I don't know how it is now, but 11 years ago we liked everything. Quiet, cozy. The beaches there are almost all quite rocky and poorly equipped, but since they are state-owned, you can't show this minus to the hotel.
A nice cozy hotel. A great place for a relaxing Greek holiday. A beach place across a small road, a great viewing point for a gorgeous sunset. There is no pomposity, overeating and a large territory: everything is cozy, sporty, beautiful, the food is varied and nutritious for all ages, fruits, delicious wine and beer. This hotel is favored by the French, Germans and Poles - good-natured couples. We went with three sons. I really liked it!!!!!
A good hotel for your money. The beaches in Crete are municipal. An umbrella and two sun beds are 6 euros this year. I liked that the hotel is at the end of the embankment, it is quiet. If you walk along the shore to the left, then there is a very good entrance to the sea. Animation in French. Vacationers are not very eager to play, there are few people who want to. The animation is not here 😊
The rooms are standard, towels are changed every day. I honestly don't like it, because we need to protect natural resources. In Turkey, you need to put a towel on the floor if you want to change it. About the food: not here for the delights. But the food is good. Eat enough olives, sugar watermelons, cheese melts in your mouth. The turkey is tender. Stuffed tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant. The bread is delicious.
About the reception. I don't understand dissatisfied people. All issues, in the end, can be resolved with a representative of the company. They are very friendly. In short, "hello, that's the answer." If, according to the rules, the eviction is at 12, then it is not surprising that they ask to pay extra for meals.
Two pools, one with sea water.
And very close to the cave of Zeus, the Palace of Knossos and the archelogical Museum in Heraklion. I recommend visiting these excursions.
It is impossible to be dissatisfied with a vacation in Crete! The magical sea and air 😍 rested in August 2019
