process was going. To which I was answered, call the director, I have a day off.. I call this derektor and hear in response, "I'm at the symposium right now, I'm very busy, I'll call you back." I didn't call back.
I'll call you the next day. He says we're making a car. I ask how much more to do? The answer killed. "Maybe an hour, maybe two days, I do not know."
I call after the weekend, I ask how are you doing?
He says they tried to paint, but they didn't like the "shagreen" and re-ordered the paint. The director does not know how to lie, because he does not fumble, he would say they did not hit the tone, it would be more plausible.
As a result, after 8! days later, they call me and say that the bumper mount is broken and I need to order it.
When you remove the bumper, you immediately see the fasteners are broken or intact. That is, it turns out that the car stood for 8 days just like that!
Instead of "we'll do it in 3-4 days," it took 14 days.
14 days of summer for a convertible was taken away from me by this stupid director.
I have no complaints about the employee Dmitry, he did his job well, despite such a leader.
There are two lessons from here:
Do not give advance payments for repairs
Don't go to this paint shop
I repaired the doors and rear bumper on a Subaru Forester in white mother-of-pearl. They were repaired and painted perfectly, even got into the color without any transitions. The price has not changed during the repair. They were issued on time. I recommend.
I still have negative impressions. There were questions about the build quality and the condition of the car interior after repairs and warranty work, disrespectful attitude to their customers accompanied by obscene language
