Great cafe. We were celebrating my husband's anniversary.
I really liked it. Delicious Georgian cuisine.A warm and warm atmosphere.Polite staff. Special thanks to the chef!
Thank you for a wonderful evening! I recommend to all my friends to visit the "Genatsvale"
Hello, having visited this establishment for the first time, we hoped for an incredible atmosphere and delicious dishes. As a result:
- The location of the establishment is not bad.
- Are the toilets closed and how to get into them without asking aloud in the common room?! Hang up the sign and leave the keys with the normal key rings on the counter. I don't really want to feel awkward.
- The waiters look neat, but not attentive. There is no service as such. They brought it and left completely. The room was empty, but when they wanted to ask for the bill, they had to distract him from talking to his friends, since he did not respond to words and gestures about the request.
- When the order was made, my young man was served all 2 dishes, and I sat and watched for 12 minutes as he wanted to eat, but he was uncomfortable. They didn't bring me anything but water.
- How can there be so much fat in the dishes? It's an incredible amount, having visited different establishments and cities for the first time I see this.
- It tastes like a solid 3 out of 5. Not bad, but there is no desire to return.
We learned about the establishment from the poster of the gastrofest, but decided to visit it later - outside of this event. It was probably only at the gastrofest that people tasted the refined dishes. Because I don't recommend just coming for lunch or dinner.
It all started out relatively cool, and we found a place surprisingly quickly. And then the trash started: 3 dishes from the menu are not available, but no one said so initially.
As a result, chicken soup is tasteless from the word at all, it is not possible to eat. Ojahuri pork is unrealistically tough, some of the vegetables are half-cooked, it's not realistic to eat. Khinkali is too salty. Anyway, I'm not coming here anymore.
1. There wasn't enough atmosphere, but it's not critical.
2. Very long cooking of hinkali
3. The cook fell in love very much and they brought us over-salted fried khinkali with mutton (boiled classic ones are slightly over-salted), which they refused to eat and as a result they refused to pay.
The receptionist refused to remove this position from the receipt - this is not acceptable in a catering establishment, providing a 5% discount!!! The politeness and refusal to change the check with motivation immediately disappeared - it's cooked. But it is not possible to eat, therefore the marriage should not be paid for by the client. As a result, I had to pay for 2 fried khinkali and happily leave the establishment.
4. The dough at khinkali is delicious
The food is cooked very tasty, really a delight.
But there is a comment and a wish for the institution - this is the greeting of the administrator! In addition to the chef, the administrator is a very important person in every restaurant. Guests should be met, offered and escorted to a table and, at the end, ask if they liked everything and invite them to visit your restaurant again. The image of the institution is formed from such trifles!
Special thanks to the cook, only thanks to his kitchen I will definitely come back again on occasion!
Very tasty!!! We were with the family, everyone liked everything. The portions are large, the prices are average.
I really liked the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, quiet and not noisy.
They also waited an average of 10-15 minutes, drinks were brought quickly.
The interior is interesting and deserves a visit
There are no compotes, uzvar, chacha and homemade wines.I would say there is not a particularly large selection of dishes. And the prices are higher than in other establishments of Georgian cuisine in the city.Alcohol is very expensive.Soft drinks include Georgian lemonades for a lot of money, pepsi in jars, and water without gases.Juices.
It's a quiet place.Without music.
We visited this restaurant. We ordered chkmeruli, 2 out of 5, garlic was barely felt, sour cream peeled off. Adjarian khachapuri deserves 5 points, it's really delicious. But the ordered Grub was upset, it was just water with pepper, there was no rich taste of spices and aromatics at all, they did not eat!!! But it's a plus for the institution that they excluded him from the bill. I would definitely not come back again.
Quick feed. Everything is delicious. And it's beautiful. Excellent work of the staff in helping to choose the dish. Thank you. We will arrive in Brest. Let's go there again.
It's a great place. The dishes are very tasty, pleasant staff, short waiting time, not expensive, pleasant and cozy atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.
Instead of beef, they brought an ankle of a horse, and proved that it was a cow, when asked to bring a glass of milk, they said, eat the cow and don't talk, one thing was cool that they sat near the toilet and could enjoy farts from the bathroom, the bill was brought separately, so the neighboring table paid for itself, the administrator during the reception, I was eating soup from a plate, and when I took my jacket, I wiped it with greasy hands, and then hung up the jacket, it's just terrible, one of the advantages in this institution is the exit through which we safely left!!!
This is not the best Georgian restaurant, not the most pleasant interior, and the cuisine is not the best, BUT there are rich soups, fragrant khachapuri and the main thing is that this place opens very early relative to other restaurants!
