The hotel itself is normal, with a good location. Clean and with normal-sized rooms. But some rooms don't have windows to the street. The breakfasts are specific, according to the local flavor. The children have nothing to eat there. But mostly the score is lowered for another reason. Subject to booking 2 months in advance and arriving at night, the owners reported that there were no rooms in the hotel, people did not leave, and settled in a neighboring hotel for 2 nights out of three, where there were tiny rooms and there was no hot water. Then the water appeared, it turned out that someone had turned off the valve, and apparently it was us. At the same time, they refused to give a discount and counted the cost of the initial booking. As an argument, they used that they called and asked in advance if it was possible to temporarily settle in another one. We didn't agree, but no one cared. If you don't want unpleasant emotions, look for another alternative. There are plenty around, at the same price.
A wonderful, hospitable, welcoming hotel, with an authentic design. The host, as relatives, will tell you everything, show you and direct you to the best places in Bukhara, thank you for your hospitality!!!
I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. The hotel may be new, but the owners of the hotel are a nightmare.
Absolutely arrogant, arrogant people who do not respect their guests, they do not care about them at all, do not fulfill their obligations and do not understand anything about the hotel business at all.
We booked through booking a family suite (that is, a room with 1 double and 1 single bed). We arrived at 14.00, that is, they should have already prepared our room for our arrival. The hotel owner talked to his son about something, and the son said, cancel the booking and we will give you a 10% discount (I was stupid and canceled), then they started saying wait a bit, we will prepare now - we had to wait for an hour, during which time our child fell asleep. An hour later, we were invited to “our room”, which turned out to be the room of the innkeeper's wife, in which there was not even a free place where we could put our things. After the child woke up, we told the owner that we would not live in this room, that we were not his relatives and the money was paid for a hotel room, not for a bed. But he said that there were no places and he would be able to move us only tomorrow morning, promised a room with windows facing the street, but eventually gave us a room with a window to a hotel with 1 double bed (that's another pleasure - the stale air all the time, we had to sleep with the door and window open).
Cleaning - they never cleaned up, and even the garbage was not thrown out, not to mention the bottles of drinking water, which, in theory, should be given fresh every day, they were given only upon check-in. By the way, the bed is not ironed, I hope that at least it is washed after each guest.
The breakfasts are very very meager, fried eggs, pies and rolls. There were no fruits, vegetables, porridge, cottage cheese. At the same time, the owner of the hotel said that he sooooo cares about his guests, including the little ones who cook porridge and so on.. There was never any porridge. Since it was an early check-out, we asked for a lunch box (they threw 3 pita bread with cheese and tomatoes, 1 white bread and 1 chicken pie into a bag), they did not give us water with them - for 2 adults! As they say, do not deny yourself anything, dear guests.
The day before, they were told that there would be an early check-out, at 5 a.m. We packed everything in the evening, and at 4.30 we planned to get up quietly. Where at 4.25 the innkeeper's wife, without knocking, just brazenly opened the window (because it went inside the gstinitsa) and began to say something loudly to us, we made a remark to her that it was not necessary to invade us. It was just the cherry on the cake.
And one more thing - absolutely not tactful people. We have a small child who can cry sometimes. In general, the owner of the hotel, one afternoon began to tell us that they say he does not bring his grandson to the hotel so that he does not scream and so on.. we were blown away by such a hint. The sound insulation in the hotel is just terrible. And in general, if you do not want children, you do not need to make such an option on the booking. Or cancel the reservation yourself. In general, I do not recommend this hotel.
