It's not a place for the picky, I'll say it right away.The island is small, you can get around in 10 minutes, there is enough greenery, lizards run and flying dogs fly. 😊 The beach is very clean, there is a reef and a lot of wildlife: turtles, moray eels, rays, manta rays, sharks and lots of colorful fish. 😍 you can go kayaking. People walked around the island mostly barefoot. The staff is very friendly and helpful 👍 the food is mediocre, the taste is average, but you won't stay hungry 😊 the rooms are clean, cleaned every day. There is a kettle, hairdryer, refrigerator, air conditioning. There is a Wi-Fi connection. There is shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, no soap.
We swam in the ocean to our heart 's content .

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights from 02 to 08 September 2024. This is the first time in the Maldives, but before the trip I studied in detail and thoroughly the peculiarities of holidays on the islands and prepared perfectly for everything. I also knew quite a lot about the Eriyadu Island Resort hotel from video reviews and reviews on many resources. I was well aware that this hotel is a resort from the budget price segment, and therefore there were no unreasonably high expectations from the hotel itself.
Nevertheless, the rest was wonderful! We were very worried about the weather, because the beginning of September is not the season in the Maldives. However, only in the first 2 days there was sometimes a short rain, the rest of the days the sun shone, there were rare clouds in the sky. It was perfect! It turns out that you may not be lucky with the weather in the Maldives during the season: from November to April. The worst thing is when the islands are covered by prolonged cyclones with strong winds and rains. The weather here is absolute luck and it doesn't matter whether it's the season or not. And this fact greatly affects the delivery of tourists on time, because all logistics on the islands depends on the weather and time of day. Planes and spitbots set off only in good weather without thunderstorms and strong winds. By the way, we were met from the plane that arrived before sunset, waited with a hotel sign and put on a speedboat. We drove to the hotel in the dark, and only the numerous islands of the archipelago of the Northern Male Atoll shone. The hotel is located in the northwestern part of the archipelago of islands, it took an hour to get there. Contrary to the tradition of the hotel, we were not greeted with a welcome cocktail and warm towels. We just waited at the reception for a while, after which rumboy escorted us to our villa. We had booked a beach villa (deluxe beach villa) with the all inclusive type of food. I think it was the best choice for this hotel! You can save a lot by not buying additional drinks and food. The hotel has very expensive drinks for payment. Moreover, the tour from the tour operator ICS Trevel Group with an awfully long flight with transfers through Shanghai cost us a very reasonable price. It was the first time we flew, and there are no complaints at all. Everything is clear and on time. Package tours for the Maldives are much cheaper if you catch the right moment to book, or, like us, choose an incredibly long but inexpensive flight option.
The second important point. There is nothing to do in the hotel without at least basic knowledge of English. All staff communicate only in English.
We got villa 229, opposite the largest beach on the island and next to the beach bar, which was open all the time during our vacation, and there was a good selection of drinks on the all-inclusive system. Bartenders in bars and waiters in restaurants ask for the villa number and transmit the order data to the reception, where the bill is totaled by the end of the holiday. We periodically checked the bill to make sure that we did not enter other people's orders and took only free drinks for us. Everything was fair: there was nothing superfluous in the bill.
Of course, if you are lucky with the weather, you will see all the beauties of the Maldives on this island: turquoise clear water, snow-white sand and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The water temperature is approximately the same throughout the year and time of day. Even in the early morning at dawn at 6 a.m., it was comfortable to take a dip for cheerfulness. It always gets light and dark the same way - from 18.00. There will be beautiful views on any of the beaches, and the island is so small that you can get around it very quickly and choose the most beautiful locations for photos at any time of the day. In the evening, after sunset, it was less interesting. From entertainment: billiards, table tennis, a tiny gym, animation in a large bar, contemplation from the pier at large beautiful fish that are forbidden to feed, and tasting alcohol and soft drinks and cocktails at the bar. I slept well on the island! A great place to relax and have a good rest for reasonable money.