Georgian cuisine restaurant. You need to be prepared for fatty and spicy foods. This is for an amateur. But the atmosphere is great. A very charismatic chef)
We came to have dinner with our colleagues. We have been to Georgia many times... we were pleasantly surprised by the service and serving, the speed and quality of cooking. The atmosphere is for communication, not for filming. Quiet, cozy and delicious. The prices are affordable. Khinkali, as in Georgia. The Moldovans
We happened to be in this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The waiters are polite, the service is fast, the food is decent, the menu includes classic Georgian dishes - khachapuri, khinkali, chanakhi, etc., the prices are quite adequate
I have only positive impressions of this restaurant, everything was great. I ordered ostri and pomegranate beer, everything was brought very quickly. I was worried about ostri, because after my vacation in Georgia it became my favorite dish, and there was a fear that ours would not be able to cook as well. I was worried for nothing, it was very tasty, and I think that all the other dishes in this restaurant will also be able to cook well. I liked the beer too, it was unusual. And if it were possible to throw a sixth star, I would give it for the staff, very friendly and lovely girls
Prices don't bite, which is also a plus
In general, 10/10, I recommend it, and I will definitely come back when I'm in Brest
Convenient location, minimal Georgian entourage, friendly waiters, fast and beautiful service. These are all advantages. We visited this restaurant in the afternoon at the Gastrofest, took two festival sets. What can I say, the taste is below average, there are only traces of meat in the dishes, although in 38 r it was possible to cook something worthwhile. Conclusion: the restaurant took advantage of the Gastrofest promotion, but could not adequately advertise itself. A three.
The staff is polite, the food is very tasty, the atmosphere is pleasant, the entourage is at the highest level, the prices are pleasant, the food is brought quickly, while they are not prepared from semi-finished products, khinkali is molded themselves
The restaurant is cool, I advise everyone!
I visited this institution with my wife and was pleasantly impressed! The staff is polite, the cuisine is delicious. Yes, there is an expectation, but it's worth it. It feels like khinkali is not just cooked frozen, but made upon your arrival, which is a big plus! So we can wait. The atmosphere in the establishment is good, homely, with pleasant Georgian music in the background.
I read the reviews-I don't believe it! Competitors are probably messing around
We visited the institution for the first time, ordered a set participating in the gastrofest. Pleasant and fast service, delicious and hearty dishes, I advise everyone to visit this place, you will be delighted.
It's a wonderful place, everything is very, very tasty, and especially khachapuri and khinkali, just like in Georgia! The service is excellent, all the waiters are very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely come back again, we really liked everything. We wish you prosperity!
The overall impression is pleasant. Interior: we felt a little uncomfortable because we were sitting at a table in the aisle, quite close to the neighboring large tables. For some reason, no music was playing, after all, the Georgian cafe could turn on music for the atmosphere. It's patched up in places, for some reason what chairs and tables were piled up at the entrance. There are no questions about the kitchen: the portions are quite large, delicious. It is strange that khinkali is from 5 pieces of the same type, there is no set of different khinkali. Basically a good cafe
Very cozy homely atmosphere 👍Friendly waiters, and sooooo everything was delicious, thanks to the chef for the very tasty dishes.Who wants to eat , homemade delicious food , I advise 👍🤗
Everything is cool! The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is too, the kitchen is on top! After chacha, however, I do not recommend switching to vodka! And so in general everything is fine
We were there in the evening, about an hour and a half before closing time. Very clean, tasty, fast, polite. The music is unobtrusive, Georgian. No complaints! That's all right
I came from Grodno for the second time. The best Georgian restaurant I've ever tried. It is very tasty and the service is at the highest level. I advise everyone to visit this institution.
It was always delicious, I considered it the best place in the city, until one time the khachapuri was already cold, the waitress threw the plate on the table and ran on, upset
Of the advantages, I will note the interior.
But we go to a restaurant to eat delicious food, especially if it concerns Georgian cuisine.
I suddenly wanted a meal, I found a Genatsvale restaurant on the map.
I can't say anything bad about the service, we came right up and accepted the order.
I ordered Kharcho and Georgian bread.
The wait is 20 minutes.
The grub turned out to be completely tasteless.
There is no salt, no pepper, no tkemali at all.
Just tinted broth with rice and 2 pieces of meat.
The bread turned out to be stale.
Maybe I was just unlucky with the dish, but I write as it is.
