We had a rest in the Sholokhov Hotel with a wonderful cheerful company from 09/06/2024-09/14/2024. we are completely delighted, starting with a cozy hotel and ending with atmospheric Abkhazia. The country of the soul, the country of kind and sympathetic people. Nature, the sea, and gastronomic ecstasy are generally silent. Karina is a wonderful Karina, she cooks simply fantastic breakfasts, but also healthy ones, which is not a little important. We had a rest for a whole year, we didn't want to leave, cozy and very comfortable houses with a convenient entrance and a terrace. We will definitely return to the Sholokhov hotel more than once!!! We had a rest here in July of this year. A spacious and stylish eco-house fully equipped with everything necessary for life. The location is simply gorgeous! 7 minutes walk to the sea. On the territory there is parking for a car, a barbecue area, a summer kitchen with all cooking utensils, a swimming pool, a recreation area. A very friendly hostess who always makes sure that the guests do not have any worries during their holidays. And they also prepare very tasty breakfasts, which are included in the price. A big plus was early check-in, without any additional charges🙏🏻
There are shops and a great restaurant nearby. We will definitely come and advise our friends! ❤️

Choosing a place to stay in Abkhazia, especially when this was the first time for some of our company, we stayed at the Eco-Hotel Sholokhov.
We had a rest in July 2024, a company of three families, we did not have to choose the houses in the hotel, they were all exactly the same, only six, in one of which the wonderful Karina lives, she is also the administrator and the director, and the gardener and the cook 😉😂
The rooms have everything you need as in the description and photos correspond, I'll just add that everything is brand new, the rooms are clean and tidy, excellent mattresses 👍
The territory is well maintained, with a large enclosed Parking for cars, the pool also helped out during the hot day.
Just a cool and stylish place that deserves 👏🏻is a cafe on the territory of the Hotel, where Karina served hearty and very tasty breakfasts at a convenient time by agreement, and in the evening you could have dinner with a company of meat and fish cooked on your own on a barbecue (a barbecue area with everything you need is available).
P.s. Fish and meat were brought frozen with them, there is a place in the hotel for storage.
For those who choose accommodation near the sea, I will say my opinion, it turned out to be not so easy to find something good, it was important for our company: a new hotel, breakfasts, clean rooms and well-groomed territory, closed Parking, the opportunity to cook a barbecue, and this Hotel turned out to be Sholokhov, from which on foot to the pebble beach it took no more than 15 minutes on a flat road, but we also got there in our cars, which were parked 100 meters from the beach under tall trees without any problems.
We also traveled around Abkhazia in our own cars, fortunately there are no Sochi serpentines and traffic jams, the roads are good, paved. In the evenings we went to Gagra where we walked along the embankment and admired the beauty of nature. Gagra is about 20 km away, about 15-20 minutes by car, there were no problems with parking either, but the local cuisine of Abkhazia did not come to me personally, although I grew up in the Caucasus, but everyone has their own.
P.s. When traveling on vacation, there are always costs to understand: a bottle of 0.5 Sukhumi beer in Gagra costs 80 rubles., a bottle of the same drink in the store on Lake Ritsa 270.
Returning to our hotel, I recommend the Eco-Hotel Sholokhov, this is the place where you should stay for comfortable accommodation. Special thanks to Karina (mom) for the attention and Karina for organizing our trip.
