Every year I come to this hotel from Russia for 3-4 weeks. Breathe in the mountain air, look at the mountains and nature. Getting to the city by bus 12 is fast and inexpensive. Well, or by taxi Yandex (2200-4000 maximum tenge from the city to the hotel). I am satisfied with the price of the hotel, cleanliness, the staff is very attentive from the manager Olzhas to the cleaning staff. I buy food in the city and store it in the refrigerator. I like being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With eco-friendly air. I returned to Russia refreshed and minus ten years in health.

My son and I checked into the hotel on 03/09/25 after lunch. Before that, my son had booked a double room with two beds through the booking app. But upon arrival, it turned out that there was only one double bed in the reserved room. We were offered another room with separate beds, but more expensive, due to the fact that it is an "improved standard". We were outraged by this, but we were very tired after two days of driving with difficult weather conditions. We didn't have the energy to look for another hotel, so we had to agree. Then it turned out that the TV in the room was not working because of a cable TV line somewhere. There was a smart TV in another, empty room, and we asked them to put it on for the evening to watch a movie on the Internet. But we were refused after arguments and bickering on the part of the administrator. In the morning we left to look for another place to live. After all this, there was a very unpleasant aftertaste.

The repair is tired, the toilet flushes poorly, the most common breakfast costs 4000 tenge, which is expensive at local prices for such a place and such a breakfast. Warm water barely flows from the shower, it has never been cleaned in 4 days, they said the garbage should be put at the door. The location turned out to be so-so, you need to take a bus or taxi to the slope, there is also a lot to go to the city, but there is nothing nearby. So far, the only thing worse was the hotel in Belgium, where the local youth screamed half the night

The room was tired, the locks were broken, the tiles in the bathroom had fallen off, I was afraid that it would fall off on my head. The toilet was wobbling. My friends had a musty smell in their room and it was cold. After Borjomi for 2500 and Zhiguli for 3000 at the reception, I was afraid to go to the restaurant.
But! We'll go there again soon. We'll take food and beer with us.
By bus number 12. To Medeo 5 min, to the city 20 min.
I'm editing it a year later.
I came here again.
Instead of 2 stars (last time) I'm betting 4.
I'll come and ski here again.

A majestic establishment in a majestic place. The food is hearty, the place is great. The rooms are decent, without drafts and dampness. Sometimes there may be problems with the water pressure, but not enough to remove one star.

The great location in the mountains, the prices compared to other hotels in Almaty are acceptable, there are stops of the regular 12 bus to the city, but there are no shops nearby, the restaurant in the hotel leaves much to be desired - overprice, tasteless.

The hotel of the type "for tourism to the mountains" is located right on the road to medeo, next to the mountain river right across the road. Taxis from the city go there all ok. There is an elevator. Don't expect rooms wow, but it's clean. The hotel has a kitchen. Medeo is a little more than 1 km away from it, we walked for 30 minutes - a thrill. I lived for 2 days.

It 's sad - the hotel sucks , it 's a mess .The cleaning is superficially done , there are cockroaches everywhere, a layer of dust under the bed , garbage and dirt . The place of the mattress is a sponge all over the hair, no one has ever cleaned under the sponge. The bed linen and towels are in terrible condition, as well as the dirty refrigerator stinks, the shower barely closes, the toilet is wobbly, the floors are streaked - complete chaos. I don't recommend it

It's a strange place. It seems like everything is expensive and rich, but it's done for three with a minus))). As an overnight stay, it's quite possible to get to Shimbulak and to the center of Almaty in 10-15 minutes.

Nice hotel. Everything is nearby .There are problems with the kitchen, there are often no dishes or there may not be enough ingredients in the breakfast, but the price will be for a full breakfast. A good place if you want to stay to go skiing or snowboarding or go on a short hike. There is a bus stop nearby.

A hotel in the style of Soviet times. It was probably built for the device then. Advantageous location at the foot of the mountains near Medeo, where the Winter Olympic Games were held (I think in 1976). Breakfast is not included in the accommodation and is always monotonous, with no choice. Those who like to relax in silence will do.

This is a hotel where everything is very bad - from the location of the bidet in the shower to the barely flowing warm water. When we moved in, there was no toilet paper in the room. The view of the room reminds of the times of the "scoop". But it was the only affordable accommodation option, a 4-minute taxi ride from the beginning of the cable car to the ski area in the mountains. The other options were much more expensive. Apparently it was necessary to book the hotel in advance - there was a completely different level of hotel nearby for reasonable money, but there were no places in it…

God, it's a circus.
The plane was delayed for a day, they asked to leave the reservation, just reschedule it a day later, they wrote and called whatsapp (no one answered)
I had to call it looks like an employee's personal number (that's the only way we got through, but we never heard proper communication and greetings), we were just told that the reservation had already been withdrawn since we did not arrive on time, the question why we were not answered before we were supposed to call was answered "Well, it turned out that"
And with these words, tired, we had to look for a new place to stay

Sociable staff, good service, there was no lock in the toilet in the room, not enough storage space, sometimes water interruptions and very poor water pressure in the morning, thin walls, good location for those who often go to the mountains on foot only 30 minutes to Medeu, to the city to go 20 minutes by bus, to the territory has a swimming pool, more chess and gazebos (Kairat is the best)

- towels and bed linen are already asking for updates
- poor sound insulation, especially in the bathroom.
A normal hotel for the season or if you plan to walk a lot in nature, but only sleep in the hotel.
Medeu can be reached on foot.

Terrible attitude to the safety of guests. They don't have an air conditioner, a first-aid kit, or a security guard on the premises. If something happens to you here, you will sit for 30-40 minutes and wait for an ambulance. And the staff will not help you in any way. They don't even have an unfortunate bandage.

The place is extraordinary and picturesque. The service is at a high level. Sleep in this place is strong and effective. A mountain river flows across the road. We booked through Booking, confirmation came. We arrived at night, but they are not waiting for us and there are no places... And in general, they don't really watch Booking.. "pay extra and check into the suite," the receptionist told us... There's nowhere to go, we're tired and it's already night.. They settled in. It's also interesting inside, on the way to the room there are streaks on the walls, we thought maybe the roof once flowed.. and how they settled in, it became clear... The shower cabin is huge, a lot of Jacuzzi functions and the like, everything is broken and half of the water that goes down the drain drains onto the floor and it fills the seams of the walls and flows somewhere, I think to the neighbors below.. the washbasin is burst, the robes are there but stained.. in general, being there makes you feel dirty..
From the good news: we were not left without a roof over our heads, thanks to the administrator, reluctantly but made a couple of calls to his supervisors, agreed on an acceptable price for the "EPRST Suite". Beautiful view from the window and fresh air.
One of the reasons why we chose this hotel was a high rating for the food: it was cooked quickly, delivered to the room, but the taste and serving does not even reach the dining level..
Apparently, the place was cool once, but it got stuck in the 90s...