There were no expectations from the room, everything is as in the reviews and photos. We were hardly in the room, especially at the beginning. Everything you need is there. The air conditioner was working, although there were suspicions that it was not working at the set temperature. On sunny days, I had to hide in my room after lunch from the active Maldivian sun. It's almost the equator and you can burn out very quickly and easily. I took SPF creams with a high level of protection, and when they were not used, the sun managed to brown very quickly. I highly recommend hydro-jackets and shorts or leggings with SPF protection. This will help to avoid burns on the water. There are beautiful reefs with fish, small sharks and turtles on all parts of the island, and you will definitely forget about caution when watching them with a mask and with a snorkel. Fins are necessary for those who swim at the edge of the reef. Sometimes a strong current can carry you unnoticed into the open ocean water, and only flippers will help you cope with it and return to a safe depth. We had the wind and strong current for only one day. Well, at the moment of high tide, the current increases. I was not friends with fins, I swam only in coral slippers closer to the shore. For careful and poorly swimming people like me, on the island on a large beach in the reef there is a path cut along which you can safely swim and admire the fish. Masks, snorkels, and fins can be obtained free of charge at the diving center and used for the entire duration of the all-inclusive vacation. You can also go kayaking for free for an hour a day. Of course, we were happy to take advantage of this opportunity, and with the help of a water jacket for the phone, we filmed wildlife on other reefs around the island. In an hour, you could safely go around the island by kayak.
To enter the water, be sure to bring coral slippers. Everywhere there are fragments of coral that can unpleasantly injure when entering the water. But in general, going into the water on the beach is very pleasant! You can safely walk around the island barefoot. There are no unpleasant insects in Eriyadu Island Resort! No one has ever bitten us during our vacation. Every 2-3 days, the island is treated for insects. This is a huge plus of this hotel. I read and saw photos that at other resorts in the Maldives of the same price segment, people were bitten by sand fleas and mosquitoes.
I will return to the conditions of accommodation and room service. Everything is simple, but clean and has everything you need. Cleaning of the ubiquitous sand twice a day. The linen had not been changed once in a week, but it was normal. The swimming cloths should be left on the veranda, then they will be replaced with clean ones. For some reason, 2 days before we left
, they stopped changing them. I also threw towels on the floor in the bathroom, otherwise there would be no shift.
A huge minus of the climate: it's very humid there and nothing dries at all. Therefore, personal belongings had to be put in the laundry to be washed and dried properly. Exactly one day we had our clothes washed, dried and ironed for free (with all inclusive). You must ask the rumboy for an invoice and mark the number of items handed over. This service is very necessary and convenient, especially for those who live a little longer.
Food. Everyone has their own opinion about nutrition. I will express mine personally, and I am very demanding about food. I really liked everything! The food was perfect for me. Yes, there is no such choice as in Turkish hotels. But I perfectly understood the complex logistics of delivering the islands and appreciated what they cook and give us at the hotel. I stick to a diet of protein and vegetables, but how can I deny myself excesses on vacation? The desserts were just right for me! Not very sweet and mostly in the form of souffles - just a delight. I took fruit slices every meal: watermelon, pineapple, papaya-when would I have eaten it again? Ice cream was also available for almost all meals. My favorite breakfasts at Eriyadu Island Resort are the national dish of tuna on a flatbread, egg dishes and vegetables. Of course, coffee and pastries. At lunch and breakfast, too, everything was very tasty. Yes, the dishes are in a circle, but there is everything you need, even without frills. I have never eaten so much tuna in different types! He was in hotels in Turkey on holidays, but here he was an ordinary dish at all meals, along with chicken. The beef was also perfectly cooked. All kinds of side dishes (except our buckwheat) and an abundance of vegetable side dishes. And especially for those who are on a healthy diet. Surprisingly, I liked the sausages. Not a bad beer. There were all-inclusive snacks in the big bar between meals, but we never ate them. I sincerely do not understand those who do not like food. What do you eat at home? Yes, there are no cheeses and milk. But sometimes you need to rest from this too. Eriyadu Island Resort has everything the body needs! I live in a city where milk is produced, and I am used to high-quality fresh products. I lived a great week without kefir, cheese, yoghurts and cottage cheese. I'll eat all this at home. At Eriyadu Island Resort, I was satisfied with the available diet, and I found an abundance of other excellent sources of protein. For delights with red fish and expensive champagne, I recommend going to a different price segment.
The hotel has one drawback: very poor Internet in the rooms. There is a good connection at the reception, but I did not go specifically for this and decided to arrange a kind of detox from the Internet on the island. Although we communicated with our relatives from the room regularly, but without video, otherwise everything flew off.
As a result, we had a wonderful rest and slept well, saw enough beauty and regained strength, and what else do you need from a vacation in the Maldives? If there are still such affordable tours, I will definitely return to Eriyadu Island Resort. For a lot of money, I would not have flown here and would have looked at other options. The Maldives are so perfect and standard for relaxation and beach holidays that after them you want to choose only the Maldives!

