This restaurant is the worst place I've ever been! The food is simply disgusting, but even that pales in comparison to the boorish service. The waiters were rude, ignored requests, and behaved as if they were doing a favor by simply taking an order.
Yes, the view is beautiful, but does the view compensate for inedible food and humiliating treatment of guests? I will never come back here again, and I advise everyone to avoid this place.
This restaurant is the worst place I’ve ever visited! The food was disgusting, but even that pales in comparison to the rude and disrespectful service. The waiters were impolite, ignored requests, and acted as if they were doing us a favor just by taking our order.
Yes, the view is nice, but does a pretty view make up for inedible food and humiliating treatment? I’m never coming back and strongly advise everyone to stay away.
The restaurant has a beautiful view of the mountains and cliffs. Inside, the room is suitable for events, outside it is very warm in summer. The kitchen is normal. Tsovinar was well served.
Clean, nice veranda with mountain view. Everything was very tasty.
Despite the fact that the place is intended more for tourists, I recommend it!!!
You can pay with a card.
Excellent service and delicious.
Special thanks for the master class on making lavash. Very beautiful views from the restaurant to the forest and mountains!
A great restaurant of a decent level with stunning views and location! I advise you to visit! Delicious cuisine, friendly staff and service, clean inside (including the restrooms)! We enjoyed it very much at your place
Awful. I can't bring myself to call it a restaurant.
They ordered some Chakhobili, as if they had just cooked chicken in the dining room. The service is also terrible — the waitress touches, interrupts and confuses the order.
The only good thing was the view
Over-salted lula of chicken is unclear of what composition, definitely not breast fillet. Half-baked, half-baked potatoes. Lean veal soup without any flavor. Very long cooking time with very few guests. An obsessive hostess.
The place is top. I was there 2 times. Both times it was very satisfying and delicious. There were quite a few items on the menu for us as a vegan. From mushrooms and potatoes to Aveluk salad and pickles. I wanted to try some more positions, but I couldn't do it anymore.
The restaurant itself is very cozy, the atmosphere is chic and the view is even more gorgeous. The prices for such a place are reasonable. We ordered greens, beef and lamb kebabs and lula. The greens were not spared, the good fresh varied, the bread was also not spared. But the portions with shish kebab are very small, made of lamb for an amateur, I didn't really like it, lula and beef shish kebab are delicious.
The monastery complex itself will not leave anyone indifferent, and as for the Ijevan restaurant at the entrance to Geghard - it's something very tasty!!! Hot tortillas, delicious matsoni in pots, lamb in a tondir is a separate art-the meat departs from the bone -it's enough just to prick it with a fork. As for the view that opens up to visitors, there are no words-only emotions😍 the view of the rocks, the cliff, the soul just rejoices. Thank you for such an institution
Be careful! Taking advantage of the fact that the account is in Armenian, they cheat. We were alone with a child, 8 coffees were slipped into our receipt)) The service is extremely long. Despite the fact that there were very few people in the cafe, they could not come to us for 20 minutes to accept an order. The check was also carried for 20 minutes. And the attitude towards Russians is completely different than towards the locals (they took the order faster. I gave 2 stars only for the fact that the food was delicious and for the beautiful view. It is already cold to sit in October, and the tables are only on the street, blankets do not save.
This is a wonderful restaurant above the gorge!) There are such views and such a location - a delight for the eyes, and food is a delight for the taste and olfactory receptors!! It is very tasty and the prices are affordable!)
Keep track of the score, they cheat, the system is "rolled". On September 9, the company came to this institution in a good mood. We ordered shish kebab, fish, and compote. We waited a long time for the bill, and eventually brought in an amount more than expected. They began to check, the receipt was completely in Armenian, the waiter translated, there were four items in the receipt that were not ours (bread, lavash, greens, cheese plate were entered) for a total amount of 7000 drams. After our outrage, they carried a new check for a long time, did not apologize. There was also 10% in the receipt for the service, they wanted to refuse, but this is impossible.
A very good restaurant with a beautiful view, we came from Garni, had lunch there, if we knew that there was such a restaurant here we would not have dined.
Great view, friendly hosts and delicious cognac and wine)

A wonderful place! We came from Russia in a big company, we were brought here by Armenian friends after going to the monastery. Beautiful view of the mountains, snacks before hot: vegetables, cheeses, greens - perfect! The fish is cooked locally, caught from a mountain river, it tastes amazing, we haven't even tried this in Russia. Dried fruit compote, a large selection of wines: both pomegranate and blackberry, above all praise. The service is fast, very polite, and hospitable. I read the negative reviews, it's unclear why this is so ... if we ever come again, we will definitely visit this place again!
A wonderful place! Great view and delicious food, wonderful staff! Bread is baked on the spot. This is the second time we've been there-we really like everything.
Everything is OK except for the huge number of flies that flock to the food. Employees don't care about such an outrage. Well, the food, not to say that it is tasteless, but to say that it is delicious would be untrue. It used to be better here.
The magnificent view, the adult pleasant waiter, almost everything else is not very good.
