Beautiful and iconic spot on the Bosphorus. Even just viewing it from the shore is a special experience, especially at sunset. The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for a stroll. A must-see for anyone visiting Istanbul

The Maiden Tower in Istanbul is one of the symbols of the city. It is built on a small island located in the middle of the Bosphorus Strait.
The building is three-tiered. The upper level has a summer terrace with sofas, an observation deck with fixed binoculars, and a bar.
On the middle tier there are souvenir shops, a photo zone with Turkish decorations and costumes, there is also a cafe where a traditional Turkish breakfast is served in the morning and a set lunch in the afternoon.
On the lower tier there is a restaurant "Maiden Tower", inside which parties with a show program and live music are held.
The only way to get to the tower is by water. It is located near the Salajak embankment in the Uskyudar district — it is located in the Asian part of Istanbul. The shore and the historical monument are about 200 meters apart, which the boat overcomes in a couple of minutes.
Another option is to go to the tower from the European part of the city: from the ferry piers Kabatash or Karakey.
Or you can just sit on the embankment opposite this location, take tea from passing merchants and enjoy the views)