Excellent reef, variety of marine life. Approximately 70% of the species that live in the Maldives are found. The island is not big, there are not very many houses, which leaves its mark on the variety of food, but there are always delicious, excellent desserts. The service is good, the staff is polite and courteous. Cleaning every day. The island itself is very beautiful, there is a lot of greenery, and okena is a fairy tale! Crystal clear water of unreal beauty! There is a rich marine wildlife, and everything is nearby, there is no need to swim anywhere. The weather is good at this time, although it rained a couple of times at night and clouds periodically walked, but it is not specific, in general, the sun and warmth, you can get burned). The rooms are obviously a little old, only new plumbing and thresholds, but without finding fault there is everything you need, even a kettle). Regarding the menu: if you have "all inclusive", in principle, you can not spend money on anything. In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks are included, including alcoholic beverages throughout the day, but only certain ones. For example, free beer for this category in the turtle bar is only Saigon, the rest of the beer is paid. As in the main other Carlsberg bar for free. But it's good both ways. Everything is described in the menu, under each category it is indicated what is included in the price and what is separate. We periodically took something separately to diversify our diet). We do not recommend taking the platinum category, because it does not pay off at all. It is better to pay extra for something, it will be much cheaper. And so, to whom as of course). As for the currency : dollars of certain years of issue are only accepted, for example, a 100 bill is at least 2009. I.e. all bills, including small ones, should be blue, not green. The Union Pay card is working. At least at the time when we were, we could pay with it). The payment system for all additional expenses takes place at check-out. There is nothing special about the excursion, only boat trips. This is optional, of course, but we did not go anywhere, because all the beauty is near the shore). Be sure to take a snorkeling mask), the underwater world is indescribably beautiful. They rent it at the hotel, but we bought it with us) Those who stay for more than 7 days are entitled to kayaks on transparent boats and diving for free. All information is available at the hotel's booth. For those who want a quiet, secluded vacation, this is just the place). There are no parties here, it's quiet, calm and beautiful) In the evenings, there are small events in the main bar, but purely unobtrusively and until 23.00. This is an island for relaxation). Of course there is a shop at the hotel, but not everyone will want to buy cream or pasta there for $ 40 :)
In terms of food, there is not a lot of variety and choice, but it is quite enough for me. Tuna is mainly prepared from fish. But there are always very tasty desserts! Puddings, cakes, pan cats, etc.
Access to the sea from your room: as luck would have it, the outdoor area may be comfortable, some rooms have everything in trees and you need to go to another site. But in any case, the island is small, you can get around it in 10 minutes without hurrying and swim wherever you like!
There are a lot of birds, lizards and of course fish.
The staff is polite, smiling and always prompt to help.
Yes, the furniture is certainly not new, it is clear that something gets old from such humidity, but everything is clean and well maintained.
After all, this is the Maldives! It's beautiful here!

