A normal mid-level hotel. The rooms are simple, the bed is clean and new. It's a bit inconvenient that there are no shops nearby, because the location is on the outskirts of the city. But considering the low cost of a taxi and the lack of traffic jams, it is acceptable. To get to the city center, a Yandex taxi costs 400 tenge. I think the price tag is too high in the hotel restaurant, but it was delicious.

I stayed at the General Hotel during a business trip, the hotel is cozy, there is everything you need. The rooms are clean, the sound insulation between the rooms is normal, but it's quite noisy from the street, because the hotel is near the highway. I lived in the room "Africa", everything seems to be in place, but it's terrible dark, some kind of pot hangs on the chandelier, because of which there is practically no light. Although the rest of the rooms are bright.
In the morning there is a delicious breakfast.
The staff is excellent, polite, always help if there are any questions.

If it were possible to put a minus 5. I would have bet. It's terrible, it's cold, the room is terrible, the style of the room is trash, it's cold. Take a hat, a fur coat and felt boots. Lighting is better with your own flashlight. The bed is like a baby cradle, it's scary to go to the shower even in a diving suit. When booking, immediately check whether breakfast is included in the price, otherwise there will be surprises in the morning. All negative emotions cannot be expressed in words. 🤦🏻♀️👎👎
