This restaurant is the worst place I've ever been! The food is simply disgusting, but even that pales in comparison to the boorish service. The waiters were rude, ignored requests, and behaved as if they were doing a favor by simply taking an order.
Yes, the view is beautiful, but does the view compensate for inedible food and humiliating treatment of guests? I will never come back here again, and I advise everyone to avoid this place.

Awful. I can't bring myself to call it a restaurant.
They ordered some Chakhobili, as if they had just cooked chicken in the dining room. The service is also terrible — the waitress touches, interrupts and confuses the order.

The place is top. I was there 2 times. Both times it was very satisfying and delicious. There were quite a few items on the menu for us as a vegan. From mushrooms and potatoes to Aveluk salad and pickles. I wanted to try some more positions, but I couldn't do it anymore.

The restaurant itself is very cozy, the atmosphere is chic and the view is even more gorgeous. The prices for such a place are reasonable. We ordered greens, beef and lamb kebabs and lula. The greens were not spared, the good fresh varied, the bread was also not spared. But the portions with shish kebab are very small, made of lamb for an amateur, I didn't really like it, lula and beef shish kebab are delicious.

The monastery complex itself will not leave anyone indifferent, and as for the Ijevan restaurant at the entrance to Geghard - it's something very tasty!!! Hot tortillas, delicious matsoni in pots, lamb in a tondir is a separate art-the meat departs from the bone -it's enough just to prick it with a fork. As for the view that opens up to visitors, there are no words-only emotions😍 the view of the rocks, the cliff, the soul just rejoices. Thank you for such an institution

Despite the fact that there were very few people in the cafe, they could not come to us for 20 minutes to accept an order. The check was also carried for 20 minutes. And the attitude towards Russians is completely different than towards the locals (they took the order faster. I gave 2 stars only for the fact that the food was delicious and for the beautiful view. It is already cold to sit in October, and the tables are only on the street, blankets do not save.

We ordered shish kebab, fish, and compote.We waited a long time for the bill, and eventually brought in an amount more than expected.They began to check, the receipt was completely in Armenian, the waiter translated, there were four items in the receipt that were not ours (bread, lavash, greens, cheese plate were entered) for a total amount of 7000 drams.After our outrage, they carried a new check for a long time, did not apologize.There was also 10% in the receipt for the service, they wanted to refuse, but this is impossible.

A wonderful place! We came from Russia in a big company, we were brought here by Armenian friends after going to the monastery. Beautiful view of the mountains, snacks before hot: vegetables, cheeses, greens - perfect! The fish is cooked locally, caught from a mountain river, it tastes amazing, we haven't even tried this in Russia. Dried fruit compote, a large selection of wines: both pomegranate and blackberry, above all praise. The service is fast, very polite, and hospitable. I read the negative reviews, it's unclear why this is so ... if we ever come again, we will definitely visit this place again!

The amazing professionalism of the waitress (unfortunately I do not know the name) made me feel like visiting good friends. We wanted to have a little snack. The greens, salads, cheeses, cherry compote and hot thin pita bread served (to the taste of the waitress) were very tasty and appropriate. In my opinion, this is exactly what hospitality looks like.

Returning from the monastery, we drove past, saw that there were a lot of cars in the parking lot, so people stopped by and ate, decided not to look at the reviews, which was very in vain.
From the good, beautiful view and courteous service.
The kitchen is one of the bad ones.
We ordered a barbecue of beef, chicken and potatoes on the grill. The beef kebab and potatoes were brought in 5 minutes, 5 minutes, 5 minutes if anyone does not know it is 300 seconds.
How can you cook a beef kebab in 300 seconds?!!
Naturally, it was not freshly cooked meat and potatoes, but just a little heated in the microwave.
The same applies to the chicken kebab (it was brought 5 minutes later and it was slightly better to reheat) so are the potatoes.
By the barbecue itself:
Beef is not hard, but burnt.
The chicken was burnt, one piece had a "smell" and it was clearly not spices.
The potatoes are just burnt.
The conclusion is this: in good weather, stop by for coffee, eat a cake and admire the view - that's it., but no more, the kitchen is terrible
I hope that my review will help someone make the right choice in the future.

Perhaps we were lucky, but my husband and I came here to eat after the temple, and were very pleasantly surprised after such negative reviews. The food is fresh, delicious, and both meat and vegetables were brought freshly fried 15-20 minutes after ordering. The waiter was an elderly, polite man. Everything is super nice, the view from the terrace is incredible. We had a lot of fun.

Everywhere before that, where they ate salad, cucumbers were brought peeled, here cucumbers were cut into very large pieces, and unpeeled, because of this some were bitter.
And according to the mango, there are doubts that they make everything fresh, and not warm it up. Not a single bite was noticed on the cheese kebab at all.
Plus, wasps and flies were not allowed to eat properly, constantly spinning 4-6 pieces around the food. They no longer ate, but drove them away.

They will bring you a menu with real prices and pretend that this is your problem. To some extent, it is. So if you don't want to solve such problems, I don't recommend this place.