Convenient location on the same atoll as Male Airport, you can get there by speedboat in 45 minutes. The island is quite small, but it has everything - palm trees, beautiful beaches, and an excellent reef, in the ocean you can meet turtles, sharks, rays, a huge number of fish, crabs. The hotel, though 4ka, is solid. The buffet is varied, although not as rich as in Turkey, there were crabs and tuna, meat and pasta, and French fries with sausages for children, soups and salads, alcoholic beverages in the all system of normal quality - the head did not hurt)) There is also a paid menu - which suits whom. The rooms are a little tired, but everything is kept absolutely clean and in order - cleaning 2 times a day, they also change all the towels and plus bring beach towels, and shake off the sand and rearrange the bed. The room has a TV (never turned on, the view from the window was always more interesting), air conditioning, umbrellas in case of rain. From entertainment in the hotel billiards, table tennis, karaoke nights, crab races, etc. There is a good diving center on the territory, where you can take fins and masks, a kayak, and paid services - diving, excursions, etc. To the right of the reception there is a shop, for me everything you need is there - magnets and sunscreen, pareos, swimsuits, slates, souvenirs, etc. - but everything is sooo expensive, if something is urgently needed - yes, you can spend money, but if you need souvenirs, then everything is 3 times cheaper at the airport. The staff is responsive, they did not refuse anything. The territory is being treated from mosquitoes, so no one has been met.
I definitely recommend it, we will come back some day. Also, the price tag is so nice for this hotel.

The hotel is amazing, with excellent staff, everyone is very friendly and lovely. We rested for 10 nights, there were 2 rooms, beach villas (222 and 223), the exit for us is just super right on the big beach. One of the rooms was taken all inclusive, one full board. When we were looking for information about the difference, unfortunately we did not find it. And there were a lot of buns, the full board includes only breakfast, lunch, dinner and amazingly delicious juices, which are in the common room. The difference between the rooms was 20 thousand rubles. We booked ourselves through booking with the calculation at the hotel. But everything turned out to include a lot of things that include alcoholic beverages at the bar, wine, beer for lunch and dinner, drinks to order cola, fanta, etc., 2 bottles of water per 1.5 liters daily. For the entire period of stay, fins and masks for scuba diving are provided, once a day you can go kayaking for 60 minutes, if you live for more than 7 days, 1 swim with an instructor for 45 minutes is included. In general, after living for a few days, we wanted to buy an all-inclusive room for 2, but the price turned out to be prohibitively high, so it's better to book right away. All-inclusive drinks are included only in the main bar. The beach bar is only for a fee, cocktail prices are on average $ 5. The island itself is very small, you can walk around in 7-10 minutes. There are a lot of crabs, lizards on the island, and apparently a funny permanent resident, either a stork or a heron. We saw a bat with a baby. The underwater world is just a fairy tale. We swam several times with a turtle and saw sharks of different sizes, one was in the area of two meters, it was creepy, but of course there are a lot of impressions, there are a huge number of fish near the main pier, they swim in whole shoals, it's a pity that there was no underwater camera with them. We found out only at the end of the vacation that it was possible to rent in the diving center. Very nice guys work at the diving center, on the last day before leaving, my son dived with an instructor, Gary was just delighted with him, explained everything very clearly, the child later regretted that he had not gone diving earlier. There were a lot of mosquitoes on the island, stock up on some remedies. By the way, there is a small shop on the territory, we were very surprised by the prices in it, a lighter $ 1, mosquito cream $ 5, after-sun cream $ 10, cigarettes $ 15, for me it is very democratic considering that you can't buy anything nearby.
On nutrition, a special huge thank you to the chef, the food is simply unrealistically delicious, there are not many dishes, but everything is just on top, we got to raw tuna one evening, it was something with something. The desserts are very tasty, and ice cream was always served at lunch. We had a vacation in the Maldives for the first time, but we just liked absolutely everything, thanks a lot to the hotel and a low bow to the people who work in it

