The restaurant is in the very center, at a height, the cuisine is not bad, but very modest, like a dining room. Lunch is hearty and not expensive. Portions are prepared individually, so it takes a long time.
I've been here for work several times. I try to figure it out as follows.
Positive
+ location- right in the center of the old town
+ view from above in the evening
Probably not anymore
Minuses
- waiting for even a menu
- the food is not very tasty
- if there are a lot of waiters working there, the service should be higher, alas, we did not see this
- we were guests, as our escort, they almost did not pay attention to us
- and in the end, the service in % is already too much
I don't RECOMMEND IT
On food: manta rays are not worth attention at all. Even the salad didn't work out for the cook. The cradle is not bad, but it was fried by an amateur. The flatbread is not the most delicious, you can eat it. There were four of us, all of us were not impressed by the food.
By service: they sat inside the room, there were also rooms on the floor, some teenagers shouted from the rooms, apparently the children of employees. This is strange.
The prices are high, even in comparison with the rest of Uzbekistan. Portions are smaller under the same conditions.
I would not recommend this place to visit.
We waited sooooo long for the menu, although only three tables were occupied in the restaurant. Then they waited just as long for the dishes. They are small in size, do not expect Uzbek-sized dishes here. The waiter speaks Russian poorly, does not speak English at all. I couldn't explain what the dishes were, what they were made of. Ordered at random. It turned out to be delicious in the end, but little and not super tasty. Another 15% service, which in fact does not exist.
If you have a lot of time before the train, as we had, then you can sit here, stall for time, drink tea😁
Our recent visit to the Dolon restaurant in Bukhara left us completely disappointed. The menu turned out to be deceptive, the service was low-level, and we had to face deception.
We ordered an assortment of Samsa in anticipation of receiving 6 pieces (2 beef, 2 lamb, 2 pumpkins) for 40,000 som, as shown in the picture. However, they brought us Samsa with onions, and charged 80,000 som for it. This is just a discrepancy - after all, if we had ordered 6 separate Samsa, the cost would have been only 60,000 som.
The bowl of shrimp turned out to be made of lamb, and the chicken in the sauce did not look like anything depicted in the picture. Unfortunately, such changes have rather disappointed us.
To make the situation even worse, the waiter persistently tried to sell us beer, refusing to name its price and claiming that it was cheap and not worth worrying about the price. However, when we received the bill, it turned out that for each small and unworthy beer he took 35,000 som.
The final score was simply too high, and when we tried to figure out the situation, we were met with rudeness. Deception and dishonest practices in this restaurant are simply unacceptable.
Avoid the Dolon restaurant; it's a place to cheat. Look for other establishments in the area that value honesty and offer a pleasant service experience.
Terrible kitchen, the feeling that I came to the dining room.
The salad is seasoned with a mountain of mayonnaise, tender beef, hot meat on top is seasoned with ketchup, lagman is salted and about nothing.
198,000 soums were given for 3 dishes and 2 drinks (coffee and Cola).
The price does not match the quality at all.
Excellent roof on the 4th floor, perhaps the best view in Bukhara.
I was confused by the semi-working toilet, so 4 * stars, but you can forgive everything for the look.
Prices are above average, for tourists, but quite affordable.
Vegetables on a skewer 2 pcs. $2.5.
Shish kebab 2 sticks of okogo $5.5.
There is Samarkand wine, local and beer.
Wine - $12 bottle of dry red. This is a big plus, they don't insist everywhere, but you can do romantic evenings right here.
The view is great, there is also a fifth floor - a roof for photos, for whom to Instagram - fly in.
We visited this beautiful place yesterday! It's super! All the Food is delicious, the whole of Bukhara is visible.. Beauty!!! The prices are reasonable, the waiters are friendly.
It's a terrible place. At first, you wait a very long time for the menu, then you wait a long time for the order. As a result, they brought not a shurpa, but just a bone, a straight bone without meat, on top of some potatoes and a little broth. It's just tin. And it cost 30 thousand soums. The same incomprehensible portion of mantas per 50 grams. The culmination was wine, they took 2 glasses: in one there was a huge dead fly floating, in the second a live midge. They said we wouldn't pay for the wine, let them drink it themselves. In the end, they tried to cheat and count more. As a result, they paid for the manta rays and the shurpa, while they did not forget to add more money for the service. And they didn't even apologize for this unsanitary situation. I don't recommend it to anyone.
This place smells like a scam.
The view, of course, is not bad.
the service is disgusting, they brought BREAD and pilaf, they didn't even eat, the portions are scanty, the prices are horse.
I consider this an insult.
When asked why there were so few, the waiter ran off somewhere without telling us anything worthwhile.
In the end, we just got up and left (we didn't even eat anything)
Finally, the waiter wanted us to pay the bill. "Well, we poured you tea and brought you a fresh salad...."
Complete absurdity!!!!
The place is pleasant, the salads are delicious. We ordered a hodgepodge, brought the devil something salty. I also don't understand what's with the vegetables. Some bones, not lives. I would like to say only obscenities about shurpa. It's not worth going there for salads.
The food is tasteless, the interior is perfect…
If we weren't hungry, we wouldn't eat at all.
Look for another place… Of the advantages, only the observation deck
Of the advantages, only a good panorama ...
Wrong waiters, disgusting cuisine, EVERYTHING that was ordered - it was impossible to eat, I have not yet met this in Uzbekistan ((((((

We ordered the dishes really badly.
We waited about 1:35-1:55 min. The service is just 1/10.
In short, I do not recommend it. If of course you can wait 2 hours for food to be brought to you, then you can, the view is good.
The food is good, but you can not say that it is delicious. Pilaf is a disappointment. Rice, carrots, some meat and almost no taste. The dishes and tables are a little dirty. There is an observation deck at the top, which offers an interesting view of the city.
The atmosphere is gorgeous
The food is normal - we tried shish kebab, not ice.
The service is below average - we waited a long time to place an order, we waited a long time for an order, we waited a long time for an invoice.
The service is disgusting. There was a feeling that the restaurant only works for foreign groups with guides. They asked for a menu, but we did not wait for it, the menu that was brought to us was given to a group of foreigners, they did not even remember about us. We left.
A very unpleasant impression of this place. We took a bite at the terrace overlooking the city. First of all, there was no water in the toilet. Then, we ordered jiz, lula, salad, pepsi and tea for two. The lula is greasy, the jiz is hard and salty. They couldn't drink tea at all, they drank pepsi. The culmination was that we were not given the change of $ 14, despite the fact that the bill for such cooking was $ 15. If I hadn't counted it, it would have worked.
Previously, I often visited this place and brought friends.
But yesterday for 3 salads with a terrible smell of vinegar, 4 sticks of meat kebab (there were 2 times more eggplant pieces on a stick than meat), dumplings with potatoes!!! and 2 teapots of tea (tea was waited for 45 minutes) and a bottle of local vodka, they charged us 50!!! dollars.
They left in a terribly depressed mood with the feeling that you were just blatantly deceived.
Today, for a great dinner in Old Bukhara (to the right of the Asia hotel), they gave $ 25!!
At the same time they received first-class service.
