For the rulers of the eastern states, it has long been customary to build magnificent palaces in order to show the strength of the state in order to live, patronize, welcome guests. Palaces were considered the place where the Khan and his loved ones lived, where public services were performed. Therefore, it has come down to us without a holistic architecture. Khiva has not one, but several Khan palaces Khamon. One of these is the famous stone courtyard Palace of Ollogulikhan.

One of the most beautiful places in Khiva! The palace has 2 parts with different entrances from different streets: the harem is separate, the other two courtyards with the museum are separate. Both are included in the general ticket and are worthy of a visit, don't miss it!