Total indifference
We are staying at the hotel in June 2024, in the Maldives for the second time, before that we were in Fihalhohi. And, although both hotels are about the same category, Eriyadu impressed much less, and in some moments even upset.
FOOD: a very modest choice, only pasta is cooked for dinner in the living kitchen area, fish and grilled meat are not fried. Omelets, pancakes and waffles are prepared for breakfast, there is sausage (the cheapest, unnatural), processed cheese, tuna (a national dish, like our canned one - it's really delicious). For lunch and dinner, there is almost always a choice of fish or meat plus a side dish. There is no seafood in its pure form, only rice with seafood, where, of course, there are few of them. Fruits are watermelons and melons, agave, sometimes apples and pineapple. There was no papaya. There are always curry dishes ~ Indian cuisine. There are things to make a salad from: leaves, tomatoes, cucumbers, capers. From the sweet: there are both delicious desserts and passable panacotes. In general, the taste of the dishes was almost always on top. The cook is probably one of the most responsible employees on the island.
Alcohol in all in the usual: beer, wine, cocktail (6 pieces), there is very little alcohol in cocktails, but not bad.
ROOMS, ISLAND: the rooms are outdated, in a typical Maldivian style (although there are some renovated ones), the furniture is like from a Soviet cottage. The only plus in the design of the rooms is a bathroom with a partially missing roof and a rain shower, it's atmospheric, Maldivian. The island itself is not very well maintained, leaves are not robbed somewhere, corals are dumped in one big pile, as well as construction debris. It would be possible to paint the wall separating the part of the island for the staff. And update the furniture in the bars. There is quite a disregard for the appearance of the island. However, nothing can spoil this beauty of nature: the ocean, sand, entering the water, sunsets compensate for everything. The island itself is sooo small - we walked around in ~ 7 minutes, this is not a plus or a minus: it is cozy, and you can also use piers for walks, and go around the island several times.
STAFF: in general, the cleaning, waiters, and reception are quite pleasant and friendly, BUT their response to the problem is absolutely unacceptable. The air conditioner in our room 239 broke down, the master was called, fixed. That same night, he broke down again, sleeping without air conditioning was unbearable, stuffy. At 3:00 a.m., of course, it was impossible to contact anyone (although the night number of the administration is indicated - it turns out that in case of a health emergency, no one will react quickly and you will have to wait for the morning). In the morning, the air conditioner was repaired, eventually broke down for the third time, then we were "lucky" - at 23:30 ... total: instead of moving us immediately to another room (we were free) or offering at least compensation for this hassle, the administration preferred not to do anything.
REEF, NATURE: the island is green, with beautiful vegetation and wildlife. Herons, crabs, birds. The reef is rich: it is very easy to meet turtles and sharks.
HOTEL FEATURES: fins and snorkeling masks are available for free for all in during the entire vacation. And also pitching (not with a transparent bottom, ordinary) - 60 minutes every day. These are very cool water activities.
ENTERTAINMENT: I have already mentioned water sports, plus there is badminton and a playground for it with lighting, you can play football, there is also a ball. Diving center, karaoke in the bar in the evenings, local bands sing.

Everything is just great! I join all the enthusiastic reviews. All views are fully consistent with the site. We were not disappointed in anything in September 2023. The service is excellent. The only thing is that there is no Russian-speaking staff, but now everyone has gadgets with translation, so there were no problems. The hotel is not new. We were first settled in 201 villas - I don't know if there are worse ones there. There is no beach, everything is mildewed and streaked. Then they moved to 257 - just heaven and earth. I am attaching photos
The reef is wonderful, the food is good - you won't be hungry, Chili crab on Fridays, tuna sashimi on weekends, etc.
We wanted to go fishing, but after 8 days of rest, the group did not gather.
On the home reef, we saw 3 turtles at the same time, winglets, balloon fish, countless trigger Fish, parrots, tridacnae and other common fish in Maldives!
With a good mood, this is a great place to relax, a 40-minute speedboat, but this is far from the luxury Maldives that we are used to