Lamb kebab — one fat;
Chicken kebab is incredibly salty;
Lavash is stale, although they make it right here, but apparently they decided to bring us yesterday's
Very tasty dolma and homemade cherry compote
Edible after long walks, but generally so-so)
The price is fine - a hearty lunch for three went out at 10900
The amazing professionalism of the waitress (unfortunately I do not know the name) made me feel like visiting good friends. We wanted to have a little snack. The greens, salads, cheeses, cherry compote and hot thin pita bread served (to the taste of the waitress) were very tasty and appropriate. In my opinion, this is exactly what hospitality looks like.
The food is not delicious. I do not recommend it. Pork and lamb kebabs are generally terrible . One fat . The service is at zero . The only view is good. And they are expensive
The view is beautiful, of course, but the service leaves much to be desired. The waitress, firstly, did not hear the order and brought it incorrectly, and secondly, decided not to specify the taste of lemonade and brought the first one she came across, although there were different ones available. The toilet is cold, there are no desserts.
Beautiful view, delicious food. Good service. There was nothing superfluous in the receipt. We took a shoulder of lamb for four and barely finished it.
Returning from the monastery, we drove past, saw that there were a lot of cars in the parking lot, so people stopped by and ate, decided not to look at the reviews, which was very in vain.
From the good, beautiful view and courteous service.
The kitchen is one of the bad ones.
We ordered a barbecue of beef, chicken and potatoes on the grill. The beef kebab and potatoes were brought in 5 minutes, 5 minutes, 5 minutes if anyone does not know it is 300 seconds.
How can you cook a beef kebab in 300 seconds?!!
Naturally, it was not freshly cooked meat and potatoes, but just a little heated in the microwave.
The same applies to the chicken kebab (it was brought 5 minutes later and it was slightly better to reheat) so are the potatoes.
By the barbecue itself:
Beef is not hard, but burnt.
The chicken was burnt, one piece had a "smell" and it was clearly not spices.
The potatoes are just burnt.
The conclusion is this: in good weather, stop by for coffee, eat a cake and admire the view - that's it., but no more, the kitchen is terrible
I hope that my review will help someone make the right choice in the future.
P s the cars that were parked were the cars of the staff D
Good afternoon to all future guests of this restaurant, I will leave an absolutely sincere comment from me and our company, which is quite fastidious and capricious in terms of service and maintenance....we have seen and tried a lot of things in Armenia, and believe me, there are much more pretentious and expensive establishments....and with regard to this restaurant, the staff is very friendly and friendly, the service is unrealistically prompt, which is very important for Armenia, since almost everywhere there is a rather amoebic (slow) execution of orders, and specifically in this restaurant we were looked after UNREALISTICALLY quickly...... we heartily recommend)))
Perhaps we were lucky, but my husband and I came here to eat after the temple, and were very pleasantly surprised after such negative reviews. The food is fresh, delicious, and both meat and vegetables were brought freshly fried 15-20 minutes after ordering. The waiter was an elderly, polite man. Everything is super nice, the view from the terrace is incredible. We had a lot of fun.
We went in to eat, ordered beef and potatoes, brought the order literally in 5 minutes, as a result, the beef is barely warm, 99 percent of it was just warmed up, the potatoes on the grill are also barely warm. Considering that the order was delivered in 5 minutes, we conclude that the food is at least yesterday's. They brought fried chicken to a friend, warmed it up more strongly, apparently for appearance, but it tasted like a couple of days for sure, tea with Chebritz was also ordered, they just brought warm, in a direct sense, warm water. I do not advise anyone, well, only if you are a fan of heated food
We were there in early August, the view is super, the food is delicious, the wife came up and gave her pita bread straight from the tandoor and for free, the price tag for the food is not expensive.

A beautiful view, perhaps that's all. The waiters are unhurried, there is no sense of hospitality. The food is ordinary, nothing special, there are places where for the same money or even cheaper - in Garni they will feed much better and tastier.
Everywhere before that, where they ate salad, cucumbers were brought peeled, here cucumbers were cut into very large pieces, and unpeeled, because of this some were bitter.
And according to the mango, there are doubts that they make everything fresh, and not warm it up. Not a single bite was noticed on the cheese kebab at all.
Plus, wasps and flies were not allowed to eat properly, constantly spinning 4-6 pieces around the food. They no longer ate, but drove them away.
The cuisine is excellent, he will bring you a menu without a price or with old prices. When this is found out, they will not apologize to you, smile, offer you something back or some kind of compliment for a misunderstanding. They will bring you a menu with real prices and pretend that this is your problem. To some extent, it is. So if you don't want to solve such problems, I don't recommend this place.
A terrible place, they ordered a sterlet, brought 5 small pieces of fish that were terribly not tasty, I do not know how it was possible to spoil the fish like that, but they wrote in the bill that there was 1 kg of fish, and in fact there were 500-600 grams, this was even confirmed by another waiter, but then he naturally retracted his words!!! the service is also so-so! Chicken kebab and kebab are more or less normal! Apart from the view, there is nothing good here!!
