Well, of course the temple is beautiful, I was there 3 months ago, it impressed me. We stopped there on the way to Fethiye. Well, the ancient city is very big, there are few of them. A very good temple!!

On the one hand, there is no inherent beauty of the Potara in this city. But this is also a plus . The city appears to us as English archaeologists left it after they removed everything from their point of view, the most valuable or what they could not take away.
Of course, the most interesting thing in the city is the amphitheater. And several tombs that hide in the necropolis. Apart from everything else. Dirt roads and tall uncut bushes give this place a pioneer feel. With proper imagination, you can feel like Indiana. I recommend going with children from 10-14 years old who are interested in archaeology and history. Just before visiting, you should definitely familiarize yourself with the history of the city, otherwise these are dead stones scattered on the mountain

!!! It was 09/14/2021 - the museum was not working, tickets are not being sold. According to the employee, it was closed due to fires for a month or two, it is not known for sure. This employee "allows" to see the ruins only from the parking lot, although here they are - an amphitheater is already across the path, but you can't look from the road, he whistles 😅