I lived in this hotel from 03/23/2013/2023, in a Deluxe villa. I think that the hotel does not match the number of stars. Maximum of 3. Everything is terribly worn out, from the keychain on the room key to the black towels in the bathroom. Even the "do not disturb" sign is split! There are no bathrobes and slippers in the room. Beach chairs cannot be moved to the room because they are incredibly heavy! The cushions for the sun beds have long faded and become stained. The tables in the room are painted with a pen, the toilet lid is burst, they are cleaned for show, if you do not ask to replace the towels and put tea in the room, the staff will not guess. The food is monotonous, but delicious. On the last day, a 5-centimeter mustachioed cockroach ran around the tables for breakfast! BUT the ocean is crystal clear, the sand is snow-white and fine as powder, the reef is alive and beautiful. That is, the island itself is beautiful, there are many fish in the water. The hotel is terrible. I have been to the Maldives three times, so there is something to compare it with. You can find a much better option for this money.

We were in March 2023. Well, the hotel is very budget-friendly and very tired, but it seems that no one from the management cares. We have never seen any signs of repair, or at least anything being repaired. Although everything you need is functioning properly. The room (bungalow) is of normal size, the mattress /linen is clean and not too much sagged, the furniture is old, the light bulbs are all mismatched and some are not lit, there are no problems with water. The air conditioner is working, I didn't check the refrigerator, because there is nothing to put in it, there is a TV, but not a single channel in Russian, so it was used in the background. There is a small veranda with armchairs and a table and two wooden deck chairs with mattresses that you drag chasing the shadow, beach towels are included. The sea is nearby, from a couple of steps to a couple of dozen meters, depending on the room of the bungalow. The sand is fine, but pieces of coral are not uncommon, so you need to wear sneakers for swimming. We were not very lucky with the weather, there was decent excitement and strong wind all the time we were at sea. It's cloudy in the morning/evening, so we never saw any sunrises or sunsets. I have heard more than once that the weather has changed a lot and there is no seasonal stability anymore. In my opinion, the hotel does not pull more than three. No one speaks Russian, when checking in, they take pictures of passports, hand out keys, drop the information about the hotel on whatsapp and take it to the room, then they are left to themselves. It reminds me of camping with food and cleaning. The food is quite at the level, there is enough variety and quantity. After reading the reviews, they brought fumitox and muses. the column ..., neither one nor the other was needed, because the territory is periodically smoked from flying insects, and the column was not useful, because it was constantly windy, and the noise of nature was more pleasant. There was practically no entertainment, they took a kayak (an hour a day is included in the price), they got tired of raking the waves, my wife took a diving lesson ($ 200), she liked it (I'll back off here: instructor Dora, a very pleasant and responsible girl, besides the only one on the island who speaks Russian very decently), in the evening either to the bar (the quality of the drinks is mediocre) or to sleep. In general, to be honest, I did not understand the sighs about the Maldives, of course, the sand and the water are cool, but there are many countries where all this is not worse, but much more diverse. But this is my personal opinion.

A very good hotel, the island is small, it is convenient, you can go from beach to beach, explore all the reefs. The rooms are ordinary, towels, linen, napkins in the restaurant are old. But this does not spoil the rest. They cook smartly, at home, with a soul. In general, it is comfortable, pleasant impressions, I recommend it.

Maldives is gorgeous!
The island is small. The bungalows are located right on the shore. A nice, interesting reef. Nurse sharks swim at the pier.
Food is the only big disadvantage of the hotel. There's nothing to eat. There are 2-4 hot dishes to choose from + a couple of side dishes.

The hotel is quite old, they are reluctant to clean. The staff is polite, but the reception can be deceived at check-out.

A very pleasant hotel. The island is small 350×120 m. It is very important - not far from Male (40-50 minutes by speedboat). The rooms require minor repairs. The cost corresponds to the services received.
Cuisine for every taste: Oriental, European. The sand is perfect, barefoot all over the island. I recommend.