We wanted Georgian cuisine, we went to this house of Georgian cuisine, we were dissatisfied with the quality of service and cuisine, if you want to wipe your hands after khachapuri, you need to go to the waiter with dirty hands, because there are no napkins on the table, like salt and pepper, khinkali with disgusting meat, roast with a huge amount of oil to this is at least something to eat, my husband soaked the fat with a napkin
For 72 rubles in our account, only khachapuri, beer and cocktail are normal
Terrible zayevedenie
Among the advantages, a wonderful picture with interesting lighting in the center of the hall creates a proper entourage and, together with a table and chairs, even somewhat resembles the famous "Last Supper".
Khachapuri: slightly over-dried and the cheese did not mix with the egg. I'm also used to having cheese in the crust, although the dough is delicious. You can serve it on a slightly larger plate, it will be more effective.
Dolma is not very tightly wrapped in a leaf, you can have a little more minced meat, although juicy and fragrant.
Khinkali with cilantro is great! The broth is delicious in them. But again, put it on a plate more carefully, and not carelessly artistically.
Price/quality satisfied
We went in for lunch, we wanted to eat soup. By 14 o'clock, none of the three soups are on the menu. It's a shame, but okay. We ordered rubber hearts, they don't chew. Beer was ordered 0.5, 0.3 was brought instead - it also ran out. That is, they brought the most tasteless leftovers, they didn't even apologize. There's no one in the hall, how could it all end? Pomegranate beer is a nightmare, it is impossible to drink, it smells like alcohol, it feels like it was taken in the worst pub. We didn't ask if we liked the three-star service. Well, at least they'll read it in the review. We do not recommend it, it is a pity for the money and time spent.
It was a disgusting place, the order was waited for 50 minutes, and after a long wait, the fried fish was brought half-cooked, the alcohol was vodka in a decanter with white flakes.
The decor of the interior is solid 4, the staff is restrained without unnecessary shaking by 4+, the serving speed is beyond praise with confidence 5+, the cook has definitely cooked them more than once and knows exactly how they should taste 4+, the average check is 40 percent higher than in the city. The only negative, but I don't want to remove the star for it, it's very stuffy in the room (maybe there were some problems with ventilation that day)
I definitely advise you to visit
A wonderful restaurant. Good cuisine. Georgian dishes. I really liked the accordionist. I suggest that Brest residents visit this restaurant at least once.
We booked a table on Monday for Saturday for the gastrofest, on Friday we called them to clarify that we have coupons, but we did not mean to say that only for three hours the table is from 5 to 8, because the gastrofests are taking place, naturally this did not suit us, we were disappointed that we were not informed in advance about That's why I had to quickly look for another place!!!!
Great!!even "5"+!!!
The assortment is wide, all the dishes that we ordered were cooked delicious and fast.Special thanks
to the cook! Maintenance staff at the level of👍
I don't recommend it.
Khinkali with coriander are over-salted, I will only note that it feels like they are really cooked before the arrival of guests, they do not cook frozen.
Khinkali in Adjarian is just a shock.
The filling should be at least 3 cheeses, but at least there should be suluguni and something from cottage cheese. But those are one suluguni and so that it is impossible to stir the yolk in the filling!!!!
The dough is 2 times more filling, which is also not a traditional performance.
Yeast is felt in the dough, which means it intervenes quickly.
In general, there are certain unchangeable postulates of Georgian cuisine, but these dishes here, especially khachapuri, do not correspond to the generally accepted norms of Georgian cuisine in Georgia as a whole, Minsk, Gomel, and other cities.
I saw a similar review about khachapuri from another visitor, I regretted that we did not get acquainted before ordering.
+ The place is not bad, themed, cozy inside
- The service is disgusting, does not correspond to the status of the institution. The menu doesn't match what they bring you. They also cheated on the money. Added extra items to the bill.
P.S. Avoid this place.
We were at the gastrofest. The food is not very Georgian, I liked only khachapuri. The wine list is unexpectedly sad: There are 5 types of Georgian wine, although we represented a greater variety. The waiter is an intern, he doesn't know anything... The customers brought their own alcohol... We watched them)) They asked to change the table, as the lighting was right on top of the head, it was uncomfortable. The chairs are uncomfortable too. We were refused, as if we were waiting for someone. But no one came, even when we were about to leave. In short, there is only the name from Georgian... Who likes the Soviet atmosphere and still likes the comfort and atmosphere - you are here...
Thank you for the pleasant atmosphere and delicious dishes, we had a great rest with our family!
prosperity to the General Staff!
now they have a gastrofest and you still have + 2 votes from well-fed customers)))
