Casa de Los Balconies is perhaps the most famous building in La Orotava and probably the number one tourist attraction. The building, built in 1632, is a classic example of 17th-century Canarian architecture with traditional carved balconies. The Casa houses a museum, which we visited with pleasure to see how the famous Canarians lived more than three centuries ago...

Not so much the house of balconies as the city itself. If you are staying in the north of Tenerife, be sure to visit.
